It said our truck should have had 3/4 a tank of fuel it was on empty with the low fuel light on. The they should have made sure that vehicle had fuel before sending it out.

The woman who called was very short with me and rude. We dropped the trailer off where we thought it should go (by the rest of the trailers) but apparently it wasn't close enough to the highway. I did apologize for the misunderstanding but the woman hung up on me. We have always had pleasant service at uhaul until this encounter. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and doesn't treat all of her customers this way.

Have communication between all uhaul reps and the dealers. The dispatch and customer service team gave different information than the pick up location and I had to call back and forth to figure out my own issues when that should have been done internally. You do not need added stress when moving. Also we were supposed to pick up in Hinton area. We were aware they might not have a uhaul in Hinton but the rep on the phone at the time of booking said we will make sure there is one close in the area for you if not. Two days before our only option to pick up was stettler Alberta (4,5 hours away). Luckily my mom was able to pick up the uhaul as they live in Red Deer. But we were based in McBride BC. Honestly the whole set up and pick up experience was awful and I don't think I will be using uhaul again.

The owner of this pick-up location did not return either call I made after leaving a message to do so. I had no clue that I was to make a phone call upon arriving at their location to do an over-the-phone check in, because they didn't return my call when I started the check-in process. I checked in online thinking that was all I needed to do when I couldn't get a hold of anyone, and drove out to the location at the time of pick-up. Luckily someone at customer service was able to help me and get in touch with someone who could sign out the truck for me, when no one was on site where the truck was. This person was very helpful and patient with me.

The location is easy to find access. Nobody around to due up the contract. Had to call a fellow by the name of Simon in Edmonton as I was unable to access the contract.without filling out a membership. This was a little inconvenient.

The person who helped me at this location where I returned the truck was helpful. I returned the truck the evening prior to the day arranged for its return. She was happy to help and provided all necessary information and assistance. Thank you UHaul staff for a great experience.

It is out in the middle of nowhere and since it is essentially a self-serve location, you have to hope that everything works, that there is enough cell coverage, and that the App works. All of those things were dicey for me. It took almost an hour out in the freezing cold waiting on hold and not having the app working properly until we found a way to make it work. Then there was the worry that the truck wouldn't start (since it was freezing cold) and nothing was plugged in. In the end, it worked, but it was frustrating. I don't necessarily blame the operator, but the system was painful.

This place is extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and even admitted that when one reserves a vehicle, that doesn't necessarily mean that individual will be able to obtain the vehicle which was reserved. Despite being reserved, if someone presents with some payment before the scheduled pick up for the referral - that person will obtain the vehicle - leaving the individual who reserved the vehicle without a vehicle. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

You should be able to get a hold of someone if you are having trouble picking up and returning your unit. Was put off no one got back to me just my email. Then a day later had to wait on the phone for a hour to talk to a person and I am still waiting to here about my bill it has been 5 days Not very happy.

The place didn't have a dolly and she was rude about it Trailers should have trailer jacks and not to be picked up the front by hand as I had sore back and my wife couldn't pick it up eather At the place should have a sign saying we're to go for the office when u pull in to there yard She was rude about getting the trailer

I was Little over on the mileage, I thought they would not charge me for the extra, also the fuel tanks gauge was iffy and they charged me for 1/8 of a tank which was over 20 dollars.

Phyllis was very rude , Didn't have anything ready cost us a day and an hour the next day each time we tried to pick up truck. She lied told us we had 2 days , never gave us a contract or paper or an email. So unprofessional. Phyllis in the end charged us 169 for 1 day rental, then continued to charge my credit card after without my knowledge for another 360. This is by far the absolute worst experience I've ever experienced with uhal/ Phyllis. So disappointed don't go to diamond p ranches in settler she will screw you over.

Uhaul didn't have the truck I reserved an month prior to my move. They called the day before and could only provide us with a truck half the size we ordered 100km from our location. To retrieve this we needed to use the truck share app which would not work. We spent 1,5 hours on hold with Uhaul who never answered. Tried contacting the location. We used online chat where 3 different agents jjst left the chat part way through. It took me an extra 6 hours to get the truck we didn't get home until almost midnight. We didn't get the dolly we reserved. We couldn't get assistance. My vehicle was damaged driving to get the truck because nobody told us we would be 4x4ing through farmers feilds to pick up the truck in the middle of the night. We were also told all km's and gas would not be charged as we got half the truck we ordered and them had to do multiple trips. I had to pay movers for double the hours estimated die to the small truck provided.

Your rates for mileage calculations were not very transparent. Also you charge the moment the estimated mileage is exceeded but if a person comes in well under the estimated mileage you do not adjust and refund any portion. That was not very clear and unfortunately an assumption was made that mileage was charged at actuals upon return of vehicle.

Nothing was amazing service. Could bundle Kilometres in like 100 included in rental price would have been nice when you spend 250 on a rental for 3 days then get stung will another 114 dollars for kilometres.

The company really has to get on maintaining equipment. There were 2 tires with holes of the 4 upon arrival. They were repaired quickly down the road but this ended up costing me 2 hours. I was on a tight schedule so this was quite inconvenient. This isn't the first time we've come across issues like this with previous rentals. This is not directed specifically at this location but the U-Haul company as a whole. The location was welcoming and accommodating.

The whole process was a shit show. I spent 4 hours booking a truck and the person just redid the whole process and wasted our time for over an hour. Her drop off time was wrong. I was charged for an appliance dolly not a box moving one so that was useless to us and I still want my money back for that.

Uhaul reps unsure where this location is. Google maps, advises location 15 km west of stettler on a bridge. Location approx. 8 km east of stettler. Rep has mentioned she has called uhaul many times about this and deals with upset customers frequently.
