Nothing at this location. My guy was very well mannered and informative and available for any questions I had throughout my time with my truck and all regarding any U-Haul questions, I had A+ for customer service at this location

roy cAll excellent: intelligent and (bi-lingual) conduct, equipment availability, reservation process, pick-up, customer attendance/attention, attitude, friendliness, courtesy. Owner/operator was however, uninformed about roadside assistance policy, procedures, how it works. This is a legit U-Haul offering. I believe the U-Haul rep/owner/operators should be educated/trained/conversant in ALL aspects of the U-Haul business. IMPORTANT - the trailers are NOT equipped with a spare tire. This is shockingly unacceptable. U-Haul should/must have a spare tire and lug wrench for every wheeled rental PERIOD. In the event of a flat/blowout, what would we do, just drop abandon the loaded trailer roadside and spend a half day chasing down a retail tire somewhere, then backtrack to find the trailer gone, or raided?? And not all stores even sell trailer tires. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Further, this 5x8 trailer had no crank jack. Unbelievable. Again U-Haul has the funds and budget to equip ALL trailers with a $50 swivel jack. Should we risk injuring our back to load/unload the trailer? What if we need to drop the loaded trailer? No jack? IS anyone even using common sense at U-Haul? I never suspected U-Haul was a penny pinching outfit, perhaps the company has been sold and no longer a private family firm. Other competitors ALL equip their rentals with the BASIC required hardware. EM Nov23
