Return location was closed and very hard to find (after hours drop off). Truck was fine but the U-Haul app is useless. It is very cumbersome and I couldn't manage the pick up process or the drop off process. Dropping off after dark, in the cold was frustrating and wouldn't work so had to call in. The call agent was very helpful. I hope the app can be fixed by next time.

First time using this location. Would definitely recommend and use this site, again. They are very well organized and friendly. No hassles at all and I was on my way in about 15 minutes (I had done the "check-in" process the day before.) I've rented more from U-Haul in the past 5 years than my entire life from any rental company and, in general, they really have their act together. They do blast you with texts and emails after you make a reservation, so keep an eye out for those and your experience will be much better. Also, ALWAYS read the information they send you even if you've rented the equipment before... to refresh your memory. Thank you, for making my moving experience much better!

Great staff. Always helpful. Rather cluttered with all of the the Uhaul vehicles parked on premisis. Access was not blocked, just inconvenient. Would be nice to have electrical plug for plugging in light or battery charger. Very convenient location for us.

The gas gauge was marked at 3/4 full however it was only 1/2 full. Now I am getting charged $57,95 for fuel that I didn't use.

The Uhaul truck itself had terrible front end alignment and I had to drive it for 900 miles with the steering wheel at a 35 degree angle to the left! Plus there was WAY too much play in the steering wheel... meaning instead of being able to hold the steering wheel straight to go straight, I had to constantly adjust to keep it straight. Get the alignment fixed!!!!!

The staff is great and super helpful, really helped accomodate during moves which made it less stressful when I was under time constraints. There were issues with elevator to access upper floors and the wheeled carts. I don't go there often, so the fact that I had issues a few times makes me wonder how often the problems were happening.

friendly staff. overall good experience. Just got the van not in full tank, and at return I had to fill more than I consumed to not return with less than I get. This is not fare for renter. Better always give rental van with gasoline full.

I have used the Clarkston U-Haul location many times. I literally drive 25 minutes one way to this location, even though I have one within 5 minutes from my home. I prefer the Clarkston location because the staff there is terrific! The 2 ladies go out of their way to make my experience go seemless. I would recommend this location over any others in the area! This was the hardest thing to do after hours. The app crashes upon return taking pics as requested. I don't know if I would ever do this again with U-Haul if I could not speak with someone in person. It was difficult to say the least. I have pics of the vehicle inside and out that I could not load. We called and no one called us back. The keys were returned and vehicle gased up.

I rented the trailer but the gate opening was not wide enough turns out I needed 60” wide so I retuned it early and will need to rent the car hauler not offered any discount for not being able to use it Trailer was muddy on the outside

I had the storage unit that was indoors and temperature controlled. I had my things in there for five years before I moved and everything was in great shape when I moved out. I would definitely recommend!

The location and staff were great. Clean facility, friendly and helpful employees. The truck on the other hand was not maintained. The fuel was below and 1/8th of a tank so first thing I had to do was put some gas in it. The U-Haul employee who gave me the keys did mention this and said he would give me a credit if I brought it back at 1/4 tank (which I did). The steering wheel was off and pointed to the 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock position while driving. And the worst part of the truck, the battery was near dead! When I went to start it at the gas station, click...nothing...then a very slow turning of the engine until it finally and barely started. I ended up leaving it running the whole day, so we didn't end up stranded. Not safe at all, these trucks need to be better maintained. I have rented from various U-Haul locations and had similar experiences of poorly maintained trucks.

The truck was noisy, the window/door seals were not tight. Tge air conditioning was hardly noticeable wirh full speed fans. The truck did what it needed to do. I'll return to this location

The app didn't recognize the location, the original location I chose didn't have the truck I wanted which made me pay more for fuel and mileage than I wanted to. None of the nearby gas stations that advertise as being open actually were

There was no personnel to help and no signage to help. When I called the operator was not very helpful either. Was told to leave it in a parking space an there wasn't room to maneuver the trailer.

I had items in storage there for over 7 years, and over that time, the facility, which was excellent to begin with, only improved. Facilities are clean and well lit. Prices were reasonable compared to other facilities, and did not increase unnecessarily. Office people are helpful and flexible (within reason). And most importantly, vermin were kept out of my outdoor unit, keeping my belongings safe. I highly recommend Clarkston Budget Storage.

This is one of few 5-star business ratings I have ever seen. But-there is little to expect more from. It met or exceeded all of our expectations in terms of what we felt this service should provide. It wasn't cheap, but fair. Communication was great so we knew what was going on at all times and they reached over backwards to make sure we were taken care of.

I've now rented from Clarkston Budget storage several times and several units and they are world class. Great people to work with, convenient location and setup. I highly recommend using them and wouldn't hesitate to work with them for all my storage needs.

The moving carts need to be updated. Some areas are too dark and need lighting, especially the entrance. Overall, a great facility and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

You should not be charged for a full month if you move out of the storage facility in the middle of the month. The unit is quite costly we would have had $32,4 due us if you pro rated, as you should.

Basically had an easy customer. One point threatened to charge late fee because the check I had written had wrong. Date. Wanted to charge fee Had my email didn't bother to notify me Just sent me a bill saying I didn't pay. Really. I was turned off from that moment on. U had a customer paid on time and wasn't a hassle and u pulled that. That was the end Recommendation get a less new manager
