I have rented from other UHaul locations in the past but this was the first one where I was treated royally and was truly interested in my experience with their vehicle. Moving pads and furniture dolly was reserved but not provided at time of truck pickup. The business hours of this location are extremely limited so pickup during non-business hours is the only realistic option. The UHaul website system used to pickup the truck is beyond abysmal. This rental experience has been the worst I have experienced, period. It took over an hour to pick up my truck using the website and customer service. I was on hold for 20 mins trying to get assistance with the pick up process. When they called my second person to verify my identity, she was also on hold for just as long trying to confirm my identity. The entire experience was exhausting, exasperating, and would be enough to make the Pope curse out loud. I would NOT recommend UHaul to anyone else. UHaul used to be a decent experience but your check in website and customer service are the pits. You are now on par with ComCast Xfinity customer service and that takes some doing to be THAT bad.Russell D.

Do NOT try to use Uhaul mobile check in/out, it does NOT work. Chat feature they tout on their website doesn't work either. I sat on hold for an hour to talk to someone to help me. However, the people at the rental site were AWESOME !!Michele M.

I was very grateful that the owner told me to take a picture of the milage before I left the lot. I did. When i returned the uhaul at another location they had me charged for 92 miles less than I started at and was charged for extra milage. When I explained the situation I was credited that amount because I had proof of what milage I had leaving the lot.George C.

The pick-up sucked big time!! Everytime I clicked on pick-up I was logged out!! I called customer service and the chicken transferred me to a number that the wait time was 20 minutes!! If not for the wonderful assistant Holly from the location of where I picked it up at, I wouldn't have been able to get the trucking on moving day!! I am highly upset with uhaul and will definitely be looking at other places next time I move.Zachary M.

The vehicle tire pressure monitoring system light was on. The vehicle was shaky and not operating properly. To ensure safety, these things should be checked before putting it on the inventory.Vishal G.

A good safety feature would be to install non-slip treads at the end of the truck bed (where you step up and down). That area was very slippery with and we almost fell several times. Otherwise, the experience was great!Susan L.

The pickup truck I rented was new, which was great; however, it had an extremely strong odor of cigarettes that made driving the vehicle unbearable. Further, I was overcharged by (1) day, and now have to dispute that the return time was logged incorrectly.Gregory B.
At first I was disappointed with the service however when the owner came in everything changed dramatically. He was courteous, helpful and professional.dennis K.
The equipment time changed from 9 am to 10 am, no problem. We got an alert for that. Then it changed to 2:30 pm. We had a 12 hr reservation. We weren't notified till we drove to the location and were notified then. This shortened our time to use the truck, though we still had the 12 hrs. I had another rental the next day (bigger truck) and it was even worse. They changed my zip code, so my location changed and I was never notified. When I called the dispatcher blamed us and said the location we put in, they were giving us a closer locationâ€¦ it was actually twice as far. So we had to cancel it. Never using uhaul againRoy O.

Barry's Auto came to the rescue after Kelly's world class auto totally screwed me over stranding me there with no truck, no response, nothing. Not sure if that's uhaul's fault or what but despite spending a half hour setting up a reservation with a big old â€œguarantee â€œ that my 15' truck would be there and all 6 people i had waiting for me to help me move would have a truck to move. After 45 minutes on hold with uhaul and no response i said fuk you to the option of waiting at Kelly's World class auto and went where there was actually a living person that could help me, Barrys Auto in Pottstown. The employees there were kind and respectful and I highly recommend going there if you need a uhaul. Overall I'm disgusted with Uhaul and they're empty promises and lack of customer care, very disrespectful. Thanks again to everyone at Barrys and hey Uhaul, where's my discount since I originally rented a 15' truck but got screwed so i had to spend more to get an available 26' gas guzzling beast instead?Daniel O.

The lock to unlock the box seemed a bit outdated / worn and the letters would not easily stay in line, and we had to wiggle the lock to open. Possibly look into updating those locks. Everything was great once we got the key !Amber F.

Uhaul website should not offer truck sizes that are not really available. This is the second time, I've booked with Uhaul only to have a call back the following day offering a smaller size vehicle.Cheryl H.
