Drop off location was a bit confusing. when I called them they said I could leave the truck parked at the location's address, but when I got there I was told I had to park the truck a block away and then come back with the keys. Although in the end they said I could leave the keys in the truck at the parking lot.

JAZMIN TI was moved from a different location to this one and expected 7:30 in person access but this location has 8:15 access at the earliest. The reservation personnel should have informed me of the change but did not. This truck pulls right slightly so it probably needs an alignment. This truck has a rear brake squeel and may need attention.
Dann PPrevious uhaul user was 2 hours late when they should have delivered it the night before. This uhaul owner here should have been checking the schedule the morning of and immediately calling the previous clients when they saw the uhaul wasn't back. Thankfully we didn't book professional movers but if we had, we'd be on the hook for 2 hours of zero labor as we waited for the uhaul to be returned. They also have zero overspill parking when their lot is full. They are fundamentally a mechanical shop but also do uhaul on the side so when their lot is full, there's nowhere else to park it so you have to park on the road or in their neighbors lot which doesn't make their neighbors too happy. Don't use this place unless wildly necessary or honestly just spend the $500 and get a moving company to do it for you, it's money way better spent and what we'll do next time.

Brandon MMy experience with this U-Haul location was nothing short of a nightmare. First, I had to go to a different location just to pick up the truck, adding unnecessary hassle to the process. Then, upon returning to the rental site after loading my personal belongings, I found that the rear door lock was malfunctioning. The owner's dismissive response, suggesting I buy my own lock, was both insulting and unprofessional. To add insult to injury, on April 11th, 2024, I discovered that all my belongings, including a couch and boxes, were drenched in water due to poor sealing on the truck. This is unacceptable, especially considering my past positive experiences with U-Haul. The lack of customer service and the subpar equipment at this location have left me thoroughly disappointed and disillusioned. U-Haul should be ashamed to associate with such incompetence.

Andrea GSmall auto shop with very limited parking. Trucks were kept off site across the road behind a nearby restaurant. Truck was full of water because of a recent snow melt. Staff member did help to remove the water after being informed.

Roberta OI went to the pickup location as per the website. After starting the self serve pickup, I was sent to a 2nd location, about 1 km away, to find the truck. There were no dollies in the truck as I had requested. And the keys were in the lockbox which was back at the original location. Pickup and return were a complete gong show. Never again will I use this location.
Barbara FOverall, it went smoothly. The truck was too big for 20 boxes! I could have gone elsewhere, rented a van and maybe pay a little less.
CHANTAL GThere is some confusion with the process as described in the app. It tells you to go to the vehicle which is parked a few buildings down the street, but then once you confirm the vehicle number, it tells you a code for the lock box which is back at the auto shop. So there was some driving back and forth between the vehicle itself and the lock box in order to get the key. The instructions should tell you to get the key before you go find the vehicle.

Abhishek RAppliance dolly that was requested was not provided. I advised the location when I returned the rental but I was still charged for it.
Brent CThe key and the Truck are in separate Locations, which means extra drive and more issues when following the return steps on the app which needs to verify the location and I wasn't able to take a picture as required and I guess this was the reason to charge me an extra 20$.

It was after hours but luckily the employee was still at the location and was able to help me return the truck and she closed the account.

Jason JThe $80 late fee was excessive considering the requirement to log into Uhaul to return the truck. It was on site by the required time, the office was closed, so the digital approach was the only option. Not acceptable, and this Will definitely be a deciding factor in future rental. Your competition does not require this added step that turns into simply a case grab, and additional tax, if you will. Most disappointing.

DAVID DThis experience is definitely the worst I had with Uhal: - the uhal truck was located at a different place than the one on the app. I was driving looking for the truck with no clue utile I found it at another garage that is 3 min drive away. - the lock box access code was not provided through the app and I had to call and wait 15 min on the line to get. - the lock code contained the wrong key, which cause me another drive back and forth to the garage and another 15 min of wait time with customer support. - the uhal place is run by a used car dealer and he had many used cars parked on the very narrow garage he had. I hit one of his cars that are parked in a wrong spot because of the driving back and forth between where the truck was parked and where the lock box was mounted. This is the last time I will rent a truck from uhal. You wasted my time, money, and effort in this poor location. I really wish that there is a rating that is less than poor to chose. Luckily there are other truck rental vendors who value their customers more.

Kevin BPlease improve instructions how to retrieve the key. Because there were two separate locations involved. One where the key box was, the other where the truck was parked. I wasted time looking for some key box only to be told that it was in the other location.
JUNARD LThe truck was parked in a different location far from the address on the website and you have to go back-and-forth if you are using self check in. The truck was covered with ice and it had a flat tire. Strongly not recommended.

Jean CWrong mileage listed on contract. Owner listed the mileage on the contract as 50km less than what it actually was. Truck was late in arriving. App did not work to sign truck back in. Truck location parked at different address than actual office. Would not recommend. Very poor experience.
Sarah SThe trucks are parked off site ( 1/2 km away). So the on-line process is not easy to follow. Having to drive back and forth during the process. The process asks you to verify the truck and then get the keys. Should be the other way around. Very frustrating and time consuming. Also, recommendation to filling the gas tank should be much more prominent before you start the check -out procedure.
Guy SThe location of U-Haul was not the location of the vehicle. The keys are at one location and you have to travel down the road to the actual vehicle. The steps required involve you going back in forth and very time consuming. I barely used any gas as was charged nearly $30 when I used maybe $10. Uploading pictures is a problem, overall experience was terrible.
Guy-Robert GLocation where I need to be to pick up the keys (i.e. Bells Corners Auto at 1912 Robertson Rd.) is different than the location of the U-Haul truck. I have to make a drive to get to the truck. This was such a hassle when I came back to return the truck. I was using the online return process and it was very user-unfriendly and a real hassle. I had to start the process at 1912 Robertson Rd. but then the application / online process asks for specific pictures that I have to upload. That meant driving back and forth to get to where the truck was parked and then back to the location that I am supposed to be at. Was unhappy with this and it took more time to go through the online tool and do this back and forth. I am not recommending this location or the web-based process. Too many steps and at one point things froze and I couldn't complete the process in time. Very stressful.

David HI rented a cargo van from this UHAUL location twice in the last 6 months. The service that I received was beyond my expectation. I highly recommend this UHAUL location.

ADAM Kexpensive for 4 hours when they say its 19,95 plustax/ per km was under 150 km did move an tiem in town and cost me 142$ plus gas should of went with discount its cheaper!

Lionel CThe vehicle was NOT parked at the address providing the rental. It meant I had to take the key from the rental address and get myself to a restaurant located down the road in whose parking lot the vehicle was parked! Upon return, I had to do the reverse; I had to first drive to the rental address, begin the closing process online to allow the UHaul website to access my location to verify the van was parked at the rental address, DRIVE IT BACK TO THE RESTAURANT down the road to PARK it as told by the rental location, and then GET A RIDE BACK to the RENTAL Address to RETURN the KEY!!! Please appreciate how frustrating a process this was in my experience. I was fortunate that my wife was available to drive me back and forth; just imagine someone having to walk back and forth between the Rental Location and the Actual Vehicle Location! This is not how your business should operate; I won't use this Rental Location in future UNLESS they actually keep your UHaul vehicles at the SAME ADDRESS AS THEIR RENTAL OFFICE location.
