No dolly inside the truck . Office never answered the phone. Charged me for the dolly . Reservation never synced with the app so I lost one hour on the phone trying to fix it while the movers were waiting and charging by the hour. Pitiful service.JUAN Z.

I rented a 6x12 dual axle trailer. Upon arrival, the trailer tongue is sitting on the ground, not a jack stand. That size trailer is too heavy for an average size person to lift two feet off the ground up to the hitch ball. These trailers need to be equipped with at least a hand-crank trailer jack. It is a self serve location so no one is there to help you. Bring a scissor jack and some wood blocks if you want to save your back. Also to hook up you have to block the car pathway since these trailers sit in a parking lot. Trucks and cars end up being blocked for passage as you maneuver to hook up or disconnect.BRYAN B.

There was no one there even though their hours of operation were posted online. My daughter called and spoke to them on the phone. They said it's not usually a drop off location which you might want to take them off your drop off list. Then they said we could self drop off so we did. Since there was no one there to inspect the vehicle I took several pics of the truck to protect myselfDonna D.

The trailer wiring connector was bent and had to be straightened before it would plug into my vehicle. After 1000 miles, one of the tires came apart. Emergency roadside assistance was required.TERRY U.
No help detaching a 6X12 trailer from the car, ended up scratching my bumper. Very few parking spaces to leave the trailer. This was an unattended location.William R.

Pick up location did not have the trailer I rented, did not confirm/notify me that the trailer I rented was not available, and was closed when I arrived at my reservation time. UHaul agent assisted with getting the rental of a larger trailer completed over the phone. I hooked up and drove away trailer after receiving remote confirmation of my rental.Erik S.

It was raining hard and there was no room to park the trailer in and over crowed lot where it wasn't flooded. The office was locked during normal working hours, so I had to call their office then disconnect a very heavy trailer in the rain, without help.Dennis F.

I went online and reserved a truck on 09/10/2020. Received a text on 09/11/2020 I needed to use a different location. Showed up at 8:00am to get my rental and they didn't have a truck. Was sent to another location, had to use a lockbox to get the keys. Brought back the truck in an hour and a half, used 10 miles and dropped it off full. I was charged for 3 days and rental equipment that wasn't available!!! Had to spend an hour on the phone trying to get this cleared up after talking to the manager at U-Haul drop off location who said there was nothing she could do. Absolutely horrible!!! I used U-Haul 3 times in the last 2 months, I am a great customer. When are companies going to learn not to try and rip off their customers??? After this last experience, I will definitely try the competition. Venita with U-Haul customer service was absolutely wonderful and patient.Todd S.

The a/c in the first truck did not work. That was okay. We were given a brand new truck. However, once we got to our storage unit, an hour away, we found out that the ramp did not work properly. This really sucked! We let the U-Haul office know, once we returned the truck. There was no option to get another truck as we were an hour away, each way. Should have been credited something for this problem!Mark E.

The rental procedure was flawless, however when I tried to drop the trailer off at 3:00 pm (an hour early, and the rental facility hours were 8:00-4:00) there was no one there. When I called the 800 number the man was rude and unhelpful, saying that I could be charged 20 $for dropping it off outside of business hours. What? I tried to call the renter's cell phone, but he did not answer or respond to my message. I ended up checking it in online, once I figured out how to do that.NELSON T.

This was a horrible experience. It took me 1,5 hours to complete check in. I purposely made my appointment on the phone so I would not have issues. I was NOT told that there would be no one there. The online check in process was atrocious. It kept telling me my location services were not on which they were (on both iPhone and chrome). I was on with customer service 4 times in the am, each time assuring that everything was fine, then they hung up bc they were busy and I had another issue and had to wait on hold again. Then, I did NOT get the appliance dolly that was super important and no one was available to help. So I had to use my own equipment that was NOT appropriate- which broke and broke a section of a 20 $K piece of equipment. I then could not check out without paying for what I did not get and also could not return bc I never got it. Just horrible all the way around.Kerrie S.

I rented your product on average of 2 to 4 times a year and I have never had so much problems. They took 40 minutes to prossess a contract that was done over the internet, no recipient was given and they over charge me for the rental.Steven W.
