Brian YTruck was full of broken glass and dirty. Location changed my drop off location without telling me. When I called to have it fixed the manager of the location told me that I was very rude that I was a miserable human being that he shouldn't have to deal with stupid customers like this and that I should never rent from U-Haul again. All because I said that driving 2 hours out of my way was not something I could do after dealing with that truck all day. That was the reason why I chose the location half a block from my new storage facility. I will never rent a U-Haul ever again

She was very accommodating to my needs. I highly recommend the Bridgeport U-Haul.

Patricia CI picked up the truck with 1/8 in gas. The alignment was veering to the left as well as the engine would shimmer the entire front when you went above 65. I had to travel from Saginaw to Detroit on the express way. This was a bad experience.

Steven AHonestly, our issue is more with Uhaul overall than with this specific Uhaul. Our overall Uhaul experience was horrendous to the point that we would NOT recommend Uhaul to others and will likely not use them again - especially the self service check in/check out we did at the Bridgeport location! The Bridgeport rental was one of the worst rental experiences we've ever had, and a lot of it had to do with a lack of communication from uhaul overall (the automated emails did not contain useful information). For example, we were not told we'd need to have either a lease, passport, or two people to call to verify our identity and that was a huge hassle, especially because that uhaul location was in a terrible service area where we had hardly any phone coverage making the process take a very long time. There was no way to indicate that a vent inside the vehicle was missing in the app, so we just had to trust that we wouldn't be charged for it. In addition, we ended up having to pay double for our trip due to some communication inaccuracies from the Uhaul schedule team as well as the original pick up location in Bridgeport being closed that day, and our desire to add insurance. Because no one was at the location, we couldn't add insurance on, and because the next nearest location took us more than 30 minutes to get to, we missed the 30-minute window to add it, and ended up having to return the vehicle to another location, and re-rent it out. This was awful as it meant we paid TWICE for the same trip.

Craig DThe app I used to pick up my truck after hours was not working. It took 30-45 minutes and a call to customer service to finally resolve my issue and get my truck. This pick up site was fine, truck was decent, and the staff I met the next day when dropping off the truck were very friendly.
Kari HMaeona was superb, she is very professional as well as personable. The building and green areas are kept looking great. The smaller vehicle was not available which was a good thing as we needed the next larger size.

Rob HThe truck we picked up looked old… wheels looked old, doors needed to be lubed or oiled to work better and then the Engine light came on on the return trip home and made all kinds of noises… two hours trip home… had to turn around and head back to our cottage and csll for help. My husband said the d one was likely to go… sputtered, backfired, loosing power… had to go drive 20 mint to get a replacement, unload our load, reload it on the replacement truck and then drive home- much delayed and my husband missed his doctor appt. with his cardiologist that we have been waiting for! Great about a discount but not a happy experience.
Mitchell GI had to drive 45 miles to pick up a one way rental. If you want people to rent from you it would be nice to have equipment available and to not shift pickup farther away one day before pick up. This location caused me to go over miles and cost me an additional $15 all because of pick up location. Saying truck is available and then moving pick up farther away is frustrating.
Scott FParking was poor. Other than that it was easy to drop off. Check engine light came on and the roadside service people were very delayed and not helpful. I will not be using uhaul again. It was a waste of 1,000$ and my time.
