The truck was not available once I arrived to the location. I was then promise a larger truck for the same price which was then also unavailable.. I ended up with a much larger truck than I needed.. which was hard to drive for a 5’2 woman.. then I was told that I had to be back by 5pm.. after I was held up at the location until after 3.. my original pick up time was 1:30. Very poor service.

The online check in did not work at all. The rented blankets were not in the truck. An employee just happened to remember that he forgot to put them in the truck and showed up to put them there. We were delayed for an hour which could have easily messed up the timing of my move because I HAD to be out by a certain time for the walk through by the new owners on the home I was leaving. If he had not HAPPENED to show up, we would have been left there not knowing what to do. I was on the 800 number with UHAUL but was on hold forever.... no one ever came on to help me...and then the employee showed up - pure happenstance. I will never ever recommend nor use that location again, and probably won't ever use UHAUL again. It was extremely stressful. Plus I had to pay movers for an extra hour, which was $175!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trailer had a flat---which I had to fix. People helping me move had to wait an hour before I got back. Cost me $10.00 to plug the flat. Rental location had NOTHING--no hitch balls, NOTHING. They don't seem committed.

There was no markings for U-Haul pickup or drop off. The parking lot was full of cars, no parking available for truck.

The rental place was fine, but the pick up / drop off process is lengthy & tedious from the phone. Things aren’t well marked there, and the small parking lot is very full. There’s no one there to help, either. Things were confusing. The entire uhaul experience was so-so, at best. The a/c in the truck went out twice (called & maintenance fixed it once), the mirrors would t adjust, the movers contracted via uhaul never came, putting us in a bind. The only option was a 24-hour reservation, and I needed 36 hours after the movers didn’t come. I’m still disputing the charge for extra time, since customer service said I wouldn’t be charged. Getting someone from uhaul on the phone over the weekend is nearly impossible, too. I spent a lot of time on hold. Will I use uhaul next time? Ehhhh... not sure.

While the location in Clemmons was fine. It was NOT the location I was supposed to pick my vehicle up from. My confirmed location did not have the truck I reserved 2 weeks prior. I had to drive 20 miles OUT OF MY WAY to pick a truck up. That added to my mileage and time. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
