Truck had no gas when picked up. The breaks we're sticking, break lights and abs lights were on, and the truck had an exhaust leak. Very unpleasant to drive: shaky and misaligned. Person I dealt with seemed nice though.Meagan H.
The trailer was clean, but there were no straps or chock, as advertised. The staff person was exceptionally kind and helpful when I picked it up, and the person I called to make sure they had checked the trailer in since there was no one there when I returned it was also easy to deal with. No problems, just really could have used those straps.sue S.

I have been a repeat customer with UHaul for many years, in many provinces. This time however I placed an order for a 12' trailer well in advance of my move date but when I arrived, I was greeted with an 8' trailer. I was unable to move much of my furniture, including my couch and other large items. I then had to purchase replacement furniture upon my arrival. I received a confirmation email stating I would be provided with a 12' trailer. This is completely unprofessional, and had I been notified in advance that there wasn't a 12' trailer available, I would have adjusted my plans accordingly, instead of being completely caught off guard. I will consider other options the next time I am moving and need to rent a vehicle or trailer.tristin Y.
The truck I rented had some damage but was not documented so I had to dispute in the app and add pics. Overall it took more time to process than other UHaul locations .Vinod A.
My online order was wrong and difficult to correct, it was a struggle to get off the lot (1hr) but mostly because of online. 45 minutes to return vehicle due to deposit refund difficulties (online).LEE EVAN S.

The 10ft trailer I used got an alarm halfway through my trip with it saying it needs to have its breaks serviced, and I can attest that they do. I had the foresight to test everything before heading out of the yard, and quickly realized I had to break well before the need too in order to compensate on the delay. Other then that, it went quite smoothly. The man helping me at the desk was very relaible and helpful in getting everything in order.Joshua G.

1) The self-serve option requires a second phone number and someone NEEDS to answer or else the app won't work. This could be okay if it wasn't a SECRET requirement. Adding more drivers works AGAINST you - they could have three phone numbers for you and your spouse etc, and yet need one more at time of pickup. 2) There were some other issues (no big deal) so we didn't get the truck the app said, nor a second truck. We were given a different truck which worked fine even though various plastic was broken (e.g. air diverters, the ends of control rods, etc) 3) The mileage was higher than the system thought, so we are being charged more money. The prior issues took enough time that the location was closed and this could not be addressed until later (still TBD). However, the personal service we got was great. I blame the system (or the head office) for everything that was a real problem.Ben B.
The guy in hanwell was great. I did have 1 issue when I called to inquiry about getting a uhaul. I called the Charlottetown centre to ask questions, they answered my questions but then actually rented me a uhaul in Fredericton at 10AM on oct 24. I didn't want this so I went into the facility in Charlottetown to ask if this was legit, and they said yes. I said I called to ask question not book. I asked if they can at least change the location and the time, buddy said he cannot change location as it provides a trailer to a location that has 1. As for the time they cannot as somebody will call me the day of the rental. I asked him if he was serious.....buddy was pissing me off by this point so I told him to cancel everything. I went home, got online and I booked everything I wanted (Location at Hanwell and a time for 1PM). Buddy in your office is a piece of shit.Michael S.

Everything was clean and generally well maintain with one exception-the back door of trailer was extremely hard (almost impossible) to open.Chris T.
It was a fast process, having all your documents uploaded and all ready to go for when you got to your site for pick up.Judy N.
Again, my partner and I were extremely disappointed with the drop off process. U-Haul needs to update their information because this location is no longer called B & B Investments. In addition to the business change, the outside of the building is different than pictured on google maps. This misinformation caused my partner and I to drive around the location for another hour looking for the drop off site. The new building/business was the same 1749 address but that was very poorly marked. It was difficult to see from the road. The U-Haul sign at the drop off location was tiny and only visible when up close to the building (not from the road when looking for location).Julia B.
