Excellent service when there pick up was reserved they tried to locate another location that had on one however I got a cargo van and it worked just fine thank you

Dexter NatuelPlease do not rent out a vehicle with a "check engine light" on. It is unsafe for a customer to be driving a U-Haul vehicle with the "check engine light" on and it is an un-nerving driving experience with this issue. But it seems this is an issue that does not concern U-Haul otherwise the vehicle with a "check engine light" on would not be in the parking lot as a vehicle to rent.

Sara KhanThough the service at the location was satisfactory my experience with my truck rental was not recieved the keys to the truck and found trash was left on the cup holder as i took pictures on the app and the distance i stated i would drive i recieved the truck with only a 1/4 of gas so i had to go fill up at gas station pay 50 additional dollars for it to fill up to 1/2 a tank. And while driving the engine on the truck began to make a loud screech sound unsure if it was the belt or fan but did not sound normal either way i reported it the lady at the counter of the furniture shop (where i rented the truck) after i returned the vehicle an was informed they dont do the maintenance on the vehicles they report that to uhaul so in short was not the best experience for the prdsiced i paid
Erik BenitezRented the truck to keep furnishings dry. The brand new box spring and mattress was soaking wet when I got to my destination. I planned to sleep on the night arrived. Ended up sleeping on the floor. That sucked after a long day in the trip and being 11 pm by the time I was unloaded.

Dexter NatuelThis was NOT my reserved drop off location. After I picked up the truck, the drop off location was moved against my will. Pain in the ASS getting to and from this site. Terrible traffic. When I dropped off, it wasn't clear where to drop off the key. NO SIGNAGE AT ALL in this regard. The U-Haul app froze up during the drop off process. I had to call U-Haul. No one could help me. I felt stranded. U-Haul is such a two-bit joke of an operation.

Dexter NatuelStaff at the pick up place were friendly and moderately helpful, They basically handed us the keys and told us to return the truck with the same amount of gas. The gas tank was on empty when we picked it up. It was lucky there was a gas station not too far down the road. My main complaint was that UHAUL switched up our reservation. I reserved a truck in Davis, CA and the day before the booking it was switched to West Sacramento. This meant driving our car 30 mins to pick up the truck, driving back to Davis (another 30 mins) and then driving the truck back to West Sacramento (another 30 mins). This added 1,5 hours onto an already long moving day. Add onto that having to look for gas in an unfamiliar area before we did the drive. Not the best experience. The truck was pretty dirty, but did what we needed it to do.

So far as the truck I rented, it was quite dirty and lots of spider webs on it. So over all , everything worked out just fine.

Dexter NatuelMy reservation included 2 different forms of insurance, which were removed on the final rental contract. When I tried to have them put back on, the customer service person I spoke to acted like they had no idea to what I was referring. It was a trailer, and there was a separate towing insurance. But it was removed. And I don't appreciate anything being removed from what I selected on my reservation. For any reason, without asking me.

Dexter NatuelThe experience there at Big Al's furniture was amazing. The customer service there the people who work there were just phenomenal. And to boot, she almost had me convinced that I need a new couch to go in the back of the truck that I rented haha. The only thing that I would I don't know recommend if you will, I had to take my car that I have probably put about $6 000 into trying to fix back down to the mechanic in Lodi and it was about I think 75 to 85 miles round trip and it cost me almost $200 for the truck and trailer and that hurt really bad. Other than that everything else was A- plus.
