Returning the equipment was a nightmare, app wasn't working and had to be on the phone for over 1 hr in sub zero weather . After returning the equipment, I received another call from uhaul if I returned the vehicle. I was supposed to be getting a call back from regional manager which I'm yet to receive. Highly disappointed.

Five things. 1. Pick-up in Yorkton, SK, they closed for lunch and due to bad timing due to traveling over 300 km to get there on our part, we arrived just as they were closing at noon for picking up the unit. The secretary graciously stayed the extra 10 minutes to get our paperwork authorized, asked if we had 4-pin connector on our truck, I confirmed, then we went out to find the trailer and she left and locked the door behind her; everybody else had already gone for lunch. 6-stars for her leniency on us for our delay. 2. The 6x12 covered trailer we rented is a double-axle unit, can't be pivoted on a single axle to lift onto the hitch. Luckily my husband is strong like mule but nearly got his 6th hernia lifting the hitch off the ice frozen, downward-slant ground to get raise it barely just enough to rest elevated above the ball on our DROP hitch on the truck (no lift tools handy). The only way I could keep it in place while connecting was to steal a rotten 2x4 lying nearby to use as a lever under the tongue to brace it in the air while Husband backed up. We were not informed we would need some kind of mechanical assist and there was not one in the parking lot. 0 stars for the unsafe unassisted attaching. 3. The connector pin on the trailer is intentionally short and wired/secured immediate to the side of the tongue frame and DOES NOT extend or pull out. It was at least 2 feet SHORT to the truck; hence, ILLEGAL to drive. The extension was likely retained by the previous renter and not returned with the unit. We were mad because we have a 4-foot 4-pin extension at home and could have brought it had we known. By now, we were inventing new swear words, resigning ourselves to unhooking the trailer and go to nearby C.Tire to buy one when an employee drove onto the lot. Flagged him down and he helped us acquire one off another trailer on their back lot. We attached it, all lights worked, we electrical taped the connection together to ensure it was secure, and drove off. 0 stars for no wire extension. 5 stars for extremely helpful employee. 4. The front of the trailer was full of dirty ice from the previous user's highway travels and we picked it up with the front filthy. Not a functional thing, and the weather was freezing at -21C so even if they had washed the outside, it would have been coated in ice anyway. The inside was totally clean and the unit itself body-wise and mechanically was in top condition and maintained other than the electrical issue. 5. Dropping the trailer off in Saskatoon on Millar Avenue at 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday was easy. Staff on hand after hours for returns. Definitely recommend this location. I wish this review allowed for pictures. I took some.

The trailer was dirty but it still worked great. I would strongly recommend U-Haul.

When a customer orders something, actually provide it. Seems simple and yet somehow I need to explain that. And don't ignore and hang up on customers. Again should be obvious but here we are.

Photo don't upload when doing self return. Very frustrating took almost 90 mins to get it to work. All parking area for trucks was muddy and confusing as to where to leave truck

Vehicle was not available for guaranteed time for pick up. Was called when I was nearly there to pick up my rental. And not given a straight answer as to where or when I would get my truck for the day I needed it. Very poor customer service and very dirty truck. I would not recommend uhaul at all to anyone anymore.

There were none of the extra things I needed at this location, just the trailer. I needed a 4wheel dolly and some moving blankets but there weren't any.

The truck was very dirty inside, it smelled badly of oil as there were used oil rags on the floor on the passenger side and it was a 4 hour drive to the town I needed the U-Haul in (as they didn't have any uhauls for my where I lived), so that was gross to have to smell. They didn't read the contract before hand and didn't have a Dollie available, but I was charged for one. I had to call U-Haul 3 times to get the charge reversed, then had to take time away from work to run around town in the city I lived in to rent one.

I booked my truck a month in advance to be picked up at the Uhaul depot in my town. Only to have Uhaul call me, 2 days prior to pickup and moving day, to say I would have to drive 3,5 hours to another province to get it. And then the only truck they could arrange was still 1,75 hours away one-way. It was better and they did give me an extra day, extra KM and reduction in my rental fee, however, I had to take a day off work to make this work short notice. And I could only pick it up with help of my father in law driving with me in a personal vehicle (maintenance and gas costs return trip home). This was poorly done as uhaul had lots of time to give me better notice or they should have been able to get a truck here on their personal time and dime.

Gentlemen was helpful helping me hook up dolly. I had a follow up call when I first booked so that was great. no complaints. Was great experience.

Everything was good. One thing you could have listed is the inside measurement. We took it to pick up a garden door and it just so fit. If we would have had a measurement we would have been sure it would fit.

The not many of UHaul trucks of variant sizes are availible in different sizes. We had to use a much larger truck then needed. More smaller ones could be brought in for the company.

Took forever to complete rental agreement, over an hour. Uhaul database showed car trailer was not in inventory for this location. Even though 2 car trailers were on the lot. Had to call 4 different Uhaul corporate service reps to change status. Local agent was quite helpful. Corporate Uhaul not so much

There wasn't a hitch jack on the trailer, had to find someone to help hook up. Seems like u-haul should have one available.

No available personnel to discuss and close out rental. Final charges not explained. Complaint sent as truck was supposed to be ready in melfort which was over an hour away to find out there was no truck. Needed to complain to area rep to find truck in saskatoon. A almost 2 hour drive. Wasted 5 hours to get truck to little to no compensation. Terrible experience. Will look elsewhere

Had booked a 6x12 trailer then was told day before not available had to take a 5x8. Then was going to leave it at the location that was moving to after I picked it up was called to tell me couldn't leave it there as I guess they were nolonger a dealer. Then told to take it an hour out of my way ended up taking it back to original dealer and overcharged for the whole process. Very poor communication and knowledge of what they are doing.

Have a better backup plan if for someone a customer has trouble having access to internet. (Not a critique of the location a critique of uhaul) sending them to a another location is a complete joke and not fair to the customer

Very easy pick up and drop off. Customer service was great with answering my questions. Inside the truck was relatively clean. The air freshener was pretty over whelming the truck smelt like a strong musky scent covering up cigarette. Might not have been smoked in previously but smelt like it. There was no padlock nor trolly just keys for the truck. I will use this service again and recommend others to use.

I paid for it and one hour later found out that I didn't need it so I returned it 1 and a half hour later to the Uhaul lot . So I didn't use it , I phoned Uhaul to let them know that I didn't use it and was looking to get a refund . The gentleman that answered the phone at your head office was getting some to call regarding a refund . As of now there has been no call to me from the Uhaul people. So needless to say I'm not impressed and you ask me about my experience, I guess we will see what kind of people Uhaul is all about once I get this so called return call . Ask me a couple of weeks from now what I think after I get the call from one of your Uhaul people that is if I get one . Let's see how Uhaul treats their customers ?

have a spare tire on the trailer... put a down reimbursable fee for it. my son got 20 miles down the road and a tire blew. also would be handy if there was a jack!! i know the reason they dont do this is because some people are thieves, but for honest ones it is a bit of a pain. totally understand your reasons. thank you.

A&S was great we had no problems the employees or location. Our issue is with Uhaul as a whole they screwed us over again for the 3rd time we booked a truck 3 weeks in advance 2 days before they requested I call regarding the reservation. They didn't have a truck the one we booked was given to someone else, no other trucks were availiable at the location we selected or the 2 nearest cities and we then had to use a 5x8 trailer. Not impressed with them as they could have notified us sooner then 2 days before as our move was time sensitive but then again we didn't have a choice in where to rent. The kicker when we went to pick up our trailer the truck we had originally looked to book was there and the person who received it instead of us said and I quote that's not the truck I wanted it's too big. We think this has to due with the fact that they were going 332km while we were only going 110. Just a thought. Overall our experience with Uhaul as a whole not so great again. All I have to say is give people more than 2 days notice if the truck they reserved is not available as it's gone to someone else that way people can make different arrangements .

How does one improve on perfection!? Seriously, the staff are amazing, they explain everything thoroughly and always asked if I had any questions.

I think the lady deserves a comfortable space such as an office. I witnessed her serve a customer ahead of me and she worked really hard. She had so much on her hands and she handled it well. There looks like lots of space in the complex/garage. She deserves something more comfortable to make it much easier for her.
