Had 2 trucks break down in 12 hours. My family and I sat on the side of the road for 6 hours the first time before getting a room . Mind you customer service couldn't find a room in a one horse town but my brother did . Then you promised a crew to transfer the load . They wouldn't come till 2:30 in the afternoon. So my boys and I did it instead of waiting. We transferred the load and made it a 100 miles before the 2nd truck broke down . We sat another 8 hours at a gas station before a mechanic from 4 hours away showed up to tell us that the truck was still under factory warranty with only 8 000 miles on it and couldn't do anything if he wanted to . Took customer service additional 2 hours to get my family and I some rooms again for the night . Then customer service tells me on that Saturday night that they wouldn't be able to do anything for me till Monday morning!!! My boys and daughter in law needed to be to work Monday morning. So I had to drive them an hour to rapid city to rent a car so they can make it home for work . Now it was just my wife and I left to deal with this bullshit. A new truck finally showed up late Sunday night but no trans load crew till Monday. Wake up Monday and was told no trans load crew till 730 Monday night !! On Monday night at 730 no crew showed and was contacted that they wouldn't be there till 820 an hour later then said. So another day was gone with little result's!!!! The trans load went smooth and fast i was very satisfied with that crew !!!! Tuesday finally came and was able to finish the last 8 hours of my move . U haul has the worst customer service I've ever seen !!! For all the years uhaul has been doing this and in business it was like it was their first day in business!! The worst the situation got the worst the communication got !!!! Zero answers zero support !!! I had to use my own money to keep us afloat and lost my security deposit money to secure a place at my new destination!!! I will be seeking refunds for my trip and expenses plus the truck rental !!! I had high hopes of a smooth transition and a short 12 hour journey. Instead turned into a 5 day nightmare with zero support from a company I rented from . You people need to start from the ground up and revamp your shit service before possibly putting people in some serious danger !!! North Dakota has very cold temps and your service agents are telling us to walk away from the truck on the side of the road and to a more safer area in the middle of no where in frigid temps . I told the customer service that was calling from Arizona that they are crazy and to find us a safe place soon !!! Never happened my brother had to do your job !!!! You guys seriously need to do better !! If that was a single mom or an elderly couple they would've been in serious trouble on a pitch black highway in frigid temps and who knows what bad people are out there lurking looking for a sitting duck like we were !!!

Troy FA designated U-Haul area would make better for multi-use facilities. So as a customer you know it is a U-Haul store and bringing it to the correct location.

Don JPaid extra for a dolly that was never available Also quoted a price and told to pick up from Bottineau ND location only to be told no truck available and to pick up 90 miles away AND then charged for the extra mileage
Leo BI did not get my partial refund because both locations told me different things. One said I would get a refund and the other said that was a lie and not refundable for the days not used. Only needed 2 of 7 days total.
leuis sAgain, no one was there. But it was clean and organized. There was ample space for me to drop the trailer.
