I was charged scam like fees for cleaning when I got the vehicle it was already dirty in the back full of dirt and garden soil and I was charged a late return fee after hours fee when I turned it an hour and a half before it was due. I called the location they told me to give them an hour on May 30 never heard back from them I called eight hours later and they never give me an answer. I am very upset about this whole situation I will never be using this location again I do not refer them or recommend them. Very bad experience and I still haven't refunded me. Spent 45 min in parking lot taking pictures following instructions. Then I go inside to the â€œno wait key pick upâ€, waited another 30 min watching the guy in front of me do the same crap I did outside. At last it's my turn, guess what, I'm not in the system, even though my screen says go pick up your keys.WILLIAM L.
Through no fault of the location operator, U-Haul overbooked the day. I had to wait 40 minutes for the truck I reserved to be available. If I have an option, I'll think twice about booking a U-Haul again.Walter P.
I was overcharged and spoke to the person there but their manager did not want to refund me. I've been trying to contact Uhaul but it's always busy. I did not think I had to check mileage because I was not asked to prior to renting the U-Haul so when I turned it in they charge me almost double for mileage which I did not go that far but that mileage was entered incorrectly when it was returned from the prior renter.Supatcharin D.

I paid a $100 deposit, when I got it the morning of they said to give them $53 more dollars and that that would cover the truck and I would get the 100 refunded to me. When I dropped it off they guy there demanded I pay another 47$ he said he had no idea about any other money paid and that if I didn't give him my credit card right then and there that he would call the cops. It sounded wrong so I called my dad who came down there, the minute my dad came in the store his whole demeanor changed, he acted as if he had no idea what I was talking about and didn't want my card. But he also said I would not be getting any sort of deposit refund. But I was told completely different that morning. The only reason I can think of that he suddenly changed his mind is that a grown man came in. The truck was smelly and the seats were sticky. I am very upset about how I was told 2 entirely different things. This is not something I would expect from a company like uhaul. I am very very shocked they allow such sexism and scammers to work for their company.Abigail P.

I rented a vehicle to transport a refrigerator and a mattress from Costco to 514 pleasent way, the distance trip was 48 miles at 1,09 per mile when I return the vehicle the man incharge with out checking the odometer hand me a bill for almost 100 usd I asked him how many miles are you charging me because you didn't go to verify he couldn't answer I told him and showing the correct amount; I show him on Google maps the distance, same as mine, he said you already been charge and I cannot change that; I told him I will call the credit card to dispute the extra chargesFransico V.
I completed a lengthy online application with everything finished, but still took a long time to get my vehicle. Still had to give a lot of duplicate information. The clerk also had to do double duty checking in U-haul customers and helping convince store customers.Charles B.

We arranged this rental online. We provided all the necessary information and made our payment prior to reaching your store. We were given the impression by our online experience that we would authenticate, receive the keys, and drive away. Your staff in the store were less than professional in their appearance, demeanor, and customer service. It took no less than 30 minutes for them to complete their processes and for m to complete a much less than intuitive driver license submission. This site requires a complete overhaul.Brent J.

Employees have to VERIFY that the mileage of the trucks shown in their computer matches the actual truck mileage. Thanks to this type of errors can cost MONEY to the costumer. I was overcharge for 65 miles that I didn't even use. I tried to contact someone from U-Haul to talk about this matter and no one respond any of my email or phone calls, and at the end they just took the money out of my account without my authorization or even talk to me first. It is very upsetting that we as a costumers that are paying for a service have to pay extra money for your employees errors.ALEJANDRA S.

When I first inspected vehicle, it looked used from previous owners, not to mention personal belongings left in truck. Overall experience with renters and pick up location was great. It was difficult to mark online whether the truck needed to be cleaned without getting charged the 25 for cleaning fee. Especially when it was already dirty to begin with.Adriel L.
I really do not think U-Haul can improve their service. I had a long time thinking this question over because my job is to be critical of others. However, criticism would be unnecessary in this scenario. I want to thank U-Haul, the company and all of the amazing individuals that keep this organization going. I had no problems making my first ever family move and it took over 300 miles. I will recommend this service to everyone I come into contact with, especially friends and family. Let's get one thing straight. This location was fantastic...in the morning. Uhaul on the other hand? Atrocious from start to finish. I had to reserve at multiple locations and then reserve multiple times at the same location before their system finally worked. Then I get a call telling me that their system shows I stole the truck. For some reason they never charged the card. That I had now put in their system FOUR SEPARATE TIMES! Then there were the evening employees that legitimately refused to talk to me when I returned the truck. Just a bunch of jerks that were upset I was interrupting their conversation. Moral of the story: UHAUL's inability to operate properly cost me 4 hours of running around town to figure out what was happening, and turned a 5 hour cross town move into a 12 hour ordeal. Let's not even talk about the 45 minute hold time to contact customer service. What a joke. Be better.Neal B.

Truck was dirty when picked up, pickup survey was delayed until I was halfway to destination when I got text when I filled it out it had already expired. U haul location didn't have enough blankets that where requested. Instead of getting 12 we got 5. The staff where helpful and apologetic but it was still a normal uhaul experienceCASEY M.
