Worst rental experience ever Would think a company as large as U-Haul would have their inventory under control Had to pick up in another city far away then get charged extra mileage for the pick up Original truck broke, luckily they had another truck available although is was smaller Moving is stressful enough then add this to the mix made it even better

HEATH PWas an outdoor storage facility that was dusty and crowded, but the attendant was super helpful and accommodating and made it very smooth.
CHRISTOPHER DWe were contacted by Uhaul customer service less than 24hrs ahead of our scheduled pickup time that the only truck available to us was in Monument, CO. That was a 2 hour drive 1-way for us to pickup the truck. That meant we had a 4 hour drive just to pick the truck up before our move. We felt like that was poor communication on the part of Uhaul. Ruben at the Monument, CO location was very nice, it was not his fault that we had to drive 4 hours to get the truck.

Richard FThis site was a slight bit crowded, but worked out ok. The trailer we received here had a defective tire, and we experienced a blowout about 20 miles east of Denver on a busy highway. However, when we called the roadside assistance number, the u-haul rep efficiently dispatched a repair technician. He arrived within 30 minutes and had us back on the road within another 10 min. I believe this was handled very well- it just happens.
GARY BTrailer was ready when I got there to pick it up. Rueben had prepped it and had checked the tires. The process was quick and efficient. Would recommend Rueben to anyone needing a U-Haul rental.
RYLAN CI would rent a trailer from this location again. It was nice having someone to call directly to extend my rental and I appreciated the flexibility.

Matthew HThe location was very confusing for drop off (it was several businesses), and the U-haul sign was barely visible. I had to ask someone where to drop it off. The person running the location wasn't even there. I had to call a number and just leave the truck with the keys inside. He was 15 minutes away he said (this was during business hours). The location was part of a local dump, so it was very dirty and disorganized. I was very displeased.
David DHave a location not in a place that looks like a Junk Yard. The check engine light was on when I picked up the truck. I had to drive 120 miles out of my way to pick up the truck when in fact there were 4 other U-Haul locations w/in 10 miles of my house.
LArry cTruck was dirty and had 129K miles on it. Not good for a cross country move. Air conditioner broke an hour down the road, had to switch vehicles and stay in a hotel. Lost $150 and 15 hours of travel time.
Eric DRueben was outstanding, friendly and helpful. I left a couple of things in the U-Haul and he was kind enough to remove them and set them aside for pickup the following day.

Elizabeth LWe reserve the truck close to home but had to drive 40 miles from home to pickup the truck.....NOT GOOD! We reserve the truck well in advance but the truck was not guaranteed.....why have reservation? What does reservation mean to you? Once we got pass those obstacles. You seem to run the business more business like. Merci.
Jake MThere was no information about the return process. It was dirt road to the storage facility. Once I got there it was a closed gate with a keypad for entry (did not have a code). I parked in front of the gate blocking the road and googled the locations phone number to call. The guy that answered said he would open the gate and to drive twords the house. After sitting and complaining to my wife for a bit someone came over and directed me where to go, he was friendly and took trailer off truck. I have not ever had this kind of experience with U-Haul before and I anticipate not having it again
Robert Twe wanted to pick up in littleton co but one day prior to pick up we were informed they did not have the reserved equipment and we had to drive to monument co ( 1 hour drive) to get the truck and trailer. We did get a discount to reimburse us for the gas, but uhaul should collect the equipment and place it where the reservation is calling for. Pensce will do this
