My truck was obviously not full of gas when I picked it up. I only drove it 7 miles but it took over 4 and a half gallons to fill it on return. I didn't appreciate the extra I had to pay for my rental.gary B.

I was charged for the missing equipment fee after i had brought the dolly that i had originally forgotten back. I wouldnt have minded paying for another days rent on it as it was late, but not the 100 $missing equipment fee. If i knew that was going to happen i probably would have kept the dolly. I wish this would have been communicated or resolved in a better fashion instead of a money grabbing move for a little extra profit. There were dirty socks in the back of the rental truck as well, and there isnt any way to call the location. The tires on the truck were low and the person in charge didnt want to check them all, but i did insist that they were all checked after seeing the low tire pressure light.CHRISTOPHER BRYA B.

Incredibly convenient and the owner/operator is very knowledgeable and helpful. I like that the pick-up is at a convenience store/gas station and adjacent to a traffic light with a protected turn. I can gas up when I return and not worry about it in route. I can also enter and exit driving an oversized vehicle at the protected turn at the traffic light and not play frogger trying to get out onto DeZavala Road in a oversized vehicle. All of it just works well and is just one less hassle to deal with. I will definitely use this location again for any U-haul rentals.Clinton M.

I traveled away from the city and called back because I forgot an item in the truck but they didn't respond to my calls professionally. The equipment I rented was not available for rent. There was no solution to the problem by the attendant. The only reason I go the truck I wanted was that someone unexpectedly turned one in. I was delayed 45 minutes by the confusion.Michael S.
I am a first time user of the service. The online booking process was confusing for me. I was in step 2 out of 3 in check out. I could not finish it as it required driver's information. In my case a friend would drive. I did not have the details about his driving license. So I just close the browser. I was worried that my booking was not completed. But I found that my booking was okay after the first step of the checkout process. Though it was fine but it was confusing.Md M.

I would still refer others to the location because of the location and fuel station there. However it's often Difficult getting them to answer telephone during working hours. Staff have different way of processing checkout and check in of rental vehicle, and is a little frustrating. This was the worst experience I've had with a moving provider. First my rental was not ready for my scheduled time and I was moved to pick up my rental at a location 3 miles out of my way both there and back and I was still charged for those miles driven. and the vehicle was not the size I paid for, it was much larger. Secondly because my rental was not ready for me I had to pick up the truck a our later when I already had movers at my apartment so I had to pay them for waiting an hour. which is unacceptable. Finally, it was not stated anywhere in my rental agreement I would have to pay for gas and the truck i was rented was larger than the one I requested.Jameela J.

I received a cargo van with a front right tire 30 psi low, with a warning light on the panel clearly displayed. This should have been caught upon turning the vehicle over for a new rental. Further, also lit up on the instrument panel was a "check engine" light. I was told by the shop attendant that it had "been that way for a while", and suggested I shouldn't worry about it. Again, this should not have passed the turn around process after the last rental. As it was, since there were no other vans available, I was forced at 8:45 PM to take that one after I had to pump quarters into a tire air machine to rectify the low pressure. All the while during my trip, I had to worry that the tire would go flat again, or that the engine with the "check engine" light would quit. Customers should not be forced to take a vehicle like this, or be left without an alternative other than disrupt trip plans. This is quite sub-par for U-Haul, as far as my experience has been in the past.Eddie G.

Uhaul needs to provide provisions for these convenience store locations for minor maintenance. The truck I picked up was missing an lower convex mirror on the right hand side. I didn't realize it was missing until I departed the store.DAVID M.

As I write in my other review in the check out , the guy was rude since I tried to do the reservation online he made a comment when I requested the service he told me I'm speaking English ma'am and I answered I'm talking in English sr .well, I ask him for a small ban cuz I was about to transport a brand new mattress and he give me a van really dirty even the sterling wheel was sticky , my mattress got really dirty. I didn't feel safe driving that uhaul because in the dashboard we're the engine light on and the tires light on as well I was really worried to something could happen , when I returned the van 8 min before the hour the guy said I will check out the van later cuz I'm busy in the store . I didn't trusted him so I did the check out online cuz my friend told me probably he wanted to the the check out later to charge you extra so , we took pictures of the dashboard lights and the dirty van , even that uhaul is close to my house I will never going to return back to that location I feel really disappointed for the treatment I received , for the service I got , for the extremely dirty van, and unsafe to drive one of those van againDiana S.

The vehicle was very dirty when I received it. The driver's seat was soiled. It was very dusty and smelled like cigarettes. The rear tires were almost worn to the wear bars and the alignment was off (steering wheel was off centered). When I was returning the vehicle back with the online process, it asked me if the van was in a clean condition to allow another family to use. I wanted to select no but it was trying to charge me for clean up when it was not me that dirtied the vehicle. The condition of the vehicle was terrible but I had to get going so I excepted it. The online 24/7 processes was very inconvenient. It took the agent 20 min to get me so called approved so I can rent a U-Haul vehicle. I lost 30 minutes trying to get the rental going and that's also the time I lost from the time frame I had originally reserved. When I called the 800 number to reach out to a U-Haul representative, I was on hold for 30 minutes before someone answered the phone. Time is precious and time is money. U-Haul should focus on making the online process much faster. Less than 5 min would be ideal. And enforce the stores that represent U-Haul have more pride and respect to renters to clean the vehicle.Tumay N.
