I chose to pick up the truck from the counter when I made the reservation, but nobody was there when I picked up the truck the next day, and I had to spend lots of time calling the customer service to get the key, in the rain. The 12V power outlet in the truck was out of order, and I had to make extra trip to get a cable to power my GPS. As a result of the time spent over the phone and on the extra trip, I missed my appointment to pick up my cargo with that truck. The rear tire pressure was about 50 psi, while the standard is 75 psi. It's dangerout to drive like that, and would lead to higher gas consumption, too. Obviously, the truck was not maintained properly.

PHIL PEARLMANSmooth process for pick-up and drop-off at the site. Since it is contactless the process could be improved if the instructions were more legibly written in bold ink as the they were very faint. .

Robert FrancoLocation was not open when it stated it was, I was left in the rain with no direction. Dolley was not ready and I had to find it in the garage. No instructions were given on how to access the truck. I would never recommend Bob's automotive to rent a UHAUL. Adam (territory manager) was great to interact with, if it wasn't for him I would have been stranded. I see there have been multiple negative reviews of Bob's the past three years and still nothing has been done y UHAUL. I candidly plan to publish negative reviews on all platforms and do not plan to ever use UHAUL again.

margaret mcenteeNo one at the location could help us, and the equipment we paid to rent wasn't readily available, we had to find it ourselves. The mobile web experience was horrendous. Signing in and out took hours and requires calling support 6-7 times.
Sana SheikhNobody was there to help. I was switched to this location last second and had to travel 10 minutes extra each way. Just a phone number taped to door. Also, no parking near by at all. I was very disappointed with this experience.

MATTHEW SHENTONI am not pleased that there was no counter person to check out the van when I picked it up and when I returned it. It was difficult to use the phone application to being with. When I checked the van back in, the website said that someone will get back to me. No one ever did. I followed up the next day with a text message to ensure that everything was good, but again I did not get a response. I hope that this is not the future for u-haul for it is horrible. I will be needing a 26' or larger truck for a one way trip in the next few months but if u-haul has nothing but these personless operations when I need the truck, I most likely will do business with another company.

Nick AziziPick up and vehicle use was fine. Uhaul customer service could use some work though. I called them and was put on hold for what I was told would be 20-30 minutes. I didn't get my call back for almost an hour and a half later. Not a great feeling to be waiting that long. However the person who eventually picked up was helpful.

Ariel NaviCustomer service reps were not helpful at all. Also the checkout method was horrible. The location services placed me a mile away and prevented me from fully checking out the vehicle without telling me I was not in the right location. I was right next to the van in the same location I picked it up. Not my fault. Improve your system before telling me I need to pay $25 for a convenience fee.
John Van FossenMy experience with the online process, both with pre-registration and at the time of return, was really frustrating. I couldn't get links to work correctly, either on my phone or my computer. There was also confusion about my being asked to do the same thing multiple ways. And because I couldn't the link to work correctly on my phone at the time of return, which was after the facility had closed, I had to be on hold for 50 minutes waiting to report the return to a phone representative. And then, I was STILL charged as if I had returned the vehicle the next day. And then I had to be on hold with a phone representative AGAIN to report that.
Michael NottAs per website there was supposed to be person to complete the process - no one was there. Then after returning within 4 hours, I was still charged $120 instead of $50ish because the system is not in place. Bob's Automotive Repair do not care as it seems they are just for parking ticket. It has been more than 24hrs and no communication on my issue.

Osvaldo De La Cruzthis is one of the worst car rental experience I have. the person talk to men in a command order without allow me to ask any question. and tell me he will not give me the car, if I don't obey his command. I understand I need to provide some information. but at least the staff should be some sort of explanations.

Robert JohnsManager was not on the premises. He showed up 5 minutes later.and then he basically told me to use my phone to complete the rental that I had booked days earlier. It was a long 40 minutes past the time I arrived until I drove off the lot.
David Prowlerowner is abusive and nasty. Doesn't want to help and curses. He shouldn't be allowed to represent you. Arrived at 730 for reservation and he said he didn't care, he opens at 8. I had completed all documents all I needed was key. He refused to give it to me until he was 'open'. A horrible location and person.
Daniel DickerEquipment was damaged. Missing a marker light. No U-Haul representative was onsite. Gentleman who subcontracted the building called representative on the phone. Location was over crowded with parked cars and unable to safely park trailer. U-Haul representative called me the next morning making threats because he did not do his job and was worried about getting in trouble when I reported him.

Jennifer PetersMan at the pickup location was nasty, does not provide any information about after hours fees ("just leave the key in the Dropbox and you're all set"). I filled the gas back up past where it was originally and still got charged for gas. Crooked
JONATHANMICHAEL RATHGEBERThe guy a Bob's is NOT very friendly! at all. I reserved a 15' truck to move. The keys were not in the lock box! No hand truck. Hence no truck to move us. Nassau manager accommodated us with the only thing available - a van. Which moving made things very stressful. That said, the manager gave us the van for 24 hours and didn't charge us. Where it would have taken us just one trip with a 15' truck it took multiple trips - in the rain. I would never rent from that place again (Bobs). Nor recommend it to anyone.
JORDANM JOHNSONEquipment was left as is by the previous renters. not dirty but not clean. I needed to wipe down the windshield on the inside to see out in the glare of the sun. I was provided with no information that the store would be closed.

Richard tortoraI booked the 10' truck for 24/7 Truck Share pick-up at 7am. But when I arrived that morning, U-Haul changed the pick-up time to 9am (Bob's opening time). Worse yet, U-Haul did not email me before doing so. At 9am, I picked up the truck with 24/7 Truck Share, without seeing anyone. So it is unclear why U-Haul had to unilaterally change my reservation. I don't think Bob's had anything to do with this, but I am sharing here because it occurred at Bob's location.
John ReadyThe person I delt with was not friendly. Apparently he's very protective about his parking. I didn't feel taken care of at all. Would not recommend. I will be renting from official locations moving forward. Just generally got the feeling that he didn't care about the rental business/.

Ivan CastilloOwner would not let me keep my vehicle in his empty lot and he expected me to take the U-Haul vehicle and my own at the same time by myself. He cost me 90 minutes of my 6 hour rental period and charged me an extra fee for being 30 minutes late. I would never recommend this location and will be contesting his unauthorized charges.
Alexander AkersI was ripped of. Drove 14 miles returned the truck 3 hours early and was charged 7,50 for gas. I returned vehicle with the same amount of gas that I received crooked
URIISRAEL BLOCH1) Employee at this location didn't understand the idea of online check-in, and had taken the keys out of the dropbox to hold inside. 2) handtruck / dolly were not placed inside the van, so you also need to ask for them as they were not loaded 3) The above two issues caused a delay of about 20-30 minutes. 4) No one tells you that if you submit the online return info after you have returned home, you may get billed for an extra day.
James WinchesterThere was no guarantee of a truck being available at that location. Also, online reservation indicated no rental was available the weekend of Aug 1-2, so I rented Aug 3 but went to the location on Sunday Aug 2 to see if a truck was there and rentable. It turns out there was. The local rep put me in touch with the Northeast manager, Adam, who was very helpful and met my needs. Everything after that was smooth.

ANDREWH ABRAMOWITZExtremely rude staff member. Would not let me park my car in his empty parking lot and instead made me park on the street, forcing me to rush so I did not get a ticket. This is the least customer service oriented car rental I have ever had.
