Very poorly maintained location, like something out of The Walking Dead. Gas tank was almost completely empty. An old U-Haul receipt from a prior customer with their personal information and address was left in the front seat. A large piece of metal (like a two foot rod) was left in the passenger seat. I reserved 12 furniture pads/mats two weeks in advance and received NONE. I've used u-haul several times and my previous experiences were fine. This one was a joke.
EUGENE BROWNEmployee didn't verify the amount of gas on the vehicle from previous operator and I ended up getting charged extra even though I filled the gas back up to where it was when I rented the vehicle. Car was driven for only 8 miles and it does not consume 1/8 of gas from the car. Place is misleading would never go back to this location again.
Chuck CaoThe lady only give me 35 miles to go one way about 87 miles. Which makes no sense. When I return the truck they charged me extra 51 miles. While it's not my fault it's the lady's fault, by just giving me 35 miles. She did not take the address where I'm going with the truck to go pick up the stuff and where I'm taking the stuff to Scranton she only takes the dropped off location for the truck.which is not fair to me. I want my refund back.

joy lofstromA specific drop off area to park and lock the uhual. I wasn't sure where to leave it and I didn't lock it incase it had to be moved out of the way.

Peter SolowayThis location is fantastic. They go through all they can to insure your experience is awesome. Navigating through the U-Haul website is troubling for anyone not only at that location but at many. What a shame it is for them to make sure that the experience is a good one. Even I had a lot of problems on my phone and computer with the U-Haul website.

CHRISTIAN CASTILLOThe online check in system was absolutely terrible and and took 25 minutes for me to be able to pick up the truck. Sitting outside the truck and then they had to call my husband to confirm that if I returned the truck late I'd be charged. Then the mileage was off and I'd by 11 000 miles and tried to over charge me when I only went 4 miles.

Brian PokornyWith our truck I had ordered 4 dozen blankets. When I was checking out I asked the lady where my blankets were she said I dont have any blankets. So I have movers coming in an hour and have no blankets for all my furniture. Thanks!!!!!
Daniel StabinskiI will never use triple A storage and uhaul company again. The lady at the front desk did not know what she was doing. I reserved the truck and need supplies and when I arrived they did not have any of the supplies. This was unacceptable because I had to go to another location to get the supplies and I have to be late for the moving men from moving.com
Tyrel DixonI rented a follow they did not have it. I asked for straps they did not have it. Told me 30 cents extra mile...charged more. I asked unlimited mileage told me no.
Danielle EllisI reserved the truck with furniture pads days in advance. There should be someone overseeing this process to ensure that the requested equipment is available at the time of the rental. I was forced to move a house full of furniture without pads, this was a serious inconvenience. The lady who took care of me showed little remorse. Very displeased with this experience.

felicita baezI was required to leave the truck with a quarter tank of gas. I left it with half a tank. It would have been nice for U-Haul to a) credit me for the gas or 2) not charge me for the $2,75 for miles over. Perhaps just asking people to leave it full would be better.
Heather BowmanThe receptionist argued with me that the gas wasn't at the level I received it, when it clearly was. Not sure if she needs glasses but I filled the truck up to the level of gas I received it and was not going to pay almost $11 because someone thought the level was just slightly under when it wasn't. Absolutely ridiculous since there are fewer lines on the fuel gauge than on the paper confirmation I received with the gas level so for her to tell me it's not EXACTLY at a certain level is absurd. Terrible service, just ridiculous I've never had to argue with anyone like that. To avoid these problems in the future, the fuel gauge should always be on full. Then there won't be any questions if the customer refilled to the appropriate level. But it's very very unlikely that I will rent with Uhaul again or recommend to anyone after this ridiculous experience.

JUNE SANABRIAThe truck was not cleaned out and the gas tank was said to be full when in fact it was about 4 gallons low but I didn't realize it until I filled it the first time.

Robert FettenI've rented two u-hauls in the last several weeks and both experiences were absolutely miserable. The trucks I reserved and that were confirmed were not where they were promised to be, I was overcharged for mileage, had to drive an hour out of my way both times, your representatives are ill-informed and have trouble with your online reservation program, and the entire experience, both times, unprofessional, unreliable, stressful, and undependable. Your district representative in Wilkes Barre Pa was rude, inconsiderate, uncaring, and lied to me regarding the concessions she said she would make. Overall, a miserable experience both times.

ROBERT FETTENFirst off the road leading into the facility is a dirt road with extremely large pot holes. Second, the attendant was 20 mins late in opening her shop which put me and the people helping me move behind schedule, third the cab smelled like an ashtray. I don't smoke so I had to drive with the windows open. Ashes scattered all over the floor of the cab and fourth the attendant never came with me to check on the truck, ie: gas, mileage or condition of the back. I have rented many many Uhauls in the last several years and this was by far the most aggravated I have ever been. Today I rented another truck from another location and they were much more professional. Uhaul needs to step up their game.

Linda B CodinaI believe it is important to disclose upfront all fees. I did not anticipate paying an additional $50 for, Insurance, Environmental and more than 6 % for sales tax. I anticipated the $19,95 and mileage, but not the rest. Estimating $45 is a far cry different than $93.00. Be honest and upfront. It is a better business practice.
Florence ChaillaThe truck was vandalized and the gas line was cut and all gas was syphoned out ... car broke down while in use - We lost 3 1/2 hours of our day, stuck on the side of a highway. There was no help/assistance provided by this rental location other than provide the 800 #. Additionally, there was NO financial consideration given for this very very poor experience with UHaul - would not recommend to anyone, would suggest they try Budget instead

Gene KredensorIt had snow about 2 days prior to the day of truck reservation. The morning that I picked the truck up, I am the one who had to clean the snow off the truck and pull it out of the area that it had be snow plowed into. Did not think that was quite right, I thought the truck should have been ready for me.
Dennis RimmeyThe first truck we were given had a crack in the windshield which spread causing us to delay the move and pick up another truck. The agent was 1/2 late in opening store. She gave us a second truck -- which would not start. The third truck we were given worked but had less than 1/2 tank of gas at the start of the job. Overall very poor experience.
