ROBERT DAVISEmployee refused to assist us with the tow dolly beyond basic instruction. Requested security chains but none were added on despite seeing them in the office. We had to secure the tow dolly straps ourselves a few times and stop several times to make sure everything was alright, impeding our move. He did work with us being late, which was appreciated.
Alyssa EdwardsWe're not willing to answer questions. They did not hookup the trailer properly with lights or chains. That was left to me to find an adapter and d-rings to ensure my safety.
diane kaczmarczykChicos was very customer friendly and showed they really cared. I was on the road with my U-Haul in less than 10 minutes! I brought the truck back the same day and check in was also quick and easy. Chico's is a real credit to its customers and community. Highly recommend Chico's!
Paul DavisTook them OVER A WEEK to check in my trailer that I returned on Monday the 9th. I called several times and even had uhaul calling me about the trailer! I am very disappointed and will likely choose other provider than uhaul after this experience!
Katelyn HallParking is an issue at this location. I practically had to park on the state highway. It was the only parking spot on location. My husband and I had to park the uhaul only 5 inches away from another truck (that was being used for junk parts). This is a big parking lot, they just have too much stuff everywhere and ZERO parking.

Wayne JonesThe oil service showed it was overdue for an oil change unless the maintenance screen wasn't reset. The truck was overall taken care of though.
Matt MoodyPickup location was changed to this place 30 minutes further away the day before my reservation. Truck was very dirty and didn't have the moving blankets I had reserved. Very junkie and dirty location to pickup a rental. The person working this location also changed my drop off location which I had to call and fix the next day.

hugo medinaChicos is a mechanic/tire shop and has all the stuff around that is expected in a small town repair shop location. The people are very helpful and take care of business. I send my wife there for assistance. I really trust them to take care of any issue we have.
Bill CoferThis entire experience with Uhaul has been ridiculous. The pick up store was not open at the time of scheduled pick up and no one at Uhaul was concerned. No one would call the store owner to get a resolution. The store owner never called us to say that they would be closed at the time of the pick up. By the way, Uhaul scheduled the pick up at this store (50 mile one way away from original store) when they changed the reservation I had made on line. Absolute and unnecessary mess. Customer service is not in the vocabulary of this vender or Uhaul. Infuriating and disappointing.

James KiddTrailer had a flat tire when rented. Loaded trailer and took it back to Chicos Tire Shop for tire repair. Was told I would have to contact UHaul for tire repair. Why was the trailer rented with a flat tire.

Gerald L'EcuyerI picked up the equipment on June 24th and returned it on June 25th AM.After about 2 weeks I was contacted by Uhaul wanting to know where you equipment was. I was treated as if I had not returned the equipment and question as to what location I used. Well guys, it's not my problem if you can't keep up with your equipment but don't call me and say that I have not returned the equipment. I was told that I returned it to the wrong place, how can that be when I returned it to a Uhaul location after I was told to return it to any Uhaul location? PISSES ME OFF!

Cobey EverettWay out of the way. Had to drive my Uhaul truck from Hoover, Al to Jenison, Al to pick up the trailer. Very inconvenient and used up miles on my truck.

Scott McBrideThe individual at the pick-up location was very friendly. The truck cab was filthy. Drivers side door panel was full of water due to windows been left slightly open. The worst part of this bad experience was dealing with U-Haul itself.

ANGERNETTE MELTONThe problem was with paying in advance on the UHaul website. When I showed up to pick up the trailer the venders system did not show that it was paid. We had to get customer service involved to straighten everything out which took considerably longer than usual to check out a trailer. The trailer also had the left side tail light out.

Curt CaldwellWhen I reserved the truck online, somehow managed to order supplies that I never ordered. It gave me a queen bed cover. I don't own a queen bed. It sent sofa cover. I didn't move a sofa. It sent a flat screen tv box. I don't have a flat tv. The items were credited back to my account. I was greatful for that. But it never should have been sent This note is only for the online order system!
Cyanthia Dempseynot knowledgeable about equipment - couldn't tell me what size ball i needed and didn't have any in stock had to purchase from local auto parts store, not informed about the 15 % additional hold amount, after getting my contract tried to give me the wrong equipment even after I pointed out the correct one, location not convenient to me other locations closer.

DAVID PRATTThis was suppose to be my pick up location, but when I got there they didn't have what I needed. He didn't offer any help with locating what I needed. Very unfriendly. I wish I had not us this place even as my drop off location. I would not recommend this location for U-haul rental or any other services he offers .

Jenny HilyerWhen I reserved my 20' truck it was reserved at another location. At 3PM the day before my rental I got TWO text messages confirming a 20' truck rental. One in Clanton and the one the reservation was made at/for and one from Jemison. After calling both locations I discovered my 20' truck was at Jemison and Clanton did not have any trucks. Luckily Jemison is only 10 miles away but it still meant I had to pay 20 extra miles for the truck and an extra 20-30 minutes picking it up/dropping it off. I also reserved a hand truck and was told when I showed up to pick up the truck that one was unavailable. The truck was clean and ran good and the business I picked the truck up from was good - but the entire experience was tainted by the confusion from multiple texts, finding out my truck was at another location, and the missing hand truck.
Philip KamererPlace of business looked kind of run down, and cluttered. One rest room was out of order, and neither had a toilet seat. But, the personnel were friendly, and helpful.
JOHN BROCKWAYBusiness is a repair business and it was hard to enter, dirty, and cluttered. Staff was nice and helpful though. Pick-up was scheduled 30 miles from my home and 800 number assistance was not very helpful in finding a more convenient location.

GILL STAFFORDWhen we were selecting the drop off, the only choices were Bessemer. I told him I wanted Moutain Brook, but I think he was having problems with the software, because it wouldn't come up. He chose the Doesn't Kow option and said it would be fine. I guess it was.
