GREAT SERVICE was in an out very quick

GARY SThe location was great and truck was ready. The part that I didn't like was the mobile pick up. It wasted a LOT of my time. License photos and references, etc. should be sent ahead of pickup so that the agent can "approve" that portion ahead of time. When we're moving, time is literally money and 20-30 minutes for pickup is ridiculous in every way!
Jaretta CPhillip was very helpful with everything and went above and beyond for me, right down to finding me someone to help me unload my unit, moving my things into my new home and dealing with my van rental…I highly recommend them and their name, “A Better Storage” certainly describes this business and staff!

WINSTON SWell, I was suppose to pick up truck at 10 AM. The person that gives the truck to me showed up at 10AM. After all the paper work and I get the keys, the truck just clicks and don't start. I check the battery clamps and they are loose. tighten them and still won't start. The clerk calls the manager and I talk to him. I tell him That I am a mechanic ( retired ) and I will send my helper to get my jump box and he says fine. The jump box doesn't help so I get my tire iron and hit the starter. truck starts. I took the truck and did what I had to do. when I brought the truck back I told them that it needs a starter and solenoid ( Chevy ). they gave me 2 Chic fila cards. but they still charged me full price. wondering if I should send them a bill, lol. They should check these things out before they rent them out. A problem like this is a come and go problem. I didn't have anymore problems with it the rest of the time I had it and I shut it off and started it several times. the problem will only get worse. I hope they take my advise and replace the starter. The truck was kind of beat up, front bumper bent up, sides of box dented and drivers door wasn't working as it should. they charge the customer for damages but don't fix the damages. All in all it was alright. I understand that problems like this are intermittent. Someone else might get stranded.

Katherine JArrived to pick up online reservation- was forced to wait nearly 30 minutes, seat was jammed (another 10 minutes of my time), got to destination and the truck was padlocked- I didn't have a code, called and asked for code, tried 8 different codes and lock wouldn't budge. Took the truck back, topped fuel off to level I got it at and returned. Attendant got lock off and today I received a receipt for full charges PLUS a fuel surcharge to boot! Worst experience ever and never heard back from manager as promised. I will fight the charges and make sure the entire town knows what a crooked and unprofessional group they have representing U-Haul! Absolutely AWFUL!

dean mI don't care about the cleanliness of the location what I care is that when you tell me you have a truck it's there, it's the proper size, and it's a quick and quick out. The only praise I will give is the location we dropped the truck back off at, the man took care of everything and I just dropped it off and left. That's what people want when they rent the truck.

Tommy AI picked the trailer up Thursday afternoon around closing time and returned it Saturday morning at 9:50 before this location opened and was charged for 3days . I can understand charging me for 2 days but I don't think I should have been charged for 3days.
James SThe lady was nice but they charged me $209!!! I only had the truck one extra day and they said I kept it longer and didn't put gas in it. They also charged me outrageous amounts for the miles. Will never rent from this U-Haul location again.

Andrew YTruck was dirty when I picked it up. Mud all over the floor boards. I took a picture with the app when picked up. When I returned it it still had the same mud. It was not clean so I marked it not clean. I got charged a cleaning fee for someone else's mess. This location is obviously not taking care of equipment.
