The car had too many miles, driving like shit and brakes were not very safe, had to press them hard all the way down and it still wouldnt stop.. was still rolling.. the staff was very nice and friendly and helpful, drove 80 miles put 8 gallons of gas after and still you charged me for 5 more gallons really? Well the car should not eat so much gas, if it was a newer car i wouldnt have to spend extra on gas ðŸ˜¡Yur A.
everyone working there was super nice, it was an easy rental. the only problem is that the truck they gave me had basically zero gas in it. gaslight was on when i got it, so it was kind of stressful to drive wondering if i would run out of gas. now that could be my fault because i didnt make a reservation, i just showed up and they were able to give me a truck, so maybe it wasnt fully prepped but, i would just expect the truck to have gas. otherwise, it was a great experience. and again, the two employees working there were extremely nice and helpful.MATTHEW O.
I rented a vehicle 2-10p and was not told the location closes at 7p. The manager was apologetic but spending a half hour on the phone with U-Haul customer service and having to return the vehicle the next day was a huge inconvenience.Laura E.

I was told that the truck was cleaned, but when I got in the truck there was still food residue from what I would assume was the previous driver. The door handles inside the door seemed like they haven't been cleaned in months. Especially with COVID I would have expected the truck to be a bit more clean. Also, the wheel alignment was way off and it was a bit difficult throughout the drive.Sean F.
My uhaul wasn't working and I had to wait a very long time for a replacement while eating into the time allowed to rent. I was charged far much more than I was quoted and will never be renting a uhaul ever again and will tell others to not either especially at this locationMelissa H.

Fix the app and Coordinate with each location. The manager at the location Liz was wonderful but the website/app is awful (zero start rating in fact I would go -5rating). 1)it showed options to pick up truck before the location was open thus I got there at 7;30 and no one or truck was there 2) upon check in on app, it said location opened at 10 am the actual door said 9 am. 3) when I returned when they opened my truck was unavailable.OUTRAGEOUS 4) thankfully Liz helped me locate a truck which was there!... why was I told the truck was gone I do not know.Teresa S.

The truck we were assigned had 160k miles on it and we were driving cross country. The air conditioning was broken and the truck was filthy. The people who rented us the truck told us that we should fill up the gas tank before returning it, as U-Haul would provide us a credit upon return for doing so. We called to ask for a different truck because of the air conditioning (we had to drive across the desert) and were told nothing was available. We were told to call Arizona Uhaul and see if they could trade out the truck for us. Hours later (after we paid movers to load the truck) I received a message saying we could go trade out the truck at a location 20 miles away. We had already driven over a hundred miles to pick up that truck and a trailer at a different Uhaul and get back to load it, so that wasn't an option. Driving through the mountains of Flagstaff Arizona, the truck could not accelerate over 35 mph. Our trip through the desert saw temperatures in excess of 100 degrees making the cab of the trick over 120 degrees with no climate control. My husband and son suffered immensely in that awful vehicle. The trip took far longer than it should have because the truck could not perform as it should have. We finally arrived in Texas and went to the return location the night before the truck was due. We were kicked out of the parking lot because they were getting ready to close. The next morning Chuck from the regional office left me a voicemail saying his â€œwreckerâ€ saw my Uhaul parked at a hotel and if I didn't return it on time that they would SEIZE THE VEHICLE. It wasn't even due yet! The â€œwreckerâ€ chalked the tires to determine if we moved it. I have the voicemail to prove his abhorrent behavior. I called Uhaul and the representative apologized for the hassle and changed our drop off location because we needed storage. We went to that location and were told there was nothing available to drive 25 miles back the direction we came from, away from our new home to try getting a unit there and returning the vehicle but â€œthere were no guaranteesâ€ the unit would be available when we arrived. We started out toward home in the hopes of finding a storage unit that could take us and called in again to Uhaul. We found a return location ourselves and they were the only positive part of the entire experience. Unfortunately, they had to deliver the bad news that the pickup ovation lied to us and there is no such thing as a gas credit. We called into Uhaul again and I was told an area manager would call me due to the awful experience we had, within 24 hours. It's been more than 24 hours and I have yet to be contacted.Kerri D.

Luis Vargas of BA storage was absolutely amazing. U-Haul, your phone customer service is awful. You offer 24/7 service, and when I was given the wrong set of keys, I was told there was nothing you could do. The BA storage do not arrive until 10am. I was there to pick up my car at 9am. Had to wait a full hour in order to drive off the lot due to your terrible phone customer service. Called and was told to wait 10- 20 mins, had to call 2 times in order to try to fix whatever was wrong with my order. If you are to offer 24/ 7 service for car rentals, then you need to update your system to allow the customer service reps to actually be able to help when no one is physically there. Luckily BA Storage has a great customer service who arrived a few minutes early to help, but I can't imagine if I placed my order at 6am what would have happened.Jazmine H.

My rental was fine, but the Uhaul experience was terrible. Uhaul sent me to pick up the vehicle after the location had closed (thankfully someone had stayed late and was quite helpful) and then instructed me to drop it off that same night, well after they locked up the shop. Then When I called Uhaul, the explanation I got is "Sorry, but COVID..." This is unrelated to the poor instructions and impossible requests from Uhaul.ETHAN S.

This location does not do after hours drop off! Even if you choose that option! There's no warning that a gate will be closed after 7 and you'll be stuck with your truck. Do not go to this location!!John B.
The location itself was very well maintained and the staff were very helpful. However, the Uhaul website itself was very unresponsive. I had to wait 30 minutes to get the van I reserved, despite the fact that I was standing directly next to it the entire time and the staff on location saw my reservation. I entered my information 3 times before I was approved to grab the keys for the truck. During each of these times, I tried to ask the Uhaul agents I was connected with for help on what was missing on my prior applications to no avail. In fact, most of the time, they kicked me to a random page to fix without even telling me what was wrong with the original information to begin with. Then on the 3rd time, with all of the same information, I was approved. What changed? I certainly don't know because none of the agents I was connected with online would tell me. The only people connected with Uhaul who were a help to me were the staff on location who vowed to help me should the website kick me back again. I lost nearly an hour on this website today, which luckily didn't hurt me this time, but could've been incredibly disruptive to my use of this service in the future. I hope you make this process more user friendly in the future so other customers do not have to wait like I did today.Ryan H.
