Craig C.when I tried to use your system to check in the equipment to avoid additional charges it kept erring. I work to many hours and could not contact the location to let them know it would not allow me to check it in. I hope I don't get charged a fee because your system kept erring.
Jeanette P.I had rented a 17' U-Hall for a 48 hour period, but returned the vehicle early (collected 2pm Friday, dropped off 8am Saturday. This was because the vehicle was unsafe to drive. On two occasions the van veered right for no reason and I had to take corrective measures to avoid running off the road. On returning the vehicle to the U-Haul agent (just a hire location and not a full U-Haul office location) and expressing our concerns the businesses employee just shrugged and said 'that's between you and U-Haul'. We then had to hire another 15' van from another location so that we could complete our move As this was an actual U-Haul location the service was excellent. The vehicle was clean and tidy, and the cargo space had even been disinfected! Overall, this experience was very disappointing as we had to disrupt the already stressful moving process so that we could get a vehicle that we felt was safe to drive. This essentially made the whole process more expensive for us than we had budgeted for.
Michael H.I was charged for a dolly and did even get one. On top of that they charged me 100$ more because I didn't return an already missing dolly. Ripoff, just ask your friend to borrow his truck.

MARIMUTHU N.The location I rented from did not have appliance dollies, regular dollies, or boxes. They also gave me a 15ft truck instead of a 17ft one like I reserved. The pickup and drop-off was seamless though.

RAYMOND P.This vehicle was the worst uhaul I've ever rented. And then I got charged another full day for being approximately 30 minutes late on return, due to the extensive wait time before I was assisted at the location. Also my pickup was time stamped early but it took awhile before I could see the truck and upload updated pictures. Not to mention it's a good thing I tested the lock before locking the door, as the key did not work on the padlock. My items would have been stuck in the truck.

DONALD W.Make sure you double check what the mileage is and gas tank level is before giving the truck to the customer. I think it's ridiculous that they put the responsibility on the customer to not get over charged. They did tell me to double check everything and take pics, but i think it's insane that they put that responsibility on the renter.

LORETTA V.When I got the rental van it had an almost flat tire. After getting onto the highway I became aware after almost being struck that the turn signals and brake lights were not working. I brought the uhaul back to the location and was told they couldn't help me and referred me to a different location. That location was unable to fix the turn signal or brake lights. I was told they couldn't put me in another rental because they were all reserved. I was then told I couldn't return the rental there and had to bring it back to the original location to return. Thankfully another vehicle was able to follow behind me with their flashers on. At the original location Then I was told I couldn't be refunded the my funds for the rental. I called the 1-800 number explained the situation then was put on hold and hung up on. I had always used uhaul in the past without issues. I needed the van to transport items and decorations to a venue for my wedding.

JAMES M.The gas price fee (per gallon) to the vehicle is above the actual market price. My husband thinks something was wrong with the gauge; since he put gas and it showed full, but when he drove it into the parking lot (two blocks away) they gauge went down what he put. I was charged the fee for gas when, to begin with, I did show that the gas gauge wasn't on full. I called to inquire about this and was put on hold and directed to a different person to call. I left a message and never heard back.
GERALD C.I rented dollies with the truck only to find out that they didn't have any and don't ever have them but they charged me any way. Refused to help resolve the issue and the man that "helped" me was extremely rude and only wanted to argue. Kept telling me it was my fault for booking online and should have known they wouldn't have the equipment. Had to fight to get a partial refund on the equipment rental charges. Worst experience.
