I had issues both checking out and returning the rental via the app. I had to request assistance from the office staff to check out the vehicle, and don't know what I would have done if my pickup time was when the office was closed. And I again had issues returning the vehicle and had to use a browser on my phone but lost progress when I went to take pictures (there's no way to take the required pictures during the return process, you have to upload a picture you've already taken, but I didn't know what pictures needed to be taken so i
Beth B.I reserved a cargo van well in advance & checked in for a cargo van. Upon arrival they said they are upgrading me to a truck. Not very happy, as I needed a cargo van, and they didn't have any left. I was very uncomfortable driving it, it didn't serve its purpose, actually made my job harder & it was a major inconvenience. What's the purpose of a reservation if I'm not getting what I needed?
Wendy K.I would be more concerned with the APP other than the location. The APP was not user friendly and had to call for assistance a number of times. I was supposed to pick up the truck at 4:30 p.m., but never left the location until 6:30 p.m., due to issues with getting access to the vehicle and poor weather conditions where I had to take pictures of the vehicle during a drenching storm. I had the wrong adaptor and she sent me off to a home improvement store to get the correct one. Then when I got back the ball on my hitch was the wrong size so she had the correct one and helped apply it to my vehicle. She was great!!!

Benjamin F.Gas tank was under 1/2 as originally stated (I have proof via photo), I filled it back to where it was left and was still charged for more gas. Employee who took care of check in attempted to charge me for $15 of insurance without even asking me. I politely declined it, which she still tried to insist I purchase. The truck was not properly maintained as it had a check engine light on and the back door was not properly secure. Will absolutely never recommend this location.

Susan M.My reservation was for the Point Pleasant Sunoco. When i arrived at 0730, the attendant said he had no reservation for me. The Uhaul 800 number said my truck reservation had been moved to Brick, 5 miles away and inconvenient to my move, but i was only informed by text at 0745!?! At the other location there were no Uhaul people, just a filling attendant. The rental truck was blocked by cars waiting for repair and keys had to be located. My personal vehicle could not be left on site but in a park and ride lot nearby. I did not leave the Brick pickup location until 0850, 80 mintues after my intended departure. U Haul's unilateral changes added two hours and 10 miles to my move, but the real problem was no communication. Poor corporate performance.

Richard T.Well for starters, maybe don't lie about the mileage you're charging clients. It's 66 miles foot to door to the destination I went to and I made no other stops and the receipt says I drove 182 miles. How do I dispute that? I didn't take a picture of the odometer but I should have. The van also stunk of cigarettes.

Tammy was nice enough to wait and process the paperwork in order for me to have the van within 15 minutes. She even advised me of an additional plan in order to save me money due to the fact I was traveling excessive miles. She was also very helpful when I returned the van . Great customer service ...
