The truck was about ready when I arrived and check out was simple. I did need to ask for help turning the truck around as it was parked in a very tight space without much room for turning it around.
Laurie BlakeThe man who took the return was very helpful. I didn't have the paperwork with me upon the return. He said no problem, he looked it up in the computer and unhitched the trailer for me.

Jacques YoungbloodThere is no customer parking and so I had to park my vehicle somewhere else. As far as I could tell, there was no advance warning of this when I reserved this vehicle at this location. I only found out when I arrived and I was told that most people have someone drop them off. Had I know this in advance I would have chosen a different location. as I did not have anyone else available to drop me off.

Richard SimpsonEverything went well.. The supervisor, Kristian, was professional and the two movers were careful and quick. The entire move cost us only $400 for the 26 foot truck rental and four hours for the two movers.

Amanda GregorI pulled into a rather small difficult parking lot to unload the heavy 12 foot covered trailer. No one came out to help me knocked on the office door. It was locked. No closed sign visible. Apparently no one was around. This was approximately 10 AM in the morning after struggling and trying to maneuver the trailer into a spot, on the gravel parking lot a man arrived in a car and the first thing he said to me while I was backing, the trailer was that I was blocking his access to the parking lot and that I had to move. Keep in mind the trailer was still connected to my truck and that my vehicle and his vehicle were clearly on the parking lot, not blocking the parking lot access from the street. I explained I'm just dropping off the trailer. He acted like he didn't care, and he knew nothing about it and to move the truck and trailer because he had things he had to do. Unbelievable once I realized it was his business after I had to ask him. He became rude after I asked him to disconnect the trailer. I said I'll be glad to move and be on my way .He disconnected the trailer and began to walk away. So, I had to ask him to check me in handing him the paperwork. He refused the paperwork by turning around and walking away saying he'll do it later. Just a minute or two later, he drove out of the parking lot . I Had to call the call center to inform them that I dropped off the trailer at the designated location that was sent to me via text message location being on Monticello Road, Weaverville North Carolina .
Michael YoungVery hard to negotiate parking and exiting, the location I was supposed to drop it off at, Marshall General Store on highway 25-70 Marshall NC would not take it they said that Y-Haul would not let them take any more trailers!

meg chislettThe representative was not at the office when I arrived for pickup. I was able to locate him only after I contacted several support representatives that were able to contact him. I saw another couple struggling to find him as well a couple of days afterwards during drop off. The location also did not have a furniture dolly (included as part of my reservation). I tried contacting support to get one but I kept getting passed to other reps. Needless to say, my experience was very poor and I am planning to use Penske (or another provider) on my next move or rental.

Gregory AldermanThe problem was not with this location, the problem was with almost no UHaul locations near my desired drop off location accepting trailers. When I rented the trailer this location was shown as accepting trailers and I chose it. 30 minutes after my rental I received a text from Uhaul moving my drop off location way across town. I had business north of this location I had to be at so this did not work. It took almost an hour to get this worked out. I am renting two more times in the next month and fear I will be given the same bait and switch on drop off locations
Patrick FosterThe facility was easy to get to, but it did not stock hitches or lighting adapters, necessitating a long additional drive. They also did not reply to our repeated requests to schedule the mandated pre-rental inspection, necessitating yet another long drive.
Roberet MusgraveRating above is for Browntown. However, equipment ordered (15ft, appliance dolly) wasn't at correct location due to glitch within UHaul sending it to a nearby location. I was given the 20 foot at the same price but move was made significantly harder due to no equipment dolly.
Linda GauthierI used the 24/7 service. My original pickup location was changed to a location over 12 miles away without even telling me so on top of making us late for our move we had to put more mileage on the truck. The check in process was not good either the rep at the office was rude. When we couldn't get the cargo area of the truck unlocked , he finally came out to assist but he took the lock with him so we had no way of locking it back when we returned it and no one was available to give the keys to so we had to just leave them inside. Tried calling the office and no one answered.
Nicholas WarrenHas a Office building set up but never there unless you have a scheduled rental. I tried stopping in day before to ask questions and was closed. When picked up trailer, he had to clean out the inside (moving blankets/ sweep. After hooked up - left front clearance light was inoperable & his response was "it'll be alright". When I asked if this 5'x8' enclosed trailer would hold a Queen size mattress his reply was "I don't know"

Marc LeMauvielTruck was ready as promised, used the phone for pick up for first time, no issues. The truck was dirty, mud in cab and on truck. Engine light was on. When I returned the truck later Sunday there was an employee there, very nice and helpful to get me on my way.

TED GIULIANOWasn't told that during business hours there would be no one to help me disconnect and return a trailer. Very difficult to do by myself. Trailer was very beat up.

Benjamin BernsteinNo one was on site to take our keys, etc. Just as we were about to drop the keys into a lockbox, we saw the note to go to a website to check our truck in. We struggled for at least 30 minutes to input information into a certain part of the site, and couldn't get past that spot. Finally, after being at the lot for 45 minutes, a guy drove up to check us in! He said they have problems with the website! Geez----ya' think??!!
Carole McClellanThe initial drop off site on my contract was out of business. Attempts to call uhaul resulted in an unrealistic hold time of over an hour. I was able to locate this location on Monticello Rd and took the trailer there. Christian, the attendant at this location was very helpful in assisting me in accepting and placing the trailer.
