The pick up location was very undermanned. Computer went down twice. The attendant did the best he could understaffed and poor computer service. Took a full hour to get the truck.

The location at the moment is difficult because of very cumbersome construction on DeZavala Road. The 15 foot truck was quite old and dirty, and the breaks were mushy. However, the rental transaction went very well. The lock on the back was broken and the representative didn’t care at all. The representative did not do a walk through of the unit and explain where controls were.

The 2 young men who helped sign me up were exceptional. Very people orientated. You could not have hired better people, especially with everything the had to do at the store, namely: (1) cook the food, (2) ring people up who were patronizing the store, and (3) last but not least doing the paperwork to rent the U-Haul trucks. And by the way, the U-Haul Van I rented was amazing. Price wise, the room of the Van, and the power of the engine. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Keep up the great work. I selected mobile check out and this location doesn’t have it. I tried picking up my U-Haul at 6:30 and I had to wait for her to arrive and open her convenience store and get breakfast ready before I could leave. I ended up leaving passed 7:15. I’ll never recommend the location considering it’s a gas station and the fact they don’t do mobile check out as advertised

This location will charge you a cleaning fee without inspecting the rental with the customer and so you are blind sided with a charge. Not doing their due diligence and making the customer responsible is very unprofessional and misleading.

I was not informed of any after hour return fee. I booked it through the phone and clarified the cost at the store too. I was told the maximum based on my miles would be $40. I am charged $60 ie $20 for after hours. Had I known I would have rented it the next day morning time !

Express checkout was not easily found but I was able to do. Once we got to location, completing the process was not easy. Employee assisting was not logged in to system and had to call someone on the phone to help causing a delay. To cause more delay, employee stopped helping us to assist customers who were buying convenient store items. No other employees seemed to be in the store. Lastly when I asked if we would be fined for bringing truck back late because it took 25 min to get the keys I was abruptly told that I would have to speak to the manager.

I had to google the nearest U-Haul location and this came up. My contract sent me to a location that didn’t accept U-Haul. So I had to pay extra miles and gas money.

Poor rating because I was charged more than the actual charge itself, even though I was told that the original charge was a hold and later would be refunded once the actual charge was complete. However this never happened and I ended up paying the original Hold amount which was more than the actual amount used......SO BE WARE if you go here..you may end up paying more than you should!
