System error kept me at the counter for over a half hour. Store manager was helpful but clearly frustrated with the system. Upon returning the trailer the kid asked if I needed help unloading. So I unhitched it myself.

It was already excellent. Staff was courteous, kind, and pleasant to work with. The ACE hardware shop where this is located is clean and well-maintained. It is easy-to-access and was open later than many other Uhaul offices. All-around, it was a good experience.

I had to go to this location because my original reservation had been cancelled because I was outside of the 2 hour pickup window. The problem is, I knew nothing about the 2 hour window. I had done the pre-pickup registration and received a message that you are all ready to go. I assumed that because of this pre-registration, I could pick up the vehicle when I wanted to. Failure on your part to notify me of the 2 hour window proved to be very, very time consuming, frustrating and very inconvenient.

Overall a solid location to rent from and a decent experience. I had the trailer for 24.75 hours and was charged for two full days rental. I intentionally picked it up at the end of the day Thursday, +/` an hour, as I knew I'd be dropping it off at the end of the day Friday. A grace period of an hour on a daily rental would go a long way toward endearing U-Haul to its customer base. The connecting chains were also connected in a way that caused them to drag for a majority of the trip. I'd simply ask that more care be extended when connecting future trailers.

Do Not Charge eight dollars a gallon for gas in the U-Haul Trucks We drove 20 miles and were charged an extra sixteen dollars for gas Outrages - This is what U-Haul wants to charge and they do not care how the Customer Feels

When we picked the vehicle up, we had to wait almost an hour just to get the truck and go. When we got to our destination to load our things, we opened the back and it smelled so bad of bleach/cleaning supplies we could hardly breathe. It was not a very good experience.

It seemed that the Ace Hardware store manager was the only staff person available/permitted to assist Uhaul customers. There were several other customers and employees who also needed his attention, so I had a bit of a wait, both when I picked up the truck and when I returned it. The store manager and other staff were very pleasant and made it clear that I wasn't being overlooked or forgotten, but it would have been helpful to have another person on hand to assist with the check out/in process.

When I showed up to pick up my rental at 9:00 they couldn't find my information in the system. I showed them my confirmation email with their address but they had to re enter all of my order in again. They also didn't have the 10 foot truck that I originally wanted so I was stuck with a 15 foot truck which made me uncomfortable driving. This process took over 45 minutes since their system also froze up and I was unable to get a contract. I HAD to leave to pick up my order of girl scout cookies that I was already late for. Because I wasn't the first in line like I originally signed up for the uhaul rental for, I had to wait over 2 hours in line. When I took the truck back I noticed that it only had a half of a tank of gas. I ended up paying over $40 to fill it. All in all pretty upset about the whole experience and will not be renting from uhal in the future.

Truck leaked fluid on my brand new driveway. Expressed concern to UHaul representative and he didn't seem to care. He offered no type of refund, cleaning, etc. Just said I'll look at it.

I enjoyed my experience. With ace hardware u haul it was peice full and easy. My only thing is the trucks really need repair. My unit had dings tears in it when I picked it up. It had a bad shake over 35 had a hard pull to the left. I'm glad I only had to drive that thing local. But all in all I was able to do my work and get it done. Thanks

There was a short in the trailer wiring that I rented. Blew 3 fuses and proceeded to melt the wiring harness to my turn signal switch causing smoke to rise from my steering column and I'm sure nearly detonating the airbag in my face. The part, which costs $200, I'm sure will cost just as much to have installed. All of this occurred to my daily driver today. I will never be back, ever. Maybe the Uhaul rep should be a little less interested in whether my 10k lbs capacity trailer hitch can haul a 5'x9' utility trailer and a little more concerned with whether or not your equipment is functional or not.

Make sure the equipment maintenance is done before it is rented. It was missing a safety pin and left tail lamp didn't work. The staff took good care of me and fixed the problem to their ability. I will be back in the future.

Easy process and great communication. Keep it up :) Door of trailer was pretty dirty from inside, and got some stains on a few of our linens, but our own fault for not protecting them better.

Nothing needs improved with the Ace hardware, however, and I'm sure you've heard it before, advertising a truck for $29.95 is, very simply, deceptive. For that price, I'm allowed to open the door and sit in it. Who would ever need to do just that? Clearly it's for moving. So a per-mile charge, an "environmental fee", insurance, and filling up the tank again. $100!! I'm sure "that's just how it is." And I doubt you care much anyway. But yeah, the hardware store was great.

Equipment is old and beat up. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only major concern is your insurance policies. You only option besides taking the purchased insurance is to have thousands of dollars of cash on hand, which few people do. You need to allow people to use their own private insurance if it covers rentals like mine does. From now on, I will have to factor the cost of the insurance in with your trucks when I compare to other rental agencies. I doubt you will win much repeat business from me as a result.
