Jacoria G.*WARNING* This location committed fraud by charging my credit card a "quick settlement fee" for damage before I returned the truck. When I returned the vehicle the attendant did not inspect it or provide a receipt. Later I received an email receipt with a damage charge. When confronted with pictures I had taken upon first rental that showed existing damage the attendant reversed the charges. After contacting my credit card company I confirmed the location had processed a damage charge days before I returned the vehicle. If I had not taken pictures of the vehicle I would not be able to dispute these charges. I wonder how many customers this location has charged fraudulent damage claims? I am contacting the BBB and UHaul Corporate with my supporting evidence from the rental contract and credit card statements.
Jermaine C.With only one employee, we had to wait 45 minutes just to return the trailer. I had also picked this location because of after hour returns, but when we got there the evening before, we found out we could not leave a trailer. Blocked gates, difficult access made this a very difficult and frustrating return.

Christopher M.After the original UHaul location double-booked my trailer rental I needed to scramble to save my day and find another trailer. The Harris location understood my time-sensitive situation and was able to get me a trailer to save my timeline. I was finished JUST IN TIME to take my wife out on our dinner date.
Jeremiah P.Returned trailer 30 minutes after the site closed. I was going to use the after hours procedures but saw someone in the office. I attempted to be courteous and notify the person in the office that I was dropping off a trailer. Instead I received lecture about how they were doing me a favor by accepting the trailer and I must be from out of town and do not know the rules. I definitely did not feel like a paying customer and felt like a burden.
Ron M.Service didn't work in the store so they couldn't load up customer profiles. You would have to wait minutes for them to pull up reservations. Truck was dirty. Trailer back lights did not work.

julie A.12' covered trailer really needs to have a tongue Jack installed. How is anyone expected to hook and unhook to the hitch without a tongue jack? This is a safety hazard Uhaul!

MELODY C.I have rented many uhaul trucks over the years. This truck was so bad, that I was sick from the heat that poured into the cab from engine. I had air conditioning on high and it was still unbearable but too late to turn back. The shocks or suspension were terrible. The truck bounced all over and this was smooth interstate traveled highway. The owner (Mike) was made aware of the problem during the first 30 minutes of my drive and extensively when I returned. I paid 0,75 per mile for 108 miles. I would think this would go to maintenance of vehicle. The trip was my worst experience of all with Uhaul rentals. Compensation for some of the cost would be one thing uhaul could do. The other is fix the vehicle before it is used. I was almost to the point of heat exhaustion from only driving the truck due to HOT air blowing off engine to floor and leg area from a non-vented area. It continued up to my head and face. ALICIA S.It took over 45 minutes to get the van. I feel I should be compensated for the wasted time waiting while the agent had to get on the phone, and finally had to get a supervisor to get the rental reservation complete. 45 minutes is too long for a simple reservation to be completed.
AUGUSTINE H.The dropping off after hours process is not well handled by Uhaul. The owner said just park it and drop the keys. Then two hours later your website asked me for photos of drooping it off. There was no way to do that after dropping off the keys.

JOSEPH D.I received a call from the manager at a Mansfield/Harris UHAUL Sunday 9/26. It was closed but our presence was on video surveillance. After hour returns are something we know how to do in order to return a rented vehicle and never expected to get this call regarding our return. The words were used “I just received a creepy message†regarding the van return. It was mentioned that she called me to VERIFY if it was in fact “us†dropping off our van rental at her location. In today's sensitivity regarding “black lives matter†and policing I am writing this comment because I believe this call could have caused a police reaction due to the CREEPY NATURE IMPLIED. I was made to feel we didn't belong on her lot (suspected bad vibe) and she used the word “creepy†several times which was considered an insult. I'm grateful that she called me first to validate the return instead of calling police unnecessarily. Please make note that ALL BLACk MEN shouldn't create a fear to the UHAUL manager. We are offended as the use of that word creepy implies a negative context towards a innocent law abiding, honest, customer and should be assumed otherwise suspicious.

BOBBIE M.First of all the sales guy was rude and upset when I declined insurance coverage. Then I get in the truck and the tire pressure gage was on and tire was low. Get your maintenance together before trying to tell me how strict you were going to be since I declined coverage. Next time I hope the Newt Patterson location has Wht I need.

Rachel R.Customer service is lacking. The cargo van was not cleaned when I picked it up and it had some known damage; including a broken tail lens, which I was told “it's okay “ since the light works. Then I brought to attention that there were two maintenance/service indicator alerts. One was for oil change requirement, which I was told to ignore since U-HAUL had its own maintenance schedule. (If that's true, then I suppose they know better than the manufacturer when it comes to preventative maintenance.) The other warning light was the low tire light, of which the right rear tire showed only 27psi. The guy literally “kicked the tire†and said it looked okay to him, so I was to ignore that too (“probably a bad sensorâ€). But for peace of mind I could add air at convenience store down the road (which I did). The next day noticing that the tire lost some psi, I called and was told that they were aware of the “very slow leak†and to add air as needed and it will be fine. Upon return the rep denied knowing about the leak. When it came to questions about the billing the rep was dismissive and lacked sincerity. Next time I will hesitate to use U-Haul again, but if I do it won't be from this location.
