DAVID DI use the U-Haul service every week to pick up stuff for my business. Since I am used to use the services and familiar how the system works that I did fill up the gas tank but still they charged me for the gas that was not acceptable.

JOSEPH LCaldwells came through for us when there was no one at Hines Bindery in Plainfield where we were supposed to get our trailer . From my understanding this was not the first time this has happened to people maybe they should not be a U haul dealer !!!
Cathy RListen to your customer's requests. I spent more money than I wanted and was told because my pick up location was changed. I was then forced to do multiple trips instead of a one-way, pick up and drop off. I have asked for someone to contact me regarding this and still have not heard back.
DAVID MMy truck had a check engine light when I picked up. (I took photo). Upon reporting, I was told maintenance was done and fine to drive. Upon the trip 4 miles to where I was moving to and from, the truck quit running three times. Once in a round about, to which I sat for almost fifteen minutes and the engine finally turned over. The green oil light came on. It was jerking around while driving. When returned and reported, I was told they would take a look at it, and was still charged an additionally $28 something dollars. I was moving with my 6-year-old daughter in the truck. She was very scared and I honestly kind of was too. I was almost about to call when the last breakdown occurred but it restarted and we were just a couple miles from the location to return. Overall, an overwhelming experience for a task that was already overwhelming.
JONATHAN JJean was excellent. She was so helpful- something missing from most interactions. Très sympathiques et professionnels. I had a little trouble with the tire pressure indicator coming on. I noted this on the return.

SADIA AWe were charged an extra day when we did not keep truck extra day. Also Plainfield, IN Uhaul called us to say we were supposed to return it there. I clearly picked Caldwells as my return location. No one ever said anything about returning to a different location. Communication breakdown somewhere.

Jeremy ALocation and the guys were nice. However the truck was terrible. Loud flapping noise coming from cabin. The box had a hole which was making something flap noise. Truck smelt like it was over heating. Checked fluids and sure enough the coolant was almost non existent. Suspension was awful and shocks felt like every bump we went to a bounce house or something. Absolutely terrible ride. The worst u haul truck experience.

WAYNE TIf Doug wasn't there it would have been a total disaster. He stepped in and took care of everything. U-Haul gave our rental to someone else. Doug corrected the error and made sure our rental was perfect! He was awesome!!

Joseph DWe did want to note: • After we picked up the truck, the low tire pressure lights immediately came on, appears tires have slow leaks. We had to spend money/time to fill the tires • The passenger mirror does not stay in place, drops low and this is very dangerous for any driver in larger truck in traffic. • Transmission seems to downshift when slowing down and engine gets loud.

Makayla RGenie at the location charged me for 2 days (instead of 1) by mistake and when I called her about it she told me I had to call the 800 Uhaul line because she couldn't make an adjustment or give me a credit. She said if Uhaul had any questions about the credit I should have them call her. Terrible service. Thanks, Doug

Dwayne WThe location did a great job. The only issue I ran into was on the app when I was returning the equipment. When it was asking me for pictures of the vehicle, it let me take most of them and then all of the picture I had taken disappeared. When I started taking another set of pictures, the app crashed. When I went back to start again, it said my return was complete. I hope everything went through.

Tim PThe charges for forgetting to fill the gas is too much. I was charged about $20 just for travelling with the uhaul for 22 miles. That's very unfair.

dennis bPut some kind of crank lift on the 6 x 12 trailers. I had to drop it off after the facility closed and had to lift it off of my hitch by myself and it was almost impossible.
