Unorganized. When I arrived they told me I didn't have a reservation. After a closer look at the reservations, they realized they I overlooked and changed my reservation to accommodate the other booking without my knowledge making it 22 hour rental. I, however, needed all 24 hours and once I realized what they had done, had to call dispatch to make the changes. The van had obviously not been cleaned prior to my pickup and had a putrid odor. I had to bring Lysol spray with me during my trip and once I got home had to take a shower just to get the smell off me/my clothes.

there was no label on the key drop off- i dont even know if i dropped it in the right spot- very ghetto location- my recommendation- do actual diligence on your locations. Car Salon was given to me after a man at my original dropoff location - Gold Coast Mailroom- came out of the store to tell me to go away because they could not handle a 10 foot truck- unacceptable- amateur.

The van was filthy and had garbage in the back. The van wreaked of cigarette smoke. The drop off felt dangerous and I was charged $35 for allegedly being 1.2 gallons of gas under when I returned.

location where I dropped off the truck did not have anyone available to check me in. So I had to drop off the truck and hope they were honest. They refused to give me any kind of receipt or even sign my paperwork that I had returned the truck

The van was not ready on time. The owner of the shop came in late. The blankets I ordered were not provided. A few of my furniture were damaged since I could not wrap them around with blankets.

Thats fucking bad place im was going to rent a van for one day and he take por 2 days and then he put me insurance when i say no i supose pay $31 dollars plus tax and he take me out $87.36 i dont recomend this place nobody i call today for complaint and he take me out other $58.46 so i spend $146 thats ridiculus ??????????????

I wasn't happy with the mileage calculated and how the amount was $30 more and mileage calculated over 20 miles more. My fault for not taking note of the mileage beforehand but truck was in good condition. I just wouldn't use the location again

The truck was filthy dirty, parking brake was broken, windshield from inside was covered with some white spray that wasn't cleaned and it diminished visibility. The staff was not friendly. And on top of everything else my mileage was not correct! I was charged for more miles! I have all the pictures of all the problems. My complaint reference #1650509.

I was charged more than I should have been. I tried email (wrong email was on receipt) and calling and still haven't resolved it. I was charged weekly rate when i picked up on Saturday and returned Sunday. My pickup location was also changed last minute without giving me much option-and no mileage allowance given for extra 30 minutes of driving I had to do each way. Would never use again.

I checked in online and the agent, through no fault of his own, had some difficulties conpleting the transaction on the website. I had prepaid and he could not eliminate the need for a deposit without help on the phone. This added an additional 20 miuntes to the checkout.

Two things I toke van at 10713 and brought it back at 10741 and came back three hours early pick up at 11 am came back at 3pm no one check me in and now being charge for added mileage 10760 and I bought it back at full they are telling me I did put gas in.what a rip off. From Glen cove to garden city 9.4 miles and back that's 18.8 miles and a few extra not even 30 miles like I wanted.

I email uhaul on Monday to point out that I'd been overcharged. To date I've heard nothing back. That troubles me.

Car Salon did not explain the fuel usage fees before I rented the truck. I feel this is excessive $46 for 4 gallons. The truck also acted as if it were only using 1st and 2nd gear all the time even though it was set to drive (D). On my bill it would compute to 4.5 miles per gallon. I believe the truck has a transmission problem or was set up to be moving very heavy loads all the time. I moved large items, not heavy items. I request a refund of the "fuel fill-up service fee".

The only bad thing was that the mirror was taped together with painters tape. It was moving with the wind while i was driving. It made the drive pretty dangerous. I had no other option but to use that truck.

All in all this was a very convenient way to accomplish this move. Cost was as expected, vehicle was roomy, easy to load and easy to drive. The website was clear and simple to operate. The follow up texts made me feel like everything was progressing as expected so as to allay any fears I had about whether the truck would be ready.

conflicting address at 178 Forest or 19 Ford --corner lot. Dark-hard to find address. Not sure where to drop keys--not well marked. late at night drop off in a lonely dark place.

One of the most horrible experiences I've ever had renting a truck. Will never give that location another dime of my money. Had the truck for two days. I dropped it off on a Sunday like they told me to and since they were closed I dropped the key in the drop box. I never received a receipt and was subsequently held responsible for two tickets the truck incurred two days after I dropped it off!! They were for parking violations in manhattan. I was never close to manhattan!!! My level of disgust regarding this matter is pretty high...I will actively tell people never to rent from this location. The uhaull name is being dragged through the mud and will continue as long as you associate with this shady location.

I made a reservation on 4/23/2014 for a 20 ft truck to be picked up at the Westbury NY location on 5/14/14. On 5/13 I received an e-mail saying I had to pick up at the Glen Cove location. On the morning of 5/14, I called your traffic department and was told by a rude woman that I had no choice and that it was only 9 miles from the requested location. Apparently this woman has never driven from Westbury to Glen Cove during rush hour. It took me 40 minutes to get there and 45 to get back. In addition the Glen Cove office did not have enough pads (12 instead of 24) so I had to drive back to the Westbury office to get the rest of the pads. When I got to Westbury for the rest of the pads, I opened the back of the truck and found that The Glen Cove office had thrown 12 unfolded pads in the back of a filthy truck, which I had to sweep out before loading. The cab of the truck had a rotten egg odor which had to be addressed with some cleaning and a lot of Fabreze. The truck was returned with the pads folded and the truck swept out or you would have charged me $25. My company in Atlanta rents 2 trucks a week from you, maybe its time to look elsewhere.
