no recording of the mileage, no walk around of the vehicle, no pre inspection at all. Gas tank at 1/4 full so I had to overpay for gas. 11 liters for 11 miles. Windshield washer fluid empty

The lady at the front desk can't speak English. How would you think we checkout our truck with a person like that? I had to use sign language to communicate.

Clerk made me go back out to get mileage from truck this after we went out to do the check. If this is the service is uhaul Standards, your need to improve.
scott harrisonBetter training for all the staff working at the location would be helpful. The person we dealt with had to call someone who walked them through it. They were very nice and helpful but hadn't received any training so it took a long time.

KEN KNUDSENMy friend that drove the truck for the return the staff initially declined the return. They were not helpful and even with the manager on the phone it was difficult because he would no come in person. There was no car check and no signature for the return of the truck. Plus on top of that the staff's unclear instructions led to a minor parking incident at the location.

Worker was late opening the store and I had to redo all of the online express check again with them which took 15 minutes. At check out, they told me if I kept the truck past 7pm, I'd be charged two days. Totally wrong. I booked for 8 hours and returned on time. Never coming here again and calling uhaul to complain.

Extra milage that was put on trying to locate the equipment that I needed. Contacted UHaul a number of times to get a resolution to the problems. No tracking if the calls and then got extra charges placed on my credit card with no resolution for the problem. The district manager was not caring to listen, review or even look into what the problem was or even cared that I was put out when I should have been catered too!! Will definately be reconsidering my next move with another service provider!! Very unhappy customer!!!

Abdellahi SyllaWorst Uhaul location. Woman did not know how to do the rental process. Also spoke very bad english and hard to communicate. Had a young kid running around and making a mess. Was more concerned dealing with other walk in customers for the convenient store than looking after me. Tried to scam me by forcing me to pay for the CDW which i had refused in my reservation already and when i said i don't want it she said i have to pay for it. Truck was in a very bad and dirty condition. Cigarattes smoked in it, pop spilled, pop cans on floor and overall very dirty and nasty and overhead door was completely open while parked.

He obviously Pocketed the ,10$. They also said I could drop it off at any neighborhood dealer and that was not true. I will never again rent another U-Haul

It was very confusing. I would have appreciated the phone call confirming the booking to explain how this pick up would go and what to expect from the location.

Oussama TijaniWe had a terrible experience with U-Haul. We received a phone call the night before to say that our pick-up location was changed. They assured us in the phone call that we will still be able to rent the equipment (three dollies) that we put on hold. They said they don't think they'll have three available, only two. When we got there the next morning, they didn't have any available and no one was able to help from U-Haul either. We drove around to multiple U-Haul locations to get the equipment, but couldn't find any, so we ended up having to buy $150 worth of dollies from Canadian Tire and lost an hour of our moving day. As a result, we were late in returning the equipment and were charged double. The truck was dirty when we picked it up, had garbage inside of it. Terrible company, hope I never have to use it again!
Ryan WiesnerThe operator of my pickup location is a fraud. I discovered that he penalized the last user of the truck I rented on gas but didn't top up the gas. I brought it to his attention and he threatened to cancel my rental if I didn't bear the cost of the gas. Secondly he keeps a nursing mother and her newborn baby in a convenient store that sells infectionable products. I saw it as a risk to the new baby and a health hazard to unsuspecting customers.

Mohammad AL-QADHIThis place sells crack pipes. No reputable business would choose to be represented by these people. The woman behind the counter didn't seem to know what a furniture pad was, and said they don't have anything like that when I asked if they were in the truck. (I had reserved some with my rental) This turned out to be a huge hassle when I dropped the truck off and the guy working at the Dunbar Street location in Vancouver didn't believe my story, and threatened to charge me $72 for not returning rented equipment. The behavior of the people working in these places makes me rethink ever going with uhaul if I can possibly avoid it again.

zerihun woldemichaelBe sure to give yourself enough time when renting from this location. It's a convenience store with lots of other customers - so the focus won't be on you alone. Set yourself up on the uhaul app before reserving the vehicle to save time when you pick it up. Unfortunately the app failed to let me check the vehicle back in (took 12 pictures of the odometer and the app rejected each one).
Mladen RyhardIt took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get my vehicle. Something was wrong with "the system". Customer service told me on the phone I could have the vehicle for an extra 2 hours. When I was handed the keys by the location staff, I was told to have it back on time (the original time), which meant my 4 hour rental turned into 1 hour and 40 minutes. They didn't care what customer service said. There was no way I could have it done in time, so I just took the vehicle, rushed through my move and returned 45 minutes late. I'd never rent from here again if you paid me.

After opening, although we were first, he still processed a handful of transactions and took a couple of calls on his personal phone. Since another reservation was made for our van not long after our intended return time, our time-frame was reduced by approximately 45 minutes (out of 3 hours) and could not be further adjusted. Much undue stress was had. Completely unreliable pick up location.

The seats of the van I used needed vacuuming before use. We used a tarp inside the van to ensure cleanliness. The van drove and ran well.

Dan LacelleUhaul registered me to a drop off location that no longer accepted returns. After a long day of driving and unloading I had a hassle returnjng the truck. When the first location would not accept the truck I phoned uHaul and they registered me to a second location. Whe n I arrived there they refused me and only after phoning uHaul and waiting an hour could I drop the truck off. It took almost two hours to return the truck. This is horrible service.
