Have better equipment as the junk you provided was unsafe and unreliable. I spoke to the 800 number and lodged a complaint. Reference number 5192670. The we were over charged for fuel as we had receipts. The agents were not helpful.

Didn't know what they was doing never got the printout of order/receipt. Then tried to charge my card for some reason without my knowledge.
CHAD C24/7 rental pickup is not available at this location. Website says it was available. This location closes early

JOSE VAt the pick up location, nobody could help me getting dispatched had to call customer service three different times with very little help. I will not be using U-Haul or recommending it to anybody again.

KEVON MThe folks at the Yemasee location were extremely helpful. My complaint is with U-Haul moving the pick-up location 37-miles away and not having the truck I reserved. U-Haul needs to make this right. I recently rented a U-Haul truck in Lady's Island, SC to move my home. The reservation several days in advance to be sure a truck would be available. This location is walking distance from the house and the service there is exceptional. Later I received and update that was not as convenient but definitely acceptable. An update to your order has been made. We have a 26' Moving Van reserved for you and guaranteed Thursday, 8/29/2024 at 9:00 AM, returning Friday, 8/30/2024 at 9:00 AM. We are located at 1555 SALEM RD and our phone number is (843) 593-9163. Unfortunately, the moving van was not there as promised and I was told the closest 26-ft van was in Varnville, SC which my GPS says is 37-miles away. This was ridiculous but I had no choice because I had to move that day and I had help for the move. I drove the 37-miles in my F-350 diesel which gets 15 mpg to pick up the 26-ft truck. • Well, the 25-ft truck had no air conditioning and with the heat index and humidity the reported temperature was over 100-degrees and the U-Haul dealer said he couldn't rent me that truck. We tried a second 26-ft truck but the starter was broken. Finally, I had to settle for a smaller truck because it was the only option left. The larger truck was big enough to move all my furniture and the smaller truck has 40 % less cargo space. The 26-ft truck interior volume is 1 682 cu. ft. and the 20-ft truck inter volume is 1 016 cu. ft. using U-Haul's published interior volume for each truck. • After a notable amount of wasted time I then drove the 37-miles back to Ladys Island to start packing. By this time it was late afternoon and more than half of our working day was over. We packed all we could fit in the smaller truck and drove 59-miles to Walterboro, SC and unloaded the furniture. At this point is was too late to make a second trip and I had to take my helper back to his home in Mount Pleasant SC. I am not sure which route we took because my GPS chooses the quickest route. The most direct route is 62-miles and U-Haul can verify from their tracking the actual distance. My helper graciously allowed me to stay at his house so we could get an early start to finish the move. The drive from Mount Pleasant to Ladys Island is 78-miles. • We packed were tired and took our time packing and get everything done then drove the 59-miles back to Walterboro and unloaded. We took our time to arrange the furniture since I had a second set of hands to help. We then drove 32-miles to Varnville and returned the smaller U-Haul Truck. • I filled the tank and left the truck with slightly move fuel than it had when we picked it up. U-Haul said "We have a 26' Moving Van reserved for you and guaranteed Thursday, 8/29/2024 at 9:00 AM" That was not the case and I was sent 37-miles out of my way to pick up a truck that was not what was promised and 40 % smaller. I lost over half a day just to pick up a truck along with my added personal fuel cost. The 20-ft U-Haul truck was unable to move all of the possessions in one trip like the larger truck requiring a second trip and a second day. All the while I'm being charged a second day of rental and mileage for the added joy of this experience.
ROGER GI dropped the trailer off the same day it was rented, but since it was a holiday weekend they didn't check it till Tuesday. They charged me for two extra days. Completely unprofessional.

Wilton MI did NOT drop off at this location and never would have arranged to do so. My reservation was messed up after I picked up the vehicle.
Vannessa WI could not return the trailer early, finished with it friday evening and wanted to return it saturday, called and was told that I could not return it until monday, they do not take uhauls on weekend. causing me to pay for 2 more days. and the 800 uhaul # does not have an option for returning uhauls. had to go like i was making a new reservation so that I could talk to someone.

MURRIEL WOur reservation was with Monster Truck Storage, Walterboro. The Cargo Van we had a reservation for was not there Monday morning. They offered the 15' truck but that was too big for our needs. They helped us locate a 10' truck in Varnville. It was out of the way but the service at the Varnville location was worth it. I appreciate their help. We were behind schedule the rest of the day but the pleasant experience in Varnville eased the frustration. Merci.
