I would rent again from this U-Haul store. Steve very helpful with getting my cargo van printed for me. I would give his store a 10 for sure.

Krystal JeffriesI was running late for my pick up because my babysitter was running late when Steve called me to make sure I hadn't forgotten the rental. The man couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! I'm usually skeptical when I see a business has 5 stars but based on my experience this location deserves it. Steve went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and there is a gas station right down the street for easy fill up before drop off. I would definitely choose this location the next time I need to rent a uhaul.

Deja RislandRented a small panel van. It had less than 2000 miles. Very nice other than fuel burn. Indicated full tank of gas at pickup. I drove it for 18 miles and refueled with 4 gallons. That's 4,5 miles per gallon. Worse than a 40 foot diesel motor home.

Sonya YatesUhaul, you wasted most of my day! I had a very small project to do, but I needed some equipment. I am 71 and I had to pick up a recliner from my Mother-In-Law's retirement home to deliver, in town. I needed to take my 91 year old Mother with me, but it was only a 1-2 hour job, so it was not a problem. Throw her wheelchair in the truck and go. Is there a human being reading this? Do you get it? Small vehicle & appliance dolly. Website initially pointed me to location on The Parkway. Didn't make it clear that it was closed for 2 months. So, I moved to next closest. After I set it up, it had moved me to another location, further away. I tried to put it back to the John's Road location, but it wouldn't take. Again without any clarity or reason. So, I finally accepted the most inconvenient location (Brushy Creek) and filled out the form. Now, it would be a 3-4 hour job. Causing additional issues for my Mom & MiL. The next day, I arrived and the man that manages your Brushy Creek location, found nothing in his daily schedule for me. Since my need was a flexible, short duration requirement, he was able to give me a truck, but didn't even have an Appliance Dolly. He hasn't had one for a long time! He was kind enough and found a place I could get one for a few hours. Here's what you have going for you: -Steve and your other people that I spoke with (John's road) are wonderful people. -Your equipment is fine. Here's what is going to destroy your venerable company: -Your great people are subservient to your computers. They get the contracts and equipment that the computers give them. They seem to have little say in it. -Your website, reflects this same attitude. It attempts to push around your customers. It obscures information from us and operates from a position of "we know what's best for you and you don't need to know the details, just go where we tell you and take whatever we give you and be happy." What should have been 15 minutes on the computer and 2 hours driving around, morphed into 1 hour online and a 5 hour day. You made some extra money. Maybe some idiot "bean counter" will convince you that it was a good transaction. It was not. Due to you, the international businesses that I run had to fall to the background, yesterday. Unless you put someone with a pulse above your arrogant system and computers, you will continue to decline. For my future needs, I will try Penske or a local company or I will buy my own d??n truck. You will become my vendor of last resort. I just gave you 1 more hour of my time. I hope this gets far enough up your organization to be understood by a decision maker. Too many "great American companies" are falling into this malaise. Contact me, personally, if I can help you recover your prior greatness.

Tawanda YoungNot Steve's the manger at Brushy creek's fault, but I am frustrated that the policy of Uhaul is to return the truck with the amount of gas that you received it with. When I Received it, it was below a 1/4 tank of gas. I did not know how much gas I was going to need to drive to Charleston so of course I filled it 29 gallons, $104. I returned it in Charleston with over a half tank. I overspent on gas and will not see the $20-$30 dollars that I basically gave to uhaul. Also, the truck's CHECK ENGINE light went on Thursday night when I went to load it up at our storage area. I had to go to auto zone to get the error read, it said "underperforming catalytic converter". The auto zone employee said it could have been that the insides of the cat could break up and clog the exhaust, I contacted uhaul roadside assistance and they sent a nice tech out, but the whole thing took about 3 hours out of my preparation for the move to Charleston. The light came back on during the trip the next day, causing a 3 hour anxious ride.

Don EtheridgeThe reservation process was chaotic. After making the reservation I received an email that listed an incorrect pick up location. I discovered this when I called the location the day before my pick up date. I was supposed to receive a call that day to let me know the correct pick up location, but that call never came. If I had relied on thee email I received from U Haul, I would have driven to the wrong location. As it was, I had to spend over 30 minutes on the phone the day before my pick up with national U Haul reps trying to track down my truck. It was very frustrating.

Terri Bright6th st gainesville location is clean,well lite,good security. The staff today went above and beyond! So nice. I was there 319 around 1230pm and all the staff was courteous, helpful, and took pride in their work. I HIGHLY recommend!
