This location, for what it is, was excellent. It is a smaller local dealer. However, their customer service was great, as they made accommodations to fit my needs as best they could, as well as gave special contact information in case there were any troubles, I could call the manager directly anytime day or night. The rental was quick and easy and the return check-in process was a breeze. I highly recommend this location to anybody needing medium to small box trucks and sometimes they have trailers too. Always eager to please here, so give them a call. Thank you, Absolute Self Storage on Maddox St.

The uhaul location was sketchy and I was over charged for several things. I have rented a uhaul before and the gas tank is always full and you refill before bringing it back. This gas tank was under half a tank. The man told me to fill the truck to under half a tank because that is how I received it so I did. When I received my final bill not only was I over charged mileage yet they charged me for a full tank of gas. When I picked the truck up they were literally sweeping what looked like a homeless camp from the back of the truck. The people that ran the storage company where I picked the truck up looked like they were all on drugs. The uhaul truck sounded as if it does not have a muffler it was making a horrible noise. I was pressed for time so I took what I could get, being that I made a reservation to receive TRASH. Not only that but I was I believe criminally overcharged. I believe the company that your uhaul is being rented from uses that truck and charged me for their joy rides and drug runs. I want my money back or I will be filing a police report. What I experienced was fraudulent.

I have tried to reach someone by phone and have not been able to get through. I was overcharged for my rental of July 29, 2022. My contract was prepaid and said I was allowed 91 miles included. My final mileage was 109 miles and I was charged for 109 miles instead of 18. Since I prepaid I should have only been charged for the miles over 91, which would have been $18.00. I was also told by the manager where I picked the truck up that I should return it with 1/8th a tank of gas since that is what I received it with. I did and still was charged for gas. Also I was charged another $40 and $14 dollars where the charge reads Extra Day (0 day @ 40/day) and another coverage of 14.00. I only had the truck for one day and was not told anything about an extra day charge for any reason.

I had a hole in the uhaul gas tank when I got home. Delayed my move for a day and had to call fire truck for the leak. Trish at this location was awesome. She was very sympathetic and went above and beyond to help me the next day. I would give her 5 stars even though there were unexpected events.

The nice lady at the Maddox U-Haul (and I'm afraid I can't remember her name) was super-friendly, professional and helpful. When we quickly returned the 5'x8' enclosed trailer because it was too heavy for our vehicle, she let us swap it for an open trailer, which worked out well. We made it to Austin with no problem. An excellent experience, thanks, U-Haul!

When I set up the reservation I reserved a furniture dolly when I showed up to get the truck there was no dolly and no effort to get one . I rented a 26 ft truck to move a 3 bedroom house and a 40x40 shop . I know y'all don't care how I was going move it without a dolly I guess it's my problem . So I wasted 2 hours trying to locate one . Some one called me from uhaul saying all I wanted was a free move and for Uhaul to give me my money back . I still have the message if you are interested in it. I do NIT want money I was trying to inform you the your customer service could be better . Trust me when I say I will let everyone I know hoe Uhaul doesn't care about helping you move Uhaul is in it for the money .

Hi, Sad to say this was my worst Uhaul rental experience. I originated a rental online and thought everything was going to go smoothly and great, like my past experiences. Unfortunately I get a call the day before I am to pick up my rental and told it was not available and then had to get switched to two different locations before knowing I would get the truck I needed. The location was a bit out of the way but okay, not a problem. The problem was that there was no dolly available and was not told this until I showed up. I was unable to load a fridge and two other huge outdoor plants which I've owned for over 15 years. I was not pleased. Also the truck was dirty inside as if food and drinks were spilt and not clean. I sent attached photos that day online and wish I could have included more pictures. Greatly disappointed with the service.

No improvements needed. Trisha or Trish i believe is her name, was so wonderful and understanding she helped me a lot and took some stress off my load. Job well done. I would recommend this location to any and everyone. I give 100 stars if I could. Merci.
