This was by far the best U Haul experience that I've ever had! The team was friendly, courteous and worked with me to ensure a seamless pick up and drop off. I highly recommend them, and will certainly be using their services in the future.

Annie SThe location was excellent, but what wasn't excellent was the process to get there: 1. My reservation was 10am at White Horse Liquors. I arrived, my app even showed it, but they said I wasn't on their list. I had to call in and they told me my actual location was 5 MILES AWAY. That is unacceptable. 2. I show up at Singleton and the customer service was amazing, they do a fantastic job, but they were confused because the person on the phone had scheduled me for 11pm. She said she had scheduled me for 11:30am. How does that happen?! So the truck I had initially requested was gone, not even held, even though it's clearly UHauls screwup. Instead, thanks to the Allsafe excellent team, they put me on one of their remaining trucks, a 15'. The rate was the same, so I wasn't upset, but the fact that I went from a 10' to a 15' is unacceptable, that big of a difference makes it incredibly difficult to maneuver. 3. I wasted about 2 hours hunting down my truck, when it was your guys' responsibility to deliver a good customer experience. And the lady on the phone saying "if you don't show up on time we are going to give the truck to someone else," is completely unacceptable from a representative of UHaul. In the future, I will not be using UHaul anymore. Even though Allsafe was fantastic, and they're reps incredibly kind and fun to work with, the process it took me to get there and the lack of communication or support is unacceptable. In the future, I will use other services.

EMMANUEL Cwould be nice to send a courtesy reminder before returning vehicle to keep truck key on-hand while filling out return truck form, before placing it in the drop box.. and not just rely on a sign on the door as the reminder. some people can miss that sign and return key without taking picture of vehicle mileage
Edward TYour website doesn't make pick up instructions clear. We almost didn't get our truck because of the way your system works. Things improved after we finally met the customer service rep inside the storage center. She was wonderful. The truck was in pretty bad shape. The oil light went on almost immediately as well as some other warning lights on the dash. Glad we only needed it for a short distance. I would recommend this location to a friend, but I would not advise booking through the website.

Pantap SI had a very stressful experience. When I drove the truck home, it was fine. The next day, we packed it up and when I started the engine, HUGE clouds of smoke came out of the exhaust pipe. I didn't know what was causing it and the check engine light came on. I called roadside assistance. They were nice on the phone, but it took an hour and half before someone was able to arrive. When they arrived, they told me that the smoke was normal for an engine that had been sitting all night. It was no longer doing it and he test drove it and assured me it was safe to drive. He also told me that it was normal for the check engine lights to be on in these kinds of trucks. We ended up making the trip from Alameda to Martinez and back safely, but the whole thing put us hours behind schedule (we had planned to be out and back before traffic and had to wait for roadside assistance). So the 3 extra hours caused me to be charged for a whole extra day. Everything worked out in the end, but PLEASE warn your customers that smoke will be coming from their truck and that it is normal to have a check engine light on. I don't think either of these things are acceptable, but if the equipment is going to be like that, at least warn people so they're not stressed out during an already stressful moving day.

Anthony WI was charged an extra day and gas. Thank goodness I took before and after pictures. After submitting my proof, it got denied because the representatives did not send pic with the refund. I was not contacted and learned this upon a follow-up call. I now have to have another representative submit the same papers and wait longer for my refund.
Jessica GThe couple at the front desk were so welcoming & courteous at 4am in the morning :). My only complaint was the excessive amount of fur in the U-Haul. A cleaning fee should be applied to renters card if they do not return the rentals in a maintained/healthy standard. I have allergies & luckily I brought my pills with me.
