1. I did not find the online check helpful; frustrating to use; gave up and went to the office. 2. The bed of the 10’ truck was sticky with residue from an earlier rental. 3. I had reserved 12 moving blankets; none were available.

Emmett McCarthyMy invoice was not correct and the truck was not in good repair. The driver window leaked, it was raining and my left leg was wet from the rain. The interior was beat up. The invoice was incorrect, charged me over extra miles. Filed a report and given an estimate of up to three days to be contacted. It is now 10 days later and no response from UHaul!!!

TERRY IVERSONThe contract said this truck had gas in it but it did not! We had to go straight to the gas station because the gas empty light came on just as we drove out of the parking lot. There was 1/2 a tank of gas still in it when we returned it. I would like a refund for that gas of $60. I put in $100. worth of gas. I have never received a Uhaul truck with no gas in it.

Henryk KazmierEverything was fine. Reported the snake incident here as well. Apparently, the previous user of the truck lost a pet snake in the truck which we found 2 days while driving 65 mph down I-5 south of Redding, CA. We believe it was a pet and not a local snake as it appeared to be a 3 foot long, albino Burmese python. Fortunately, it only bumped into my wife and did not bite either of us. We were able to pull over and remove the snake from the truck. However, this is wholly unacceptable and the previous user should be sanctioned. This situation could have been very bad!

Jesse SillerMake sure the owner leaves the key in lockbox. I waited 45 min for owner. U-HAUL did offer an alternate location however I didn't want to start the process over. The combo locks are cumbersome as I had to try all three in search of the key. Luckily once owner arrived I was able to wash the grease off my hands. Didn't anticipate the lockbox scenario being antiquated. The owner is nice he had the moving supplies already in the van. UH support is great. The van was very clean and easy to operate. It met the objective. Now that I understand the process next time will be easier. Happy moving!

ignacio vargasMy initial rental was scheduled after normal business hours at this location. On the day of my reservation the keys were not left for me as instructed. Fortunately Uhaul customer service contacted me to let me know there was a problem before I drove to get the truck and I was refunded 50$ immediately like their reservation guarantee states. The next morning I went to pick up the truck and the employee did everything in his power to make things right. All in all it felt like an honest mistake and both Uhaul and the authorized dealer tried to make it right. I was happy with my overall experience

Charlie LeeThe overall check in and check out was ok. The truck seemed pretty old. Here's my major issue…the store claimed we drove 22 miles. I did now see this until receiving the confirmation email tonight. I tracked the exact route we went, and it was exactly 8,2 miles. It's only about a $16 difference, but it's the principle of the error. I am concerned that this may be an intentional error in tracking mileage to make a small amount of extra revenue. Does this happen on a larger scale and most people don't notice it?

Amber MckinneyDolly wasn't in the truck. Had to go back in to get it. Suspension on my vehicle was HORRIBLE. Actually hurt my back bouncing around. Wait time was minimal, so that was good, but VERY small place for U-Haul. It's also a shop for repairs and smog checks.
