You need more locations like Oberlin, Kansas best location ever

Get rid of the robot phone crap but that will never happen since the new AI will take over the world soon anyway and the whole world will be slaves to the AI and mankind will be done away with. deane gVery unprofessional. Agent allowed someone else to use truck after I returned it and is now trying to charge me for the the mileage they drove and the fuel they used as well as what I had already driven and used. Avoid renting from this location if at all possible.

Jaci PMy whole overall experience with uhaul was bad this was the 4th location they changed my reservation too and i was not happy at all the oberlin location was nice she did her best and that was amazing but u haul themselves this was truely the worse experience ive ever had and ill probably never use uhaul again

ROBERTO AThe man at the rental location was extremely rude on the phone. When i made my reservation, i requested an appliance dolly to assist with my move. The dolly was not in the truck and the man did not want to meet with me in person because he was feeling ill. Nobody was present when i arrived to get my truck. I booked a truck from the location in colby, and was notified AFTER my online reservation was made that i would have to retrieve the truck from Oberlin. The representative advised that there would be no additional cost for this change. The contract that was left for me in the truck showed my credit card being charged for these miles anyway. When i called for clarification, i was met with hostility and told that the previous rep had been with the company for over 20 years, and never would have told me that. This experience with uhaul added a ton of stress to an already stressful move. I am 100 % dissatisfied with this experience.

Lisa WI had to travel an hour just to pick up the truck because they couldn't get it to the u-haul location in my own town. wouldn't have been that big of a deal except u-haul didn't give me a gas allowance or re-imbursement, they just gave me an extra 80 miles on my trip allowance. (big whoop). Had I had another option at that point I would have taken it. Then I had also paid at the time of booking for the truck, as well as an appliance dolly and furniture pads. when I picked up the truck, I was informed by the guy that he doesn't have any of those and that I'd have to take it up with u-haul. mind you, this was already paid for in advance. (if you cant even make it convenient to pick up the truck, the least u-haul could do is make sure I have the equipment that I had already paid for).

Rosemary GI wanted a trailer and got a huge truck which cost me more money. If I can't get the equipment that I need, it's not worth my while choosing you next time.
Julie RThe cost of the rental was $40 higher than published online and we never received a confirmation of amount paid after setting up the order. This was different than the other times we've use U-Haul. On the previous orders we knew the exact price going in.

Douglas FThe truck was unsafe and shook at 60 mph. The area manager of Kansas Dean is rude and trys to start confrontations over the phone. He likes to scream at the customers and then hang up on them. The higher up managers absolutely refuse to call you back and talk to you about the situation that's going on. They just refer back to Dean.

DAVE MHave the truck size that was reserved instead of the smaller truck with trailer & requiring us to make 2 trips as a result. Then your dealer wouldn't rent a 2nd trailer because he was going to the lake. It was the worst service ever.
Kevin BOur RV broke down while my daughter and I were enroute from Bremerton, WA. We had her horse in tow to Tulsa, Ok for the Pinto World Show. Uhaul'S truck enabled us to continue to the competition and arrive on time safely. My daughter then finished in the Top5 in six events and won two World Championships! Thank you Uhaul :)

Craig FIt's the only uhaul location in 50 miles. I always go to the location in McCook to rent equipment because Scottis so much more helpful than the owner or whatever he is in Oberlin.

Vicki HNothing. This is northwest Kansas. Here "you get it our way or you don't f#%&ing get it at all." That's the attitude. It isn't going to change.

GARY GMr. Harms was utterly professional throughout our interactions. Oberlin has been the best UHaul dealer we have ever used.
Gary GThe Oberlin location is the closest in a lot of miles hence the recommendation. The trailer lights requires some wiggling to get the connectors working properly.

elizabeth wOwner did not know how to run the system, had used trailer to move personal car and forgot to take it out of system, and truck had oil leak and broken windshield before it left the lot. Luckily the windshield cracked out in a none driving area.

JUSTIN LThere is not always someone at this facility because it is also a local Towing operation. However, because of this fact, the manager/owner was very helpful in giving us specific instructions as to the process of dropping the moving truck off after hours. I was very appreciative of him taking the time to explain this to me, and it helped put my mind at ease about leaving the truck and equipment "after hours".

JESSICA SWe would recommend this location because it is the only one in town. We received several calls saying we hadn't ret'd the truck when we had ret'd it 2 days earlier. Owner was very helpful. Location was very dirty.
JANICE CWe could not remove the need for furniture pads from the order as we did not take any or need any. The computer program needs to be updated so this can be listed correctly.

JoAnn SChuck @ ASC was very helpful and I couldn't have asked for greater help. YOu are very lucky to have him as a U-Haul representative. The only drawback was that I had to drive 60 add'l miles from the pickup of the truck to get the trailer.
