Was charged for furniture dolly even tho the rep who ordered it from a different location for us said we wouldn't be. The dollynwas not on the dirty truck when picked up. Had to sweep it out before loading. Guy at the location said there were some blankets jn the truck. They were wet and dirty. Good thing he was just giving them to us. Pretty sure he just didn't want to take them out of the truck. Our move went well and the truck got us there. Wouldn't recommend this location, but, would recommend UHaul to others.

Make sure when I reserve a truck for 8 AM that I'm able to get it at 8AM not 2 hours later (10am) also of there isn't any equipment available do your job and contact the customer who is paying 160 dollars for a truck. Also the truck had poor poor steering ability the alignment wsaas Waaaay off this has been the most dangerous and time wasting service I have ever used. And you guys didn't take off taxes when I put my tax exempt card in. Overall experience was HORRIBLE I would NEVER recommend this place.

My overal experience was average. The booking dept changed my preference location twice. The clerk at 259 Cockshut road was friendly and courteous. The vehicle was average in cleanliness but the low mileage 15ft truck was very practical and drove pretty steady.

The transaction itself was fine. Ways to improve? Hold customers reservations. My reservation was changed last minute to a smaller truck with a different time frame than what i needed. Was very much NOT happy with that.

I would suggest that pick-ups be closer to where I live. I had to go over 15 kms to pick up my vehicle. The irony is that right next door to my home was a parking lot of numerous vehicles waiting to be used

We live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and was assured that we would pick up in Burlington. Obviously that didn't happen. The person at this location was not organized. It was what I call a “gong show”. If I didn't need it I would have walked away.

We used a toll route (407ETR). We were invoiced by Uhaul in American dollars. This is completely unfair, as we rented a Canadian piece of equipment and traveled throughout Canada. It's unfair to be charged foreign exchange. Uhaul's help line was completely unhelpful. I would not recommend them again.

My last rental experience was the worst experience I have every had. I had to pickup my truck 20 minutes from the location I requested, I even drove by another dealers that had the truck I was using (not open on Sunday). The fuel amount on check out was wrong, I brought to the attention of all 3 reps during my move. The Brant Fuels rep changed my paper and initialed it. I had to drive back to the original requested location to get moving pad. The pads were damp and smelled the same. Lastly I got charged for extra mileage and fuel. As a result of all this, I will only be renting from U-Haul if i have no other options. Rob Thornton

Absolutely horrible customer service. The associate had no idea what to do, and essentially handed my husband the keys to the truck without completing any paperwork, no indication about where to drop truck off. When I had called a few days prior about pickup time, someone was supposed to call me back but never did. Just absolutely horrible location.

Scheduled for 7:30 am pick up, but facility did not open until 8 am. This was not communicated, nobody answered the phone when called. 1-800 U-haul number was at least 10 mins on hold each time called. Miserable customer service. Never again.

No moving blankets on site as per my order, the owner didn't know how to use the computer so he wrote down my credit card info so his son could key it in later. Garbage chip bags and paperwork from previous renter under seats. Cabin was gross smelling. Just a horrible experience. Had to drive to a different location to get my moving blankets. Still not sure what happened to my hand written credit card info.

The dealer did not care about helping me and he didn't even show me where the uhaul was I had to find it my self and it was soooo dirty it was unbelievable. I wish I could get my money back disappointed.

Send them to the closest Uhaul place to there house not 20 kilometers from there house. This guy was nice. But U haul sucks at trying to save the little guy money

do not send an old truck for a long trip... does nothing for your reputation....had to fix the door because there was such a wind noise...thankfully we had two auto body shop masters (licensed no less) with us on the trip that were able to make repairs so that we were not deaf by the time we hit Nova Scotia... has nothing to do with the location of pick up but with the truck itself... I am sure you just wanted to get it out of your yard...thankfully we made it all in one piece... without incident other that little power on the hills and AC would quit going up and blow like crazy coming down the hills as all the power was needed to climb them.. (we were on the main roads all the way, but there are a lot of mountains in New Brunswick and Cape Breton)

He actually asked if I need help to hook up trailer, I replied don't you have to do it? he did it, he did not even ask me to check if the lights worked, The chains dragged on ground. I checked the lights myself after he ran back in store, I tighten chains so they do not drag.

I had actually gone to another supplier - Self Storage on Dalkeith. They were experiencing difficulty with their computer system and could not do a debit transaction. Also since they don't take cash, I was left without a truck. Fortunately the girl who was there was very helpful and called around to find me a truck. She found a truck, but it was on the other side of Brantford almost to the reserve. This caused me to have to spend more on fuel than I should have needed. Also, the time spent trying to get this whole thing straightened out put me an hour behind, also the drive it took to get to the other uhaul location was 25 mins, again putting me behind. All this stress due to a computer problem. You need to address this situation and fast. Personally, I think I am entitled to a credit of some sort. The extra hour and a half to get a truck, the extra mileage to go from the north end of Brantford to the southend out by the reserve. Then do my move, then drive all the way out to the reserve again... adding more mileage than I needed and time. Just the inconveneience of time was very stressful. I am not a happy customer!!! No customer service. No help no advice. Equipment had a 6 inch 4 wire plug. Owner didn't even get out of his chair to help me locate an extension. Just shook his head and said he didn't know. So I sought my own remedy. If there wasn't an extension on another trailer I would not have been able to leave or move. Renting again this week but not from there. No way.

Please make sure that the vehicle we wished to rent is actually available at the advertised location. And perhaps try a little harder to not substitute a 10' truck with a 26' one. Although I appreciate we were not charged extra rent.

Ensure there is not period blood on the driver's seat, don't lie to the customer about the blood on the seat, don't take half an hour just to charge the customer let alone charge them incorrectly, get more training on how to do your job.

I am a professional driver. When I picked up the truck I did a proper circle check of the truck. It was down two liters of oil. rear marker lights were not working(attendant said "we do not look up there") the cab of the truck was dirty(windows were about 50% visability)the fuel level was just below 1/4 not the 3/8 maked on the bill. Part of checking out the truck on my part I noticed there was no licence/registration or insurance, the attendant told me they do not need it anymore that is contrary to Ontario law. I have rented your trucks in the past and any problems were resolved properly, I was very unhappy with the brant fuel location and if it had been the first time I rented a uhaul truck it would be last. I also found the ride of this particular truck to be very rough, I have in the past rented the same size they were much better

I ordered my original UHaul from a store on Dundas St and confirmed I had a 9am pick up time. I got a call the day before telling me they no longer had a pick up time of 9am and I could get it at 3pm. They said they cannot help me any other way but I had to call the 1-800#. So I called it and they sent me out to Cockshutt Rd. The Brantford pick up place was supposed to be on Tollgate Rd. I was doing the move from Tollgate Rd to Tollgate rd so there would have been no mileage. Instead of that I had to drive into the country to get my uhaul and pay out $30 in mileage. I would have not even used 2km and that would have only cost me $1.40. I am so very disappointed with the service here. I wish that someone would call me about this. Erica Straiko 519-774-3464. Minor items on trailer - license plate lamp out, 2 small rear marker lights out, one tire low on air. Other than that, the trailer (auto transport) was fine and easy to use.
