Everything was prepared when I arrived, the process went smooth and quick
RODRICK BWill fill this out after I see how uhaul handles my disputes . However I can tell u that this location had charged me for fuel on both rentals I had to have over the craziness if trying to get my rental . Which resulted in me having to rent to trucks and I accomplished nothing that I needed to with these trucks I had to rent. Anyway the 1st rental I got was full wen I got it the owners at this location told me it was full and to return it full . Which I did I stopped at the Tom thumb prior to returning my rental at which time I filled the tank up . I was charged for 5 gallons of gas for $22 . I didn't realize this at the time . So after returning the first rental I had to pick up another rental Which went fine but I had gotten this rental they told me it was at half a tank and return it at half a tank . I had a change of plans and decided I was returning the truck. So I did wen they opened the next morning. No one was giving me any kind of break on the mileage , rental on this complicated mission of trying to get the 7dsy rental. So I had only put 20 miles on the truck which wouldn't even be enough miles to move the fuel gage but I had stopped at Tom thumb and put gas in to be safe. Which I did so I then turned the truck in and was told I get the receipts later so everything was fine . Now mind you that when I was getting these 2 rentals there was no paperwork or the contract given to me at time of rental like they used to do . So later on this day I finally got my paperwork . I printed it it out and looked at it and both times I was charged for fuel. Now the 1st rental I had filled up till the handle shut off it couldn't get any fuller so I totally can't understand why they charged Me fuel well on the receipt where the fuel gauge is that they r supposed to mark the amount of gas that was there I beginning then 1 for returned . I'm not sure which gauge it was on paperwork bc it only showed the 1 gaige and it was marked 3/8s of a tank not full . So whichever the gauge was for was not correct . I then looked at the second receipt and I was charged for fuel again after putting gas in b4 dropping off and again there was only the one gauge marked on receipt and this 1 said 9/16 of a tank . Which again wasn't true bc it should have been a half tank just like they told me . So I got all this information after the fact so I didn't have paperwork to confirm anything with wen I left with rental bc I wasn't given any kind of paperwork. This is so wrong for a business to be doing . Who knows how many other people this has happened to . I have a cpl disputes filed with uhaul and I'm not sure how this will b handled so I can't offer any review of them directly at this time until I see wat the outcome will be . I'll b sure to post a review either way but all I know at this time is that I had the worst experience with my rental this weekend which ended up with me not getting the weekly rental with 750 miles like the original plan was . It ended up costing me $400 dollars on the rentals . I didn't get the weekly rental and the worst part of it all is that I couldn't get the same answer from any1 I talked to they all had different answers to the same question . 4 or 5 of my reservations got canceled with no noted reasons as to why . All the canceled reservations made it impossible to get anything done with weekly rental bc we ended up being Sunday still no weekly rental and a majority of the 3rd party hosts of uhaul were open so with the cost of mileage per mile at $1,19 cents a mile I couldn't afford to do what I had intended to do with the rental so the trucks sat in my yard not being used and me accomplishing nothing but wasting $400 . Terrible experience and the location or the arra manager wouldn't approve giving me any kind of break on rental or mileage which it was there choice. Then to top it off I was charged for fuel twice when I had already put the fuel used back on the way to return them. And not getting any paperwork till after the fact doesn't seem right either. So that's wat I have for now thanks will post the outcome
BRIAN EWoman was rude , didn't tell me my dolly wasn't inside the truck , didn't answer any of my questions . Back of truck was dirty had to sweep out before loading , inside of truck smelled and was dirty , not a good experience at all , one of the rear back up light out
ROBERT JAs stated above, all staffs were awesome. The lady that helped me extend my truck rental a day was wonderful! Sweet, kind, and efficient. I will have more needs, and I certainly will use these staff again to complete my move.

TIMOTHY OCharged $20 for checking in a trailer, what did they do that was different if I had waited till 10am vs me dropping it off that morning before they opened, it actually benefited them as they had a unit to rent as soon as they opened vs. waiting till mid-morning had I waited to return it.

Sonia LThe agent there was extremely friendly and kind. They young man there helped my daughter to back the trailer up and drop it. They noted right away the trailer had a bald tire and the young man was instructed to change the tire right away before it was rented out again.

Alexis BI did not drive the miles that were claimed. I drove about half of what I was charged. This cost me way more money than expected. Do not trust their record keeping methods. I also had to change my pickup time because they were leaving early. I was not instructed to take any photos at the beginning of my rental. This would have saved me those miles had I known I needed documentation and their records couldn't be trusted. I do not recommend this location .

donna sI'll start by saying there was nothing wrong with the truck, just something wrong with absolutely everything else. First off, the store's location wouldn't display properly in the app. The app displayed this location off of the coast of Nigeria even though it's in defuniak springs Florida, so my first hour was wasted on the phone with customer service to begin my rental which ate into my time. Locations didnt match so pickup didnt initially work. This is minor compaired to the rude business owner. 45 minutes after I drove away with my rental , the owner calls my wife and tells her I'm not welcome to park my truck in the clearly marked "bjs bait shop and uhaul customer parking". That I will be blocked in by the time I get back that afternoon at the end of my rental period and that she won't be back until Tuesday to unblock me. I paid 250 dollars for this rental, I'd say that makes me a customer . Why am I not welcome to use the customer parking without being threatened? My wife called me very upset and gave me the owners number, so I called her and let her know that I do not have a ride home if blocked in. That my wife is unable to drive. She said that was my problem. That no one is allowed to park in the clearly marked customer parking area in front of the store without her permission. I told her surely she has more sense than that and didnt need to block me in with her other trucks. That im a customer. She couldn't care less. As a result I did not fully utilize my time with the rental I paid way too much for. I rushed, left half of my belongings behind, just so that I could return the rental before the owner had my truck blocked in. I can see I'm hardly the first customer to rate this location one star due to the owners rude attitude. Uhaul, I won't use you again at this location and if you continue to allow this location to rent your trucks , it's going to greatly injure your reputation. This was an awful experience that left us feeling cheated and poorly treated. I lost 3,5 hours of my rental time . Who in the hell doesn't allow a paying customer to park in their parking lot? Was I supposed to fly there and fly home? What a disgrace!

Thomas BThe truck reeked of cigarette smoke. U-Haul also changed my reservation from Freeport (where I live) to Defuniak (25 miles away) with no explanation… just an additional 50 + miles of driving at $.89 a mile.
Jacob WHelp customer lift enclosed trailer onto the back of a truck while still on site at the U-Haul location. Trailer is very heavy to do by yourself without a jack.

ALAN NLocations for pickup & drop-off were easily accessible with pleasant customer service. As well as changing my drop off location via phone was simple.
Treasure SI have used a lot of U-Haul trucks over my 74 years, and BJ's is the best dealer I have ever had. Friendly, courteous, timely.

ROBERT SI won't rent from this location again. They treat you very poorly from the first conversation to the last. Honestly, I can't remember when customer service from a company was this bad.
