Teigen H.I did an after hours drop off so I had no interaction with the staff. Parking the truck and knowing where to park it was straight forward. The key drop off was well marked and easy to find.

Wendy M.The trailer was clean however it was worn out. Everything looked great at time of pickup however on the trip home I heard a loud popping noise. Upon arriving home I found the leaf spring on the drivers side was busted. After several calls to roadside assistance a mechanic was sent to my house at 10:15 at night! He then found more issues with tires and wheel bearings. This put me behind loading the trailer an entire day.

Craig S.Well was charged more for u-haul for milage when there was closer drop off and they had me take it all the way there to return it so me having to pay more i think should've been free since thats where they told me to go to drop it off it was not where i wanted to take it and i fill due to over all experience and the late pick up due to location and over charge on u-haul and the o er milage charge due to being told where to take it i fill that u-haul should reimburse me some of the money i was charged
SHANNON D.First I reserved in advance and received confirmation that two furniture dolleys and two appliance dolleys would be waiting on me and none were available when picked up the truck. No solution was offered I had to find alternatives. Secondly the truck was in terrible condition … check engine light was on all the time and I was told to drive the truck until I had a problem…not a very safe feeling. The truck was bone dry with no oil, I had to buy two quarts of oil to even get it to register on the dip stick. Next the Uhaul app never worked properly- a real pain to return the truck because they were closed early and never warned or said anything about the early closure. I checked the truck out with 3/4 of a tank and brought it back with 3/4 of a tank of gas but was then charged for a fuel charge ? When I called and asked why all I was told was “that's what the computer says and I can't do anything about it “ even though I had photos of both the pick up and return showing the gauge was at 3/4. This is more about principal than the $10 worth of gas. The agent first laughed at me and couldn't believe I was making a big deal over $10 worth of gas on a $200 rental. Then she just got rude when I pressed the issue to be resolved. She said she would refund the fuel charge but never has. The agent at pick up was so rude not sure why she would even be in a customer service position. I will say you've lost a Uhaul customer over the completely miserable experience.

KENDELL H.Fuel was indicated as full. After driving 4 miles, gauge dropped to read 3/4 tank. At completion of rental, I filled the tank with 12,6 gallons of fuel and had driven 45 miles total which equates to 3,5 miles per gallon. However, it is clear that the fuel tank was not full at rental start.

Jacqueline N.The truck didn't have all the blankets or dollies in it when I arrived. I helped the lady load them all. She also told me they would charge me $1 for every blanket that wasn't folded when I returned it. Never heard of that policy before when I've rented from UHaul. I was to return the truck by 3:00, I returned it at 6:00. My contract said if you need to return it late they charge $20. The store is closed on Sunday so I thought they can't rent it until Monday so I can be a little late. I was charged another complete day for truck, blankets, dollies and insurance. Great, thanks UHaul. Be aware.
HARRY H.This is a Uhaul issue, not Caldwells. How about having the trucks you reserved available when you show up!!! 3 people with reservations showed up and no trucks. WHY does uhaul take reservations for trucks that do not exist. Anyone can take the reservation, uhaul just doesn't know how to "hold" the reservation! The woman at caldwell did help me get a truck, but not the size I reserved plus I had to return it there, not the one way I reserved. I am going Enterprise next time! They cannot take a reservation unless they actually have the truck 樂
DAVID S.The website allowed me to pick whatever time for mobile pickup. I picked 6am. I get there and check in, but then it says “this location doesn't open till 8â€. Then why the heck would it allow me to select that time?!? So i had to wait 2 whole hours for them to get there. Once they opened up, they didn't have any of my information from my online order. So they had to start a whole new order. I also reserved moving items, which they didn't have. Such a horrible experience. NEVER using this company ever again.

The first time she called before the reservation was up and was rude saying it needed to be back for a customer, yet we had extended and received a confirmation. She argued with me then realized we extended. This second time the truck wasn't due until 5pm she called at 1:59 sking for the truck. We agreed we'd have it back by 4 and she called at 3:30 wondering where it was. She hung up on my husband and was incredibly rude. Would never rent from her again!
