One- have someone that can speak English!! Second have someone that knows something about what they are renting!! 3rd they charged my credit card 5 times….. Still waiting to be refunded for the same chargers That truck was the dirtiest truck I have ever been in, I literally had to pull over two blocks away and clean the inside of the windshield just to be able to see everything I touched in that truck was sticky and dirty, and it hadn’t been vacuumed out in at least a year

It's a convenience store so no place to sit and wait for transaction to complete. Owner was very nice even though uhaul software was not working right for him.

Not add stuff to people's orders without asking them first I declined coverage online but I had to go in to check in then they added coverage for 45$ and I never asked for it to be added nor approved it but got charged for it so hopefully they will be refunding that

There was very little signage and no directions on where to park. I was forced to move the truck after checking out.

I am a female who rented a 6x12 trailer. this location refused to help me take the trailer off the hitch. It way too heavy for me to do; the agent walked away from me and went in the store after I asked him to help; I followed him in and asked him again if he could help me and he told me no. I then asked him for confirmation return of the trailer and he told me I would get an email in15 minutes confirming; which I never got. . He not only refused to help me. He also did not close out the rental as I had returned as promised and on time. I had to pay a homeless man who was drunk or on drugs 20 dollars to help me take the trailer off my hitch as it weighed over 75 pounds as there was no one to help me. In the end I had to call customer service with the one 800 number so that they could send a regional manager to verify I returned the trailer so that I can have my rental closed out. This U-Haul location is in a very sketchy part of town; and they refused to help. I strongly recommend no one goes in to rent or return a uhaul, as it is not safe for a woman to be alone in this area. I also had a random drunk person coming up to me, in the uhaul store asking me for a ride. The person behind the counter heard all this happening but Did nothing to tell the homeless person to leave me alone in the store. Do not go to this location.

The location is so sketchy even during the daytime. No one was available in store to get me set up and had to speak to someone over the phone. It was so hard to understand him and it took forever to get it all set up as the website would not scan or upload my ID. I checked my email this morning to find out I was charged 3 times the amount I was quoted for the rental. I will never use this location again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Didn't have blankets available at all and was very short with reasons why. If they don't have them they shouldn't advertise they do when placing the order. Area is not very safe. Loads of intoxicated/high hallucinating loiterers hanging around walking through the lot. I've returned and rented here several times and is always like this. Didn't have the type of dolly needed either, but was available to order online only to get there and none there. Could have went two miles away at another location that is cleaner and not this run down/safety concerns. Pedestrians screaming unintelligible things directly at you while in the lot. Very sketchy.

I asked for certain trailer. They gave me a different one and stated that it would work like the one I wanted just closed in. NOT!!! Trailer did not have ramp on back. Had to get a lift to get mower into trailer. Informed u haul that this was the wrong trailer store stated "you have rented it now. They are not professional at all.

First of I rented a trailer from a location and when I get thare to pick it up they gave it to some one else regardless of my reservation then it takes almost an our to find another one and when they do finly I had to dr an our out of my way to pick it up from some one that didn't speak English ....

I was quoted a coat for a little over $900 for a trailer to move our things. A 6x12. We turned it in with no damage and no issues. I woke up this morning to a $2000 charge on my card. A charge I didn't authorize and as soon as it's no longer pending, I'll be disputing as a fraudulent transaction. I used UHaul for a one way move with an 8x5 trailer from one state to another in Dec 2020 and didn't have a problem. I was charged a $20 extra fee which was fine because they were closed and I couldn't use the app to check in plus I didn't drop it off in the same location ID picked it up at. Had they only charged my card the additional amount to complete the $900 quote, there wouldn't have been an issue but to charge me an additional $2000, I'm disputing the entire amount and they'll get nothing. This is fraud and UHaul has a long history of poor business practice according to lengthy list of complaints on the BBB website.

The truck only had 3/4 of a tank of gas not full as we were told when we picked it up. Blankets all over the place unfolded and all over back if truck. And I was originally scheduled for a location closer to my selling home and it was changed morning of pickup adding more miles to the trip.

I returned the trailer well before the 24hour mark and I have been charged over 3 times the amount that I was originally supposed to pay. I called the location and they told me to call the corporate number that they couldn't help.

These people do terrible buisness.... Quote me 550 to come to them then get charged 800 plus.... U haul check engine light came on both long after leaving with it. Very unhelpful with equipment. Very dissatisfied.

The manager was very patient with this 70 year young female that had just finished an overnight security detail. Vehicle was spotless inside and out, no outstanding issues from beginning to end of process. Very appreciative of service provided.

This location was great. HOWEVER, it was not where I made my reservation originally. The place I was supposed to pick up was closed at a time their hours said they are open, and I had to change my plans. The delay made me late for an engagement, and was not good business. I don't know how much control you have over your vendors, but this place should not be one. Brothers was great, New Generation Auto Sales should not be a vendor

Uhaul smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The gas was less than half full. Owner was in a separate location and the transaction had to happen over the phone. I also believe I was over charged

This is my second time rent from Brothers outlet and each time has been a smooth process. I currently have no recommendation because the next time I need to rent a vehicle, I know where I am going.

The wiring for the lights were damaged and it took over 2 hours to get it ready to use, I could not get it back by the appointed because of this and asked if I could return at first AM, they charged me an extra day, very distressing!! So much for the $50 guarantee that equipment would be ready in time...!

It's a small convenience store and did not feel safe. The owner told me to disconnect it myself and move it about 15 feet. I am 74. He finally came out and helped me.

Tires were bald and truck looked like it had been in an accident recently and it didn’t have hardly any gas in it when I picked it

Return location did not answer phone during business hours until third call. Could not understand agent and my pre turn-in questions went unanswered. Received call from U-Haul regional manager which was very helpful and much appreciated. Returned trailer to designated location before business opened so no assistance available. Downloaded U-Haul App before return; online self return app worked great…5 min drop off with no issues.

Not only did we get the wrong size truck because according to them the smaller one was not available which is the one I reserved online. So upon my arrival I had no choice but to take the larger truck and pay the larger price I didn't need a truck that size. But I did in fact need the truck that day. So instead of the $54 that I was quoted online of having to pay instead I paid almost $100 because I had to take the larger truck. The whole point of getting the box truck was because it was bad weather that day and I didn't want my boxes and items to get wet. In fact the truck leaks and my boxes got wet and so did my items things that I had to throw away like Electronics so technically my $54 truck that I rented online ended up costing me over $300 considering I had to replace items and had to take the larger truck because I had no choice. When I ask this man why the truck was so expensive since it was his problem that is a smaller truck that I asked for was in quotes broke down. I was told that it was that truck or none. So no I do not recommend this U-Haul dealer no I do not recommend this U-Haul dealers trucks and I urge everyone to have a back-up plan in case you were forced to take a more expensive truck because the one you ordered is broke down.

Oldest trailer I have ever rented and my lock wouldn't fit as it wasn't a "standard" trailer. The app has never worked properly...it is a time waster.

Very poor customer service. Attendant on very LOUD telephone call the entire time. Was. It allowed to sign for return. Do not recommend.

Pickup and drop off were easy and quick. The equipment was very clean. I did mention to the owner that the trailer lights kept shorting out and I had to replace the fuse multiple times however.

Again, It seems that U-Haul has turned in to a side business for most locations.

The uhaul had a leak in the side/top and completely soaked my brand new mattress, soaked.
