There were empty snack wrappers in the cab and crumbs everywhere. I had to sweep out the cargo hold because it had debris. When I arrived in St Pete, I discovered a 4" X 4" tear in the sidewall of the passenger side rear tire. I failed to properly inspect the truck before I took it, so I do not know if the tire was torn before I took the truck, so that is on me. But this Capps Auction Firm LLC is an embarrassment to the U-haul brand. I will never rent from them ever again.

David SI signed up for the 'app pickup.' The unit was not pre-staged, nor available, at the requested time. There is a small sign on the door for uhaul customers to call. There is no signage stating they have a person in the building, two buildings down, to handle the paperwork, etc. We found it by pure luck. Plus, when we called the number, no one answered the phone.

Someone called me back like 30-45 minutes later and checked me out over the phone and told me what trailer to get. Then trailer was blocked in, and I had to move trailers to get to it. No one was there….

In this case, I ordered rental furniture blankets, but none were available at the pickup site; also, it would be immensely helpful to note that no (trailer hookup) assistance is available at this site.

THOMAS BOn the U Haul website the different locations say they have u hauls available to reserve but when you call the specific location they say they don't have that U Haul available. This happened to me at several locations when I was looking for a 10 ft truck. Make sure you contact the place you are renting the U haul from to be 100 % sure you can reserve the size you want.
CHERIE WThis drop off location was approximately 65 miles from the contracted location. Contracted location was not accepting drop offs even though it was contracted location. Wasted 4 hours of vacation time traveling 65 miles to drop off and 65 miles to return to home.

Tracy PScheduled a pickup for 9:00am.....location was not open waited 15 minutes then had to call to get service ....waited until 9:50 before someone arrived at site .......storage yard where trailer kept was overgrown & unable to check thoroughly & attendant didnt bother to check equipment....never came outside. Drove approximately 30 miles &realized right tire was flat.......spent 3 hours trying to get it fixed. Lost a day of travel time due to poor equipment & customer service.
Mark DThis was where I planed on dropping it off, but I was told to drop it off 30 miles away at another location, I did not. I am not sure what corporate is doing with moving locations for pick-ups and drop-offs, but it makes me not want to deal with the hassle of U-haul.

They let us have it for the price of smaller but it took more gas than smaller. Was not happy. If they say they will have it they should have it. We would never came down when we did till they got one had we known. They said Uhaul called us. But we never got a call. If they don't get what we want why reserve it. We were not happy.

When I found the location, the girl there didn't even show me where my trailer was. The trailer was parked in the field in the weeds. No one helped hook up the trailer or nothing. Very poor service at this location.

No one was present for the drop off and I received msgs from uHaul that I was late returning the trailer. If no one is going to be there to check in the equipment, they should at lease insprect the lot daily

David MFrom the time I reserved my truck it was bad. I called into customer service the first time and the lady was AMAZING!!! However, when I picked up my truck the special was not recognized that I was quoted. Then when I made my return I had to call in again and the lady this time acted like I was bothering her by calling in with my question. I only had 1 positive experience with U-HAUL during this transaction and overall was very disappointed.
Angela HTruck was dirty both in the cab and in the box. Fuel level on the sheet was inaccurate. Worst of all there's a gas leak on the filler tube. This truck should never have been sent out.
