ROBERT MSaid he wasnt a dealer so couldnt buy back the unused boxes (even though it says right on the box Uhaul buys them back); said I could donate them instead. Then ran the truck for the entire 15 minutes he was doing check out and then marked slightly under half tank to be able to claim $15 in fuel. Wasn't helpful in telling me what my total rental total would be. No real positives here.
Alfonso RIt's annoying that uhaul always tries to send me to another location hours away after I rent at my local dealer. Even though my local dealer has plenty of trucks. Probably go with hertz next time.

Alejandro LWe were had a reservation for a 20 ft made 3 weeks in advance. The truck wasn't there day of, and we had to drive 30 min. to pick up a 15 foot truck instead. No worries, Josh made it right by giving us extra days to make up for the added trips we would have to make, plus increased our covered mileage to 300. We were charged over $400 and had a hold on our card for over $500. Talked to Joshes supervisor and was given a complete "not my problem" blasé attitude, including calling my wife a liar. Thank god that call was recorded. Never using your company again. SUPERVISORS NEED TO BACK THEIR STAFF. Fuck you Erica!

brian cI was given a receipt showing I owed $0 and then received a charge on my card for an additional $500! This needs to be addressed. I called the location I was supposed to return it too explaining the truck was shaking. He gave me a closer location and both places said it wouldn't cost me anything additional to drop it there....
Michele PI have dealt with Brown Enterprises for years. The clerk was very helpful. In Southern Vermont, Brown Enterprises is the go-to location for rental equipment. Things could not have gone better. I was in and out in well under 10 minutes.

Steven WIt was a cold snowy morning, and I just want to say how thoughtful the guys at this location were; they started the truck ahead of time, scraped the snow off of the windshield, and pulled it up to the door for me. Their customer service was excellent. Also, I had a bit of a problem returning the truck online; my phone couldn't detect my location on the Uhaul site. I called the main number, stayed on hold for several minutes, and the woman who took my call was super patient and helpful! I was really impressed by the level of customer service during each of my interactions with Uhaul employees
sherrie nI had no idsues with this dealer. However, U-Haul itself stunk. I reserved a traler in Keene NH, and the day before i picked it up, they called and said i had to drive more than an hour away to the middle of Vermont to get one. That's two hours taken off my packing time, plus a half tank of gas. Terrible service.

jenn cWe ordered 12 blankets when we reserved the truck. When we got there the salesman asked if we really needed 12 and we said we could do with 6. He went to find 6 blankets and could only find 2. He said he would credit our card for the 4 blankets but never did.

Jessica DHad to travel 2 hours round trip to pick up my trailer that I reserved weeks prior to reservation. Then when I returned it 2 days early, I was charged a "after hours" fee because the drop off location was closed. Attempted to use the self check - in return feature, which wouldn't track my location properly on my phone. Over charged and underserviced. Never again uhaul.
KENNETH CNo clear indication of where to drop vehicle off and the representative was extremely rude. Also charged a $25 cleaning fee - Have pictures showing truck was dropped off and cleaned.
GEORGE DI WAS CHARGED $28 FOR COVERAGE INSTEAD OF THE $8 I SIGNED UP FOR AND CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS OF RENTAL WHEN I ONLY USED IT FOR 6 HOURS.

Scott CDROP OFF LOCATION WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO CONFIRM AND CONFUSING. VERY POOR AVAILABILITY IN THE ENTIRE AREA. PRIOR DEALER IS GONE AND PRESENT LOCATION WILL SOON BE GONE AS THE DEALERS ARE AS DISSATISFIED AS WE CUSTOMERS. WILL FIND ANOTHER TRAILER CO. TO WORK WITH.
barry rThis is the 2nd time I have reserved a trailer 20 miles from home and had to travel twice as far to get one. The location and service was fine, but very inconvenient.
ROBERT KI understand this location is in a rural area, but i was forced to remove the trailer myself with no assistance from staff.

W APeter at Brown Enterprises was efficient and very nice. The rental process (started at the U-Haul web site) was easy and the truck was fabulous and ran great. The drop off to Megan at Peterborough Collision was very easy. The worst part about the reservation, rental, loading, driving, unloading, driving and drop off process is that I had to drive 65 miles to pick up the truck. That was inconvenient but no big deal since I was warned about it and I understood that a 26 foot truck can't always be close by. The ten mile drive to the drop off location was totally fine.

David OMy gripe is less with the wireless transaction system because, plainly- it sucks/does not work(at all) in this location. I was unable to check in for 45 minutes as the staff figured how to go around the incompetent system. That gave me 31/4 hrs to get back before they closed(I returned 1/2 hr after closing- 3 3/4 hrs of rental for which I was charged 2 days" because I was "late." I am contesting the last charge- which is not inclusive of the 1995&14&taxes= $35. $26,04 does not cover the problem but it is at least a concession...I will "use your contact form" to reach out and perhaps hear back?
Miner CI was asked to call to confirm my reservation. I left a message but did not get a return phone call. I know people are busy these days due to Covid-19 but I should have received an acknowledgment. Also, it would help to have more information about what is involved in the check-out. Some of this could have been handled online.
Scott PI am a little annoyed that the safe move insurance was added on to my bill. When checking out on the website I had to spend a lot of extra time going back to re enter information after noticing that this was sneakily added by default. I am sure you make a lot of profit with this tactic, but it's pretty annoying if you don't want to choose this coverage. I would appreciate a refund of the $14 to my credit card.

john rClarify that GPS is required for rental returns - must use smart phone on site - cannot be completed later by PC.
