Make sure the customer knows to pull out the ramp all the way and lift the end at the truck so that the hooks go into the slots in the truck bed.

The truck was clean, ran well... It could've used a bit of attention on the windshield, however. This should have been cleaned and the inside of the glass, too! This, really, is an issue which should be standard through the UHaul system - clean glass, inside and out.

The computerized UHaul check-in service was lousy. The person assisting me with the rental had to wait over 15 minutes for the system to recognize my reservation and enable check-in. UHaul needs a more responsive and timely check-in system.

Ground space was tight and the building was very close to the parking spots which would have making backing up and parking the trailer I rented very difficult. I would imagine that many could do not it. We found a more accessible spot, so we were OK. I surprised to learn that the facility did not have a trailer tongue dolly available for parking the trailers manually in the area with limited access. Staff was great.

I think every truck should come with 100 extra miles especially when moving to large city where you need the truck for several days and lodging will be out of city.

The location in Webster is fine, we had no issue with that. We used the app to do 24/7 touchless pickup, and the appliance dolly we paid for was NOT in the truck. The good news was, we picked up the truck when the office was open, and ultimately received one. The irksome was that we had to wait 10 minutes for the only employee to finish conducting his personal business on the phone (he is apparently a landlord) before he attended to us. Sign of the times, I guess. Truck was clean enough, glad we didn't need to drive it far, it definitely had some trouble getting into gear.

Not sure why but the gentleman behind the counter was aloof and almost robotic in his interactions with me while signing out the van. He was better upon the return 5 hours later. Perhaps he needed some warm words from me but his demeanor was off putting.

I was not happy with the condition of the truck. The seat-cover kept coming off, the windshield was disgusting -couldn't even see through it at night, which was compounded by headlights that were barely visible. And there was no dome light. The fact that I was charged $157 to have this sub-standard truck for only 2 days is ridiculous. I wasn't allowed to drop off at a different location that would have saved me about $40 in mileage. I have to rent a much larger truck at the end of this week for the real move, and I'll be renting from one of your competitors!!

The man at U-Haul was great. I had ordered the trick as phone pick up but I guess he has a system problem the person he was on the phone was frustrating. The an wasn't ready with our blankets I had to scan my license 4 times cause the lady on the phone kept interrupting the process this is like my 8th u haul rental in 5 years and I usually do it all on my own so I was really annoyed . The truck was so dirty I cleaned it and returned it better than I got it. I'm very disappointed. Not sure I'll use U-Haul again.

I don't like the return policy. The phone option rarely works (never finds location), and it is slow, laggy and buggy. Would prefer to be able to use a computer after drop off to return the equipment/upload photos.

The office manager Gary was very professional and was able to help me in person when the U-Haul app wasn't working for me. I was also able to change my drop off time when I was running late to pick up the truck. I would highly recommend this location to others that want to rent a truck. They have a wide variety of trucks in different lengths to choose from.

The location opened a half hour later than it was supposed to, the employees failed to show up on time. I had to pay four laborers 45 minutes of time for moving that we didn't get to do, shameful. Zero apologies, zero compensation, and no follow up on the issue. Will look for another vendor when we need a truck next time.

Rude customer service and person was NOT there when I returned vehicle and 10 people were waiting outside to pick up trucks and No one picked up phone. Doors were locked!! The guy there is not nice!! Horrible customer service he really needs to NOT be there!

The young woman who set me up was friendly and professional. She had me in and out of there quickly. This trailer was much better than the unit I had last week a different location. I wish the equipment I needed was always available in Webster.

Showed Up for quick 247 check in and the app would not allow me to access the key/pick up the truck. I went to go inside and the store was closed between 1 and 2 PM. Had to wait an hour for guy to come back from lunch. At that point truck was not in the system but was physically at the store. Took 30 minutes utes to resolve. Wasted 90 miniutes of my time. Going to penske next time.

Really happy with our whole experience at U-Haul/Climate Control Webster. The vehicle was very clean and well maintained, the young woman who helped us when we came to pick up the van was cheery, friendly and knowledgeable, and the after hours return was easy and convenient. Another small thing we really appreciated: those “forearm forklift” straps you had right at the front counter, we bought them on impulse and were really surprised at what a difference they make for heavy lifting. (We were moving several heavy pieces of furniture). I expect my reviews should not say anything negative about the competition, but I will say that we have tried two other truck/van rental places before and they were very disappointing…after this superior experience with U-Haul/Climate Control, we will never go anywhere else.

the cost of uhaul is way over priced, taking advantage of the customers by using the country's events/issues against the customers. it was just a used trailer that had been paid for years ago. bluntly putting it, uhaul is a rip off. we are better off buying a trailer, tote our stuff and sell it when we are done.

During my experience my appt time was 10am. The employee did not arrive and unlock the business until 1025am. Uhaul should have adjusted my start and end time accordingly. And no apology to myself or other customers was made for the employees tardiness

Truck was great but someone at this location read the odometer wrong when I picked it up. Wish I looked over the truck and contract before signing. So I got charged an extra $450 for 1000 miles I didn't drive..

Mobile app for pickup wasn't working. Thankfully someone was there to assist. Vehicle's brakes were bad, made stopping tricky.

The online pickup experience was a complete fail. The web site wouldn't work without location turned on, but never asked. Even turning it on and retrying, it could not function. The support desk was a 20 minute wait, and then suggested downloading the app instead. That didn't work either and I sent a screenshot to support. I then had to go through a long process with support to manually register for the pickup. Eventually it worked, but I was an hour late getting the truck home.

That truck should be decommissioned. It's not bad but at 130k miles, steering is loose and small things like the ramp lock, AC, and wheel wells are showing signs of break down

Excellent reception by management he took me out to visually inspect each piece of equipment until we found the unit that fit my requirements. The unit was ready as he promised. When I was done the return was fast and strait forward. Excellent service, excellent unit. Do not change anything.
