calvin jWhen I made the reservation, I specified a particular pick-up location for a reason. When I called that location to verify everything was set, the person there could not find the reservation. After more than a hour, they called back to tell me that the pick-up location had been changed to the farthest location. I had been planning a casual two mile walk was now a 6,3 mile hike. Not exactly the first time U-Haul did something like that either. They don't tell you before hand that some truck are in such poor condition they can only be used locally. Or the reserved size truck is not available when you go to pick it up. That is why I used Penske for a move from Pendleton Oregon to Casper Wyoming. The truck size I reserved was where it was supposed to be, fully fueled, clean and ready to go the day before the reservation. They even reimbursed me for the DEF I bought.

CARY MThe website says this is a Sinclair gas station, it's not at the gas station! They were suppose to be open on Saturday for personal drop off - however when we arrived, there was a note on the door that they closed due to it being a holiday weekend - even though they should have known we were coming. We had phone issues, so getting the app was a delay to our departure after finally getting the truck dropped off. The site was very dirty as well - not a good experience for us.

Katelynn TThe equipment I reserved and had confirmed by multiple employees was not there when I arrived forcing me to change plans and leave one of my vehicles behind. Because of this huge mistake I now have to fly back to get my vehicle and spend extra money on flights and gas. Worst experience I've ever had with a business.

Tyler MCUSTOMER BEWARE* If I could leave a 0 stars I would dislocation screwed me told the representative that I wanted a one-way gave her the drop off location and she still put it in as a local when I caught it I called customer service trying to make it right and change the location to drop it off it was supposed to be taken care of after dropping the equipment off at that location I am billed over $5000 for a truck and a auto transport which in return overdrafted my account and the bank closed my account these people are very unprofessional and they cannot be trusted customer beware We’re not even trying to make this right with me I will never rent from U-Haul again They have lost a good customer because they wanted to be sneaky and vindictive very unprofessional
brian KThe person working at the pickup location was great. The rest of my entire experience was horrible. We were required to spend half a day driving to pick up a truck because now a RESERVATION isn't really a RESERVATION. You will get a truck IF you are willing to drive sometimes 100s of miles for it. The size we wanted also wasn't available. I was told if I drove over 100 miles to pick up the truck, I'd be give a reduced rate AND a $50 voucher. Did receive either one. Finally got loaded and hit the road. 15 minutes out from our destination one of their RETREAD tires blows. So not only has their customer service gone to crap, they now rent unsafe vehicles. We called uHaul Raodside Assistance and had to wait nearly 3 hours for a tire change. I will never use uHaul again. And that's too bad. I've been a loyal customer for multiple moves over the years.
Mark EWe picked up the trailer after hours per instructions. No right brake light or turn signal. The trailer had never been safety checked by UHaul! We had to work through many calls to get it fixed the following day before loading. The repair person the wires had rubbed underneath from a previous rental. Should have been inspected!
