The right side brake light/turn signal was broken. When I arrived in Waco from Austin, the right front tire had only 26 psi of air pressure. Almost flat. It should have had 80 psi.

Overall, I like this location and the service is always great! I love the no hassle weekend return. However, this time the Trailer I received was old and had not been cleaned after previous use. 2 tires were low on tread, but I did not notice until I found one of the tires to be flat at one of the stops on my 1500 mile journey.

Lift gate had no hydraulic fluid was like lifting the entire trailer. Was charged $20.00 for an after charge on Monday at noon. Not my fault they aren't open on a regular business day. If it wasn't that I needed that trailer I wouldn't have rented from this place with all their Trump signs.

The truck I picked up was absolutely filthy. Trash and spilled drink covering the inside of the cab and the cargo space was filled with dirt, trash, and old toothbrushes.. Disgusting. It is obvious that there was zero cleaning done on this vehicle even during a pandemic. You would think cleanliness would be paramount. Obviously not.

Truck was dirty..both up front and in the bed..alot of trash, cans, dirt and other stuff. Also someone left food in the bottom of the floor. No parking for customers at the location. I won't rent from uhaul again.

I paid for 36 pads and the night before went to first reservation the day before to confirm that things were in order. Didn't have the pads and was told I needed to check with other uhaul locations to find them...last thing I had time for! Wife and I spent over an hour calling around to find some. Horrible experience.....will never use again!!!!!

I dropped the unit off at their night drop and then for 2 weeks received calls from UHaul wanting to know when I was bringing the trailer back. They (Austin Boars and Motors) obviously failed to record receipt of the trailer and update inventory records. I would not use them again.

1. Truck had warning lights on, and Agent said "they are just defective, it's ok to take the truck." 2. Because of the warning lights, the speedometer (for mileage) did not display. I told them when I picked up the truck that I would need it for less than 13 miles. When I returned it, NOT knowing how many miles I used the truck, I used google maps to trace my route. I used 11.7 miles. 3. I had the truck for 3 hours, to move a refrigerator, on 8-29-20. I returned the truck just as I had picked it up. NO one came out to check the truck in. (They would not be able to know the mileage without fixing the display). The counter agent simply said, "everything is o.k., we will send you an invoice" 4. I received the invoice. I WAS CHARGED $25 CLEANING FEE, which should not be charged, as I never put anything except the refrigerator into the truck. It was a clean as when I picked it up. I need a refund for this charge. Credit Due = $25 I was not given credit for the 1.3 miles that I did not drive. 5. They are closed on SUN-MON, so I can't reach them to disputed the invoice. Their Voicemail IS FULL, so you cannot leave a message. What a POOR representative of UHaul. Please contact them and get this corrected. merchant id 8034220684 Invoice 229 SUMMARY, they owe me a $27 refund.

Unfortunately I was not given the hand dolly I had reserved and was charged for with my uhaul rental. And they were out of furniture blankets as well. Other than that, everything went well.

They were unorganized. The contactless check in did not function so there was more interaction with staff than anticipated. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. None of the equipment and supplies were in the truck. Had to make a 15 mile return trip to get those items

Risking for dropoff. Not open for two days (Sun and Monday) so hard to drop off the truck outside the gate. We were the last truck to fit safely in the lot. If you off drop off 24/7 make sure there is sufficient parking

Drop off after hours was impossible. the area was small and filled with other drop offs. I had to wait until sunlight to try again and it took my son and I over 2 hours to figure out a way to do it and Uhaul would not let us drop it off at a nearby Uhaul location with the space. This resulted in an extra day charged on my credit card...because I had no safe way of dropping it off at this location.

Will be telling everyone not to use uhaul. I blew out on a very busy highway. 3 hours later I finally heard from uhaul about my roadside assistance. My baby was sweating, my dog was miserable and I was left hopeless. Would prefer to hear from a manager regarding this

At least wipe down the drivers area and sweep out the cab. This truck even had blankets and boxes strewn throughout the cargo area that I did not request to utilize. An unforeseen obstacle that cost me time and money. Prior to leaving we also had to check the tire pressure due to a low tire sensor light that was illuminated on the dash.

My original drop off location refused to accept my trailer even though it was scheduled as the drop off location (Cavalier Food Mart in Austin). I went down the road the Austin Boats and Motors and they were friendly and helpful.

Upon stepping in the truck the person who helped me asked if I was there with another vehicle. Of course the answer to that question was Yes, then he told me that I couldn't park my car at the premises and that I had to use a general parking lot. I had to get in my own car, drive it to the other parking lot and walk over tp get the truck. Unbelievable. All of this while I had to wait for 15 mins outside before he drove the truck to the front.

Terrible customer service! The younger gentleman who "helped" us with the pickup was incredibly rude and didn't even help us with or listen to our concerns. Also, the wrong van was pulled for us (it was reserved online so already had a van number assigned to us) and gave us attitude when he had to get the correct vehicle that was assigned. When he pulled the correct vehicle up he simply left the key in the ignition and walked away without acknowledging me instead of handing me the keys, even though I was only a few feet away.

Cargo area was not cleaned when I picked up the truck. There is a sign that states there is a $25 fee for returning it unswept and I received the truck unswept. So I effectively had to sweep the dirt from someone else's move to make sure I didn't get charged $25. In my mind, this warrants a $25 dollar refund. Perhaps that's not the case but it makes sense just as a deduction from the mere existence of the fee. Also, we were guaranteed a utility dolly and did not receive one. We were refunded for that so just frustrating because there is no time to make other plans when you find out when you're supposed to be receiving it. Finally, we were guaranteed a 7:30AM contactless pickup and then had to wait for 30 mins for the business to open at 8 and be hand delivered the keys.

The truck I was given was unsafe and should be in salvage. The passenger door would not close completely and would not lock. The steering was so loose it was unsafe to drive above 50 mph. At 45 mph major vibrations occurred. And there was a cabin seal leaking so badly the whistle noise was disorienting. I should have been paid to drive that truck. Unfortunately, since I only drove 2 miles through a neighborhood to load the truck, I didn't realize all of these issues until the truck was completely loaded. On a schedule and with a 100 miles round trip to unload, we went ahead and used the truck. However, we did have to take a separate vehicle as it was unsafe for anyone to ride in the passenger seat. There should be minimum standards and inspections done. It was the worst rental vehicle I have ever had!!!

During the last 12 months, I believe I have rented U-Hauls 4 – 5 times to move kids in and out of college. This move was a nightmare. The sequence… • Reserved the 6x12 trailer from U-Haul a week before my pick up on 6/5 • I received notice the night before picking up, validating the pickup location • @1:30 I go to the pickup location (about 15 mins from my house) and was told that all U-Haul systems are down, and I could not pick up the trailer. Also, that he was “ruining people's days all day”. I explain that picking up at some later date would not work. He told me to call other U-Hauls to see if I could find a trailer. Completely unhelpful. • I head towards a full-service U-Haul facility while waiting on hold with them. After traveling for around 20 mins and finally reach someone and told again that U-Haul systems are down and they can't rent to me, and that I should call the 800 number. • I call the U-Haul 800 number and was told any of the centers could help me if they would have called the 800 number. They set me up at a location 5 – 10 mins away. • I was not familiar with the location and asked 3 times for the address. She insisted on texting and emailing it to me. I received neither. Luckily, I had the name and called them. • The new location is almost 45 mins away. From the second location. I drive there while calling to make sure I can pick up the training. They said all was good and I could pick up. Their systems were fine. But they asked if I could have the trailer back the next morning. I pointed out that my reservation that they were looking at had a drop off in Dallas 4.5 hours away. They mentioned it would be helpful if I could bring the trailer back to them… Yeah right, great service! • I arrive at Austin Boats and Motors to pick up the trailer. At first, I was told that I had to have cash because their systems were down. I again told them I had verified on the way there and that this was not acceptable. They huddle and figure out how to use a card. • I am pointed to the trailers at the back of their property, that the young man was headed there to meet me. I head there and wait. And wait. At 20 mins (over 2 hours since I left to pick up a U-Haul 15 mins from my house) I go back up to the office. They apologize that they had forgotten about me. If they would not have rented me the trailer parked behind other same sized trailers, I would have gotten it myself. Finally, I arrive back home almost 3.5 hours after I left. • This put the packing way behind. Thanks U-Haul. • I make it to Dallas and unload. I take the U-Haul back and a young man there explains – our systems are down so I can't check you in. Of course… He then tells me I can drop off and get a receipt emailed. Ok… But then he points me to the back and tells me to drop off the trailer myself. Luckily at 62 I am still fit and was able to wrestle the 6x12 trailer off the hitch myself. U-Haul, you did very poorly on this trip.

We waited a few minutes to get helped, even though there was ample help in the store. The one person that was at the counter, kept making small talk (even though they had already helped that customer) while we stood waiting to be helped. While the clerks were helpful, there was a computer issue that further delayed us. If you need a hitch, buy elsewhere, this place has everything way marked up.
