Have rented from Always Amore several times and it has always been a positive experience. They have clean and well maintained trucks and vans and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Original reservation, original site for pick up sent notification the morning of the rental that they would not be open until 12 noon, even though our reservation was set for 9a. This led to many disappointing and unsupportive phone calls to U-Haul, however we eventually found a location nearby who addressed our rental. Unfortunately, we had to walk to the site, about 1 mile. I would not rent from U-Haul in this area again.

Very nice very friendly very helpful I recommend anybody that's in the area that needs a U-Haul or just you know the rent a car to drive around then go see these guys the top notch!

reliable parking

It was a horrible experience. I reserved a truck for 10am to 1pm at : 300 AVE U, GRAVESEND, NY 11223. I got there and had to wait an hour and a half for a dealership employee. He just didn't show up and left his keys in the lock. They changed my pickup address for the truck, but my mood was ruined and my partner was late for an appointment he had scheduled for 2pm.

None of the equipment I purchased was present upon pickup. Pickup was also complicated because nobody mentioned that the location was closed and there was no barcode to scan. I wasted 1 hour just on trying to figure out how to pick up the vehicle. I'd rate everything zero if I could. Worst experience ever and I'll tell everyone else to avoid this horrible location.

My original reservation was at the Shell Rd. Brooklyn location, when I arrived to pick up my rental for 11am the place was closed. I had to find my own nearest location, the place the reservation line was sending me to was miles away. Always Amore picked up the slack, and made it a pleasant ordeal.

The uhaul wasn’t clean but the costumer service was great .

On arrival for the van it wasn't there. I was handed the van key and dolly and told to walk to Avenue Z( 3 blocks away ) to pick up the van.On getting there it was blocked in by 2 cars on the street.Hence I returned and told them of my findings.One of them subsequently went and got the van.This should have been done in the first place instead of sending the customer to get it.That's unacceptable and unprofessional.

they gave me a van with no power steering, the key wasnt going in so they opened the hood but because they counts close the hood up agai. finally gave me a nice van with pwer steering. Thank God for the key trouble which made them give me a normal van instead of a broken down one. For $150 per day i would think i deserve to drive without struggling

i was not asked for a license nor was one presented, the truck was filthy, there was all kinds of ropes and straps left in the cab as well as papers and receipts from the prior users. i was charged twice, once for $175,23 and $112,75 and was never emailed a detailed receipt for the charges. i would let an explanation for al the charges. there was also no lot or designated area to park the truck when i returned it after business hours. please send a detailed receipt for both charges on my credit card.

This location has double charged me, I will be calling corporate and demanding a refund. I don't know if it was this location or corporate, all I know is I was sent a receipt for a certain price, and I was charged twice. So I am pissed

My original order was canceled because the first location was closed and I spent additional $10 for Uber to second location for pick up my van. Second location representative was nice and helpful.

The Van they gave me had no horn. I nearly died on highway from a near miss of a truck. This is totally unacceptable and I don't believe I will ever use Uhaul service again.

I thought the U Haul service was way too expensive. went 100 miles and paid over 300 dollars. I'll probably try to find a different venue due to that.

I've been renting at Amore for quite some time and have always been satisfied. The new procedures are a bit byzantine and frankly go way overboard, but I understand the need.

rental location staff rude. was not helpful and would not let me upgrade. when returning they had an 8am opening time posted, guy showed up 8:45 without apologizing, i had to wait 45 minutes for him. would never rent from this location again

Very unprofessional receptionist. We have spent extra 40min there, because she made us do everything online, in order to obtain a vehicle key, even though I have specified "over counter service". She refused to help us fill in forms, then implied that we are not smart enough to open the key box, if can't fill in online forms. We ended up in verbal argument with her, because we were so late for our appointment already and she just would't help with anything. She mentioned, she has no ties to U-Haul (there is a board on the wall says U-Haul) and only dispense keys, however, she and her partner couldn't open a key box after everything was done by us. I am not sure, if she is a part time employee or not, but her attitude was on another level of terrible customer service. She was talking to a friend on the phone, while we are asking her questions about online forms. End result, we were 1 hour late to our appointment, simply because she refused to help us with anything. I really would like your feedback on this, because never ever I have experienced such a terrible customer service. Unfortunately, I will not return to this location again (thanks to the unhelpful employee) and my brother previously experienced the same service from her, but he didn't bother to take further. Again, I would like to hear back from you on this matter!

Need adequate Parking for vehicles

The only issue is that the dolly and hand wheelie thing wasn't available. I had to go to three different locations and no one had it. Which made my move very difficult.

The lady at the counter was rude made me wouldn't accept my return if the truck was not parked in a legal space i had to drive around looking for a parking even though they gave it to me double parked. Had it been in a legal spot I could've left my personal car there and the truck could've gone back in the same spot. Would never deal with this place again

Starting with the barcode which was unreadable, then the lockbox which was broken, then the representative who switched me to the other van and forgot to mention my issues to the manager to switch the truck in my account. I drove different van with different mileage and couldn't return it because the system didn't allow me to. Called customer service and theady hang up the phone on me. Didn't help at all. Next day I called to the location and the rude and unprofessional lady yelled at me because I mentioned the full refund due to my experience with this location and uhaul. Never... Never again! I would not recommend to anyone this location. Very poor customer service provided by Mary S and Felix.

I have spent more than an hour awaiting for a office worker dealing with Uhaul rentals to show-up. I had a reservation and did a check-in, but the whole online pick-up, verification, drop-off process is annoying. The location did not have some of the equipment requested and paid for (furniture pads).

Rude and disrespectful staff wanted me to go get the truck from wherever on the street it was parked. On return refused to take truck unless i parked on street and took a picture of mileage. Inappropriately dressed like they were partyi g after work. Skimpy black dresses. Refused to give name on return.
