The U-Haul App is the WORST App EVER. I will go out of my way to NEVER Rent anything, ever again, from U-Haul, solely because the U-Haul App is terribly BAD.
MARK SThe rental itself was great and the people at the location were extremely helpful. Your app, though, is clumsy and not intuitive...difficult to use and quite slow to complete.
Michele CIt took a few minutes to figure out how to complete the rental online once I got to the location but all in all I would say it was easy.

PATRICK CPlease make it a bit more clear in your advertising that just because a pick-up location can be chosen, it doesn't mean they will have the truck that you want and you may have to go elsewhere. I had to scramble to change my plans when the pick-up location I chose did not have the truck I wanted and I had to go a much further distance to pick up the truck I wanted. That distance ate into my maximum allowed distance and I was very nervous I was going to go over and be charged more.

Edward DU-Haul app was not technically up to par. It kept timing out, was clumsy to use. Wasted about a half hour trying to get the code to open the lock box.

James MSmall place. Difficult to get rental products but they are usually nice. Since I dropped this off a day or so before it was due in, the place was closed and I parked the trailer just up against another trailer to protect the moving pads inside.

David HI reserved an enclosed trailer due to the impending rain. The roof had a leak which caused damage to a piece of furniture.
Mark TI wish I had called beforehand to double-check where I could place a truck and auto-transport. I had room, but I suspect it may be difficult for others. Nothing to fault the location over, but maybe can include information in the app about parking details in advance since I dropped off after-hours and ahead of schedule. Was very easy to drop off, though!
KaLynn HThe trailer did not have lift jack for raising the tongue off the hitch. Luckily I didn't have to disengage from vehicle.

Nancy MEmployee at this location insisted on hooking up the trailer to my truck. Didn't tighten the coupler and my trailer came off ball while driving down the road. Luckily caught by safety chains but was very scary. Employees here shouldn't be allowed or required to hook up trailers.

TRACY MI was given a trailer without working taillights and was told they worked, they did not and i did not find out until that night when leaving my house to make my move to florida, i incurred over 500$ in hotel charges because i was unable to travel at night . It was very upsetting that i was allowed to leave with a malfunctioning trailer. On top of being forced to drive an extra 2 hours out of my way to get the trailer from my original reservation. Will not be using uhaul again.

Christina SThe uHaul web site could work much better with respect to inputs for round trip rentals. I had to call the local vendor and she also had problems which she figured out how to circumvent. Additionally, the drivers license business is a mess. I asked for online and it did not work right. Then I found that I also had a text message which allowed me to photograph the license but then sent a message saying it did not work. I eventually forced it through but a lot of time was wasted.

Darren Wexplain that there is an expiration time to a reservation when making said reservation, especially if the store will be closed during the scheduled pick-up time. one would assume that a 24 hour rental would be available to pick up essentially at any time during that timeframe in theory, again particularly when the location is closed.

Anissa HAgain, the U-haul website/application failed. I returned the truck Saturday and still have not gotten confirmation. I wasn't given the location for drop-off until afternoon and I had to return after hours. There was not a good place to park the truck and then spent over 45 minutes on hold because the app kept coming up with an error every time I tried to submit pictures. The first rep (after being on hold over 30 minutes) informed me that he could only answer general questions and we would have to speak with a supervisor and then put me on hold for another 15 minutes at which point I took pictures on my phone to prove I had returned the truck and left. I will never rent from U-haul again. The first rep admitted they were having major issues with the website and it kept crashing. If you want everything to be electronic then you should make sure it works. Very frustrating experience trying to follow instructions that would not work with no assistance available to speak with someone and work through the issue on the phone both before pick up and after drop off. I still have not received confirmation that the truck I rented was considered returned.
KIMBERLY CI picked up the truck with 3/4 tank of gas, I returned it with 3/4 tank of gas, THEY CHARGED ME TO FILL IT about $14
EDDIE TThe only issue was they did not include the preordered moving blankets. We did get a credit for these without issue, so it was only a minor inconvenience.
