Customer service representative was rude and mean on the phone. She even said she was the manager. She needs better training. You should offer credit towards upgrades when already paid for. Will never use uhaul again after this experience. So very disappointed.

Employee needs customer service training YESTERDAY. He was rudely dismissive. After telling me he "needed to finish this first" then 10 min later "I'm busy," I tossed the key on the counter and asked that he email my receipt. UNACCEPTABLE.

You need to maintain your vehicles. The air conditioning did not work. The steering was just awful on the unit. The headlights were very dim dangerous at night and the front end has problems probably ball - joints or something .Vehicle was dangerous to drive.It will be a cold day in August before I ever rent from UHaul again.

I had to move all my stuff with no AC in the truck at AC problem the air conditioner was not cold I'd let him know who is the manager at Ace hardware and I was kicked out of the store miss treated extremely bad in front of customers I even have a recording video I was threatened by him kicked out and threatened by police for no reason because I told him that the AC did not work he immediately kicked me out of store

The gas in the truck was completely empty on the empty line when I picked it up. I'm just glad I made it to the gas station without running out but it was definitely but fumes. I've never had that happen before but I've always rented from a UHaul location and this is the first third party I've rented from. The steering wheel was almost down to the metal as the rubber was almost gone lol but it was ah older truck. It wasn't cleaned and you can see layers of dirt/dust on the dash lol

This truck rented was not inspected for a mechanical issue. I rented the truck to drive to Florida from Arizona. The panel dash cover inside the truck was broken I believe which left a gap for heat to come through. The entire 2000+ miles I was in pain from the heat from the engine which seeped through. By the time I got to Florida my ankles we so swollen and burned. It was a terrible experience.

I was still charged for the rental dolly and furniture pads even though they weren't in the truck. When picking up the truck I made sure that the form I filled out said they weren't there.

I specifically wanted to use to app for check in so I didn't have to wait for the store to open and I could get an earlier jump on my moving. It took me 30 minutes to check in and then the code to the key didn't work. Called customer service and they could not help me. I was not satisfied with this at all.

The air conditioner wasn't working, the radio volume didn't work. The vehicle ran super heavy. Not a great experience at all. I called several times to speak to a manager and was hung up on. Finally spoke to a Victoria is a manager in the traffic dept which was condescending and rude! Asked why didn't I contact road side. Laughed at me when she realized I was upset. This was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul.

The process took us 2 hours! The website was overloaded and keep crashing. Customer service wait time was over 40 mins. Once the sun set we noticed that the parking lot lights were less than adequate and it felt unsafe. The truck was clean, but the extra equipment (handtrucks) that we paid for was not inside. Which meant that we had to obtain those items on our own, after the nightmare process of trying to get the truck. I will not be able to recommend UHAUL. Please advise when our refund for the missing hand-trucks will be processed?

I reserved and ordered 20 moving blankets but they were not available at this location. I was advised I could drive to another location for the blankets but that location was out of the way and since I was paying by the mile would've added additional cost plus the time to go and get them. Not good!! And the passenger side seatbelt buckle was nowhere to be found in this truck! The people in the store were friendly but not having what I ordered made it a t terrible experience.

The truck was filthy in the back I had to sweep it out. The sounds this truck made between the breaks and rattle's, I thought it was going to fall apart. Not to mention I reserved 1 dozen pads and they charged me for the pads they did not have or give me. When I asked the worker, they said that the OWNER of the store will not keep pads on site at all. Well put that in your description so that other folks that need pads don't rent from this location. The manager there moves like a slug. I will never rent from this location ever again!

I use UHAUL quite often and this was hands down the hardest 24/7 truck share experience i have had. I was very concerned the truck was going to breakdown and there was so much confusion during the check out process I was not even sure they had given me the right truck. I will never opt for that location again.

The first time we rented this location, they gave our truck away. The second time, they charged me for the highest price insurance when I specifically said I didn't want it. I also put gas in before returning and made sure it was at the correct level. They said it was at the wrong level and charged me $69 for gas. My total was over $215 for a $29 truck!! I have never paid even close to that before. I am so unhappy and now I have to worry about my families next meal. #robbed

I did not receive the truck I reserved. Uhaul called and said there were non a available but when I picked up the 20ft instead of the 26ft there were three 26ft trucks parked beside it. I didnt get the furniture pads I reserved and had to return to the store for them.

I booked online closet to my location since uhaul charges per mile. Unknown to me that my booking location was switched to a location that's 16 miles one way out of my way. I showed up at the original booking location (since I wasn't informed that my booking location changed.) ready to get the truck I requested only to be told they had no booking for me. The agent at the 3rd party location was nice enough to help me and track down my booking. She informed me that my booking location had changed and gave me the correct address to retrieve the truck from. I arrived at the new location obviously late and irritated from the situation I had just dealt with. Upon arrival at the new location I was checked in and given the key to a truck. It was explained to me that the truck currently had a certain amount of gas in it and I would have to return it with the same amount. I hop up into the truck and start it up and snapped a photo of the mileage on the dashboard and also noticed that the truck was basically out of gas as the gas needle was sitting in the red.I immediately drove down the street to the gas station and put $125 of gas in it. (That's fine I have no problem putting gas in it as I plan to drive it and use the gas.) But what pisses me off is that not only was my booking moved to a location out of my way but I then jump into a truck with no gas. Within the first few hours of having the truck I'm beyond convinced that I must've gotten the biggest piece of shit out of their entire fleet. The horn didn't work. I had two cars pull out right in front of me that I was unable to give them any warning of a possible collision has it come to that. The truck was FILTHY inside and out. Let me remind you although we aren't at the top with Covid number anymore we are STILL in a pandemic. The truck itself most likely only get probably around 8 miles per gallon and at about 50 miles per hour it starts cutting out and jumps on you like the spark plugs need replaced. Overall it was the WORST experience I've ever had with uhaul. I've rented from them a handful of times in the past. Next time I'll spend the extra money on a truck and go with Penske. I rented from them once before and got a nice CLEAN truck with no hassles on location pick up/drop off or was capped on miles. For uhaul being the kind of company it claims to be it sure was a disaster!!!!!!

The vehicle was in below poor condition. Each time I rent a uhaul the vehicle conditions seem to get worse. Then on top of everything I get charged extra for turning it in after hours. Like it was an extra expense to get the key from the key drop. Fortunately for uhaul - you have a captive audience.

The moving help option was not good. The mover we chose did not contact us and we had to keep calling. It wasn't until we got uhaul involved did they respond. Too little too late. Other than that the experience was great

I was reassigned from one location to this location. They didn't tell me till I arrived at the original location. I drove 20 mins out of my way to get to the new one. Then I go to the storage unit 20 mins away, and I couldn't even open the unit. I had to waste 200$, because the movers couldn't get into the storage unit.

The truck was damaged and made loud noise coming from the catalitic. I am not content with my experience. A police stopped me for the noise but only gave me a warning and let me go. I let the manager know the truck was making a noise but they did not check the truck before giving it to me. How could I pay for this when it was given to me already damaged. I also did not receive a chain for the dolly and I had to put it inside the truck.

We drove the truck for a total of 16 miles. Based on the recommendations in the contract, we added 1,9 gallons of fuel before returning it. When I got the reciept for my rental, they charged me for another 2 gallons of fuel. Why tell me to add the fuel if you are just going to charge me for it regardless? I know it is only $9. But in this day and age, that is desperately needed money. Outside of being robbed pf extra gas money, the service was good and the truck was nice. AC might need some work soon, but it was only 90 degrees when we had it so it did okay. It blows cold for a bit but then blows warm for a bit too. Might be uncomfortable once Temps hit 100 and higher in the valley. It also had the trailer light on for some reason.

did not get van reqested was given old dirty van and had a screw in the the diver side tire. No staff to do walk though with check in. Told to use van and screw is not a problem. Give a panel truck, dirty old box truck with food trash in cab and low on fuel. after returning box truck charged for low gas levels even after I matched fuel level given to me at time of check out. Staff at ace hardware did not care and said they cant do anything its Uhaul problem talk to them.

Ordered equipment wasn't there. No excuse, no solution. I ordered it days ago, not last minute. Truck was close to undrivable. Shaking unbelievably when going only 30mph. Vehicle wasn't cleaned, had trash from the previous people in the cabin. Definitely not again.

I was prepared for the quotes cost online and upon arrival we paid over 160 and almost a week later it's still pending since they had to charge 100 miles just in case. We only moved a mile and should have just used our vehicles.

Attendant was rude unprofessional and disinterested in providing good costumer service . Once provided proper documentation he gave me a receipt and said here is the trailer number find it and you are good to go so I said you are not coming outside with me he said what for so I ask if he would assist in the hitching process to oversee that everything was safe and well done . He stated it was not his job to which I replied “aren't you going even come out and make sure I have the right vehicle and appropriate towing equipment . He replied if you want to come to the front of the store and I'll check once it's hitched .I will admit I can do this on my own I have rented equipment from u-haul many times and they have always make sure everything is working fine lights hitch chains you name it I'm a do it yourself kind a guy but this is not something I. Work with everyday has this been a 1st timer there no way he would have done it on his own and most likely not think about going through the trouble again of renting with you guys .Even though that place it's only mile and 1/2 from my house not ever going back again there's many more places around with more professionalism and dedication to their job .

The truck we picked up was dirty inside the cabin and also the back of the truck there was sunflower seeds and pistachio shells inside the cabin there was stuff spilled on the passenger seat and on the passenger seat floor the driver side floor was also sticky when I picked up the truck the young lady at the register was very rude when I asked her for the blankets that I purchased she said they did not have them I also asked for a dolly and she said they did not have a dolly when I told her I was gonna File a complaint she just shrugged her shoulders I would not recommend this place for anyone and go to a major dealer instead
