I rent from this location any time I need a truck rental (4 times over the last few years). I have had amazing customer service with them every time! The only thing that could be improved was the condition of the truck we recently rented. The rubber seal around the passenger door was hanging off and completely coming out of the door. Maybe repair things like that before renting it out to the next customer. Aside from that, everything was great as always!

The service from ABC pools was good however the return process was ridiculous. I attempted to sign into the online portal three times to no success. I stood in front of ABC pools for over a hour on the phone to confirm the returned truck. I received no confirmation the truck was returned and lastly I was charged for 40 miles of usage when in fact I traveled 14 miles. Bad experience.

Although we declined the use of a dolly and moving blankets, they were included in the truck “just in case”. They actually took up floor space that we paid for and did impede the loading of some of our stuff. I get it-U-Haul is hoping for that last minute change of mind. But we declined the options and I don’t appreciate them being included anyway.

Experience was frustrating. Had to provide a secondary number and she (uhaul rep) had to call to make sure it is real. So dumb. I disturbed people at work because she had to make the call. Also, I asked prior if dolly and blankets will be provided. Rep failed to tell me it was additional cost. So dumb and misleading. Next time, be upfront with customers and set right expectations. Also, don't hassle the customer of a telephone number in which you have to verify. It makes the customer uneasy and experience a hassle/frustrating.

My pickup location was changed the day before to this location. I was scheduled to pickup at 8:30 am at a 24 hour location and was switched to this location without being notified that it was not 24 hour. I then proceeded to talk to 2 more associates on the phone who also did not inform me of this mistake and just pushed my appointment times back by 15 minutes as if this would fix it. It wasn't until my 3rd call back that identified that I need to wait until 10:00 when someone would be physically present to check me in. It then took another 30 minutes to check in and get my truck as it was stuck behind several others which the staff could not initially find the keys to.

Having to "guess" how much gas to put in the truck to come up to 3/4 full. This is the 2nd truck I've rented, the first time I over estimated and filled the tank. The second time they said it didn't come up to the 3/4 mark (almost touching) when I picked up the truck the gauge was was barely touching. so over *$8 charge for a part of a gallon when the last time I filled it. (not even a thank you)

I had rented the truck out for 24hrs, but I dropped off the truck early the next morning at the request of the rental site because the truck was scheduled to be rented out again at 9:30am. I got a call at 8:30 saying they were having trouble running my card. I checked my account and my card was fine. I called them back and they berated me—threatened to charge me more money cause I technically hadn’t “returned it yet” and told me I was screwing over the person who was renting it next. At 9:30 my card miraculously worked. I’m not claiming any kind of conspiracy, but I definitely think it could’ve been handled with more tact.

I was told to bring back the truck by 8:30 PM because it is reserved for 6 AM rental in the next morning. I receive a call at 5:30 PM demanding the truck to be returned and she ends up hanging up on me. Even though the truck was returned with gas refueled, they still charge me for extra 2.5 gallons. I would definitely go somewhere else next time.

Employees were rude . I needed information on the exact measurements of a vehicle so I could ensure I would reserve the right vehicle for my needs. I phoned the store and asked if someone could quickly measure the length of the bed of a vehicle (they are parked 10 yards from the door of the store. The first person I spoke to was so thick it took 30minutes to explain the concept of actual measurements, even then he could not figure it out. A girl from the store then called me back and told me “we,re a pool store, we don’t have time to measure a vehicle. You will have to come here and do it yourself.” Not acceptable! If this place wants to benefit from being a U-Haul franchisee then they should be willing to do a minimal amount of work! The girl was super rude and obnoxious. If it weren’t for the location, which is convenient for me I would never have used them. They were the worst! The van also was filthy and smelled like an ashtray. I was miserable having to be in the vehicle. Never again. Will definitely Yelp about how bad this experience was.

Treat your customers as you would like to be treated. Train your employees who are dealing with the public to not insult the customers Teach your team members to treat customers not as if you're doing them a favor by allowing them to rent a U-Haul.

The van I rented was very dirty. I could barely see out of the windows. At minimum, the front windshield should have been wiped down prior to releasing the vehicle to a customer.

The truck I rented had some dings and scratches that had clearly not been marked. When I first went to pick up the truck I filled out all the paperwork and was simply given the keys. There wasn't a walkthrough to ensure all damage had been marked. Upon returning the truck, there was different person working the counter. She went out and checked the gas gauge and did a once over the truck to see if there was any damage on the truck. She can in and said it looked like I had put some damage on the truck. I corrected her and said I had not put any damage on the truck. She asked if a walkthrough was done beforehand and I said no. She the preceded to say that every truck has all their damage marked but that even if I had put the damage on there, I had the insurance so it didn't matter. I know for a fact that no damage came to that truck while I was driving it. Maybe they missed the damage the last time the truck was returned and are trying to put in claims for the damge through their insurance company now.

I frequently rent trucks from uhaul and am fairly used to the process of renting a truck when you purchase the insurance. Upon completing the rental agreement, the employee assisting me made an unusually big deal about let me know the top wasn't covered by the insurance and to really check the truck for damage. When I went outside to look at the truck, the top was scraped, scuffed and dented pretty much all the way around with very minimal amounts of damage indicators on the truck. I asked the employee whether this damage was important and she said she would mark some of it and I was good to go. Having never had an issue before, I took her word for it. I drove approximately 10 miles down the same large street they are located on (5 miles each way) for the entire trip. The middle school I work for is on the same street and we were loading band equipment. Upon returning, the same employee immediately told me that the top of the uhaul (the roof) had damage that was not there previously. Knowing that I definitely did not hit or scrape anything, I immediately refuted her claim. After approximately 30 minutes of debating, looking at cameras in their facility, and having an employee climb on top of the uhaul, it was determined I did not cause the damage and it was there previously. I was VERY concerned that the employee immediately knew where to look for this "damage." When we observed the truck before renting, it was parked in a way that this damage would have been IMPOSSIBLE to see (need to be at least 15- 20 ft away on the passenger side to see it on top of the truck) It absolutely felt like she was trying to intentionally charge me for damage that she previously knew was there.

Horrible experience the dolly I rented was not put in the back of the truck. I had to go back to the location and put the refrigerator dolly in my personal vehicle. And all I got was a apology it was my fault U did t check to see if the dolly was in the truck.
