Is it a Air Fryer? Do it has its own propane tank ? Or do you still need a propane tank? Can you use it to fry other foods, like a fish fry? Does it use any type of cooking oil at all? Not enough description?

-Veronica Jones 21/11/2020 10h27m55 am

It cooks with infra red technologies. It does not come with a propane tank which you will need. However, we sell those very reasonably. It is recommended for Turkey, Chicken, Beef, Pork. There is no cooking oil involved. Thank you for your question.

-Charlie Nadler 31/1/2020 8h36m30 am

Has anyone at U-Haul actually used this and can vouch for it's effectiveness?

-Chris 6/6/2015 7h32m42 pm

Absolutely Chris! I found a coworker who could vouch for the oil-less fryer, he had the following to say:

Yes, I own one. I think it is great! It takes less time to cook a turkey than the oven, but about 1/2 more time than an oil fryer. Unlike an oil fryer, you are able to add your butter and seasonings. I have also used it for pot roasting a whole chicken and ham!

Are these able to be used indoors/ garages?

-Nichole Langston 3/8/2014 10h07m03 pm

Our propane program manager writes: "While I'm sure some individuals do use this product indoors, we would recommend that you do not since propane cylinder manufactures and most local fire codes prohibit using or storing propane cylinders indoors as a safety precaution."
