Have a representative there when scheduled to be present to assist customers with picking up their uhaul and rental items. There was no one at my location during pick up resulting in various issues in the rental process including me not receiving items that I paid for already. I'm still waiting on a refund and refund for mileage that had to be used to go pick up rental items from an alternative location.
Sierra RI was charged a fee of 5 that wasn't disclosed online or in person. I'm really tired of hidden fees. Be honest and upfront

Mikaela AWhen I arrived the store was closed, they didn't have a ball for the hitch to rent and said they don't rent them I went and bought one from another store. When I got back there was a car blocking the trailer. They didn't have a key to. I was told I need to move the trailer by hand and they didn't help. After moving the trailer they said they aren't allowed to hook it up then as I was backing to hookup the trailer myself someone showed up saying they also rented the same trailer the store said to figure it out between ourselves and it's not their problem is what the owner on the phone said to the employee. They didn't checkout the trailer so I got a call from U-Haul asking if I still wanted the trailer after I already picked it up. The person who called was extremely unprofessional and used profanity told me I'm getting a email from U-Haul and not to worry about that shit or do it. That I don't need to take a picture of the hitch or follow the instructions on the email. When I got the contract it was signed but it was not signed by me. The U-Haul signed in my place a contract that I didn't even know what it said
Aws SOnly thing was I ordered a 26 foot truck and all they had ready was a 20 foot. It worked out though!

Jessica mI have rented 2 uhaul trucks from 2 different locations in the past 2 weeks. Every time I get in a track within a block or 2 max the mileage instantly goes to the next mile, I think that in renting you should start the paperwork on the mileage after the first number & I believe I was overcharged mileage on both rentals. I did take photos of the dashboard speedometer and gas on each track before and after renting and do plan to address this! I had a hard time finding trucks even calling to three days in advance which made me have to drive extra miles to go very far to even pick up a truck is also frustrating! I am a realtor and I have always recommended you guys for trucks because you have a daily rate that is very reasonable but I do understand now on my client say it sounds like it's a deal until you get done ! A $1,09 a mile, seems very high + gas! Thank you, Jami Hyde

Brian PThey didn't sweep out the truck before renting it to us. They didn't include the furniture dolly and moving pads we paid for. They charged us for them anyway. The mirrors in the truck had been modified and were not adjustable making it impossible to see other lanes of traffic. Extremely unhappy with the level of service we received.

James WHardy with Anders automotive failed to produce inaccurate reports in regards to turning in the truck I reserved. I turned in the truck on time beforehand in between the the set date and time that was scheduled for turn in before facing extra charges that follow with late turn in. He failed to verify that I turned the truck in on time or schedule there for the following business week when he submitted the reports the system would charge my debit card for additional days of use when in fact I turned the truck in when it was due. Mychecking account suffered a hefty charge on top of the charge that was actually due for extra use of mileage. Hardy is very nonchalant and dismissive of the mistake of being inaccurate and Dismissive in preparing information that puts the customer wallet at stake for hefty charges that are a inconvenience as a whole. Mistakes like this that cost the paying customer more than the intended rate should not be tolerated and by the way the situation was handled it seems to be that they are tolerated on the regular.

Donald CTruck's battery was dead and needed a jump start before even leaving the lot. We had to jump it again before bringing it back. Had to leave running while unloading contents which increased gas usage.
Clara CReservation was made for 8:30 am. Received notification that truck would not be ready until 10:00 am. Then at 10:00 am truck was still not ready. Needed to drive to another location to pick up different truck which put us 4 hours behind our schedule. Then trailer would not fit the truck we were hauling despite the fact that we gave the truck specifications at the time of reservation. Whole process was very disorganized and frustrating. Due to the delay and needing to find alternative transportation for the truck we intended to transport, nearly the whole day was wasted. Due to this experience alone, I would greatly hesitate to EVER use Uhaul again. The staff failed to make the situation right and refused to acknowledge the position they had put us in.
david cWindow had a terrible crack in it and I couldn’t change the location since we were leaving for NY in the morning.
David STruck had known damage and wasn't acknowledged, told that I would receive moving blankets, received no blankets. Told that drop off point was optional and that truck could be dropped any U haul close to my location. Total lie.
