The tow dolley was damaged and had duct tape on it. I looked like it wasn't rubbing and so since I needed it I took it. After loading the car i was towing 500 miles I noticed one tire was very bad. I thought they inspected it so continued loading and went on my journey. At a stop after 50 miles I checked everything and looked much closer at the tire and saw the metal belt exposed. Upset and very worried I called Uhaul and they sent out roadside assistance. Road side assistance replaced both tires. Very uncomfortable with the equipment i received.

Attendant didn't help with hookup, and trailer had debris in it. I've rented many Uhaul trailers in my life, unfortunately this was a bad one. Won't go back.

whitney lessorWell I about got charged another $235 for some reason. We was supposed to pick up the U-Haul at Noon but called to have the time extend to 1pm. So I dropped it off around 1pm. So I'm confused on why I was about to get charged another $235?? Other than that it was good.

Michael DambachThe vehicle had a dirty windshield and was given to me with a quarter tank of gas. The attendant barely spoke English and had no idea what he was doing, needing to call someone else to be walked through the rental steps. From the time I got in to leaving was over a half hour. The contract was made wrong and said that I had the truck for 2 hours when I had reserved it for 6 hours. Get a truck from literally anywhere else in Appleton. Shame on U-Haul for allowing this establishment to represent them.
Tyler GorskiBoth of the counter attendants I met at Badger Mobil were quite clearly ESL and very difficult to understand. Clear communication is essential in these situations and clear communication was NOT available. I have never had to work on hooking up the trailer while your U-Haul representative was talking in a foreign language to family or friends on his cell phone with earbuds in. Yes, he did the heavy lifting and part of the hook up ... but this was not the kind of experience I have had at any other U-Haul location. When trying to return the trailer, I spent 10 minutes patiently standing at the counter while another "customer" (this is a gas station that also sells liquor, e-cigarettes, and drug paraphernalia) tried to decide how his $40 was going to be spent, then added on another purchase for his female companion. Once they left and got back in their waiting Uber, the counter attendant pointed out back (where the trailer was parked), I went around the building and he never came out to check the condition of the trailer. At that point I gave up and left to attend to the rest of my errands. When I got back home, I clicked on a link in the email that contained my contract so I could notify you about this and hopefully confirm that the trailer was marked as returned. The link took me to a "Page not found" on your site. Nice! I then clicked on a Chat button on that page and explained everything above to your representative ... waited patiently for her reply (it took a while) and then when I went to respond to her follow-up question ... I found out that SHE disconnected the chat! Apparently patience is only required of the customers, not of your staff. So I called Greg. I'll admit that I was not at all happy about the pickup, drop off, or chat experiences so I was pretty direct and not at all cordial. Greg maintained his professionalism and did his best, but couldn't assure me in the phone call that the on-time return was recorded in your system. By the time I got to that phone call, the gas station was "closed" (or at least they weren't answering their phone). This would have been a 1-star review had it not been for Greg doing his best and apparently following through to close out the rental after our call (I did receive the email containing a link to this review, which apparently goes out after the rental is completed). You have some really excellent locations near me - and a couple I will NEVER visit again. This one goes on the "not if it's the last trailer in the county" list.
