knowledgeable, helpful staff-they called me ahead to let me know they were ready with the truck-it's in a downtown area, where the streets are a bit tricky to get in and out, but not too bad-they had the truck ready to go--did a nice job --

I was very dissatisfied with my experience with U Haul. I made a reservation yesterday for 230p today but received a call about an hour or so prior saying my reservation would need to be pushed back due to someone allowing the prior customer to extend their reservation til 330. I needed the truck at 230 so I was given an option to pick up a truck at the Charles St location but was not informed location was closed and I'd have to download the app and go through instructions to get the truck. After talking to at least 5 different people I was finally able to get truck after taking tons of pictures. I will probably not use U Haul again.

The check in procedure is horrible. I will not rent another Uhaul. I brought the truck back and on time. I put the key in the night depository. Come to find out I should have checked the vehicle in on line. I read the email and it said if your are bringing the truck back after hours do this. It said to me you did not bring it back after 11:30 so you are good. tried to fix the issue early in the am. The person just checked out of the chat. If I don't go online to rent the truck, then why in the devil's name do I have to check it in online. I was charged an extra $20. This seems like a scam. I am going to the better business bureau on it as a matter of fact. This makes me VERY angry. This policy needs to be fixed. Why should I pay the agent another $20 for him to do his job?

Your location on State street was not well run. Would not rent from uhaul if The state street location was your only facilityy in Rockford. People at Charles were wonderful

The husband and wife at this location a really awesome people very friendly and go out of their way to help their customers I would highly recommend this location for any U-Haul needs or auto repairs I would also like to say do not call the 800 number the supervisor I dealt with on the phone there was anything other than professional and had no customer service qualities

My second mentioning of this to Uhaul. I emailed u on 10-16-19. At Alpine Auto Center, Rockford, IL 61103 #98919939. Saturday 10/1219. The uhaul guy was backing up the truck And i was behind the truck not knowing he would back it up so far but the lot is very small. He kept backing up so I kept backing up. There was a Big metal poll with a Hitch on the ground. I fell off my feet twisted and landed on my left hip and hand. The guy jumped out asking if I was ok. I said my hip hurt.. Felt a joilt go threw my body. I have brusing on my now sore hip, sore left thy with bruising, right leg big bruise from smacking the poll, sore left arm I fell on, neck strain or sprain for wiping around like a cat to catch myself. I have Rehap exercises and muscles all over my body that r sore I'm on a muscle pain relieve and 2 Advil a day. Noted from doctor. When I came back the guy at uhul asked me if I was ok. I said my hip hurts. As the days went on I became stiff. I would like to be compensated for their mistake at this uhaul. facility. I Am so sore. Tnx Kim Sabon Araz1traz2@aol.com

I really wasn’t sure why I was charged $29.95 for gas when the gas only went down about 3 small lines. I should have went to the gas station and put $10 on I would have saved money. But otherwise it was easy to rent.

- The process by which I was supposed to interact with the app was confusing. I did not realize I needed to allow the app to access my location and be at the physical location when I checked the truck back in. - Also, there was an overall lack of trucks in the area and I was required to do a lot of extra driving which was not convenient. - The man that ran the location was very informative and nice. Excellent customer service.

The right break light on the car dolly was 2/3rds burnt out. Got pulled over and spent 30 minutes arguing with a cop the fact that u-haul sent me off with trailer like that. Cop let me off without a warning ticket but I am dissatisfied with my experience. Contract# 97079982 equip ID# TD5686J

The tail lights for when the headlights are on did not work on the trailer. It wasn't my wiring because I pull a boat every few days and they all work as intended
