The person checking me in was very nice and was doing a great job of social distancing. The grass needed cut, the cab of the truck smelled so strong of body odor I had to drive with the windows down some The cab floor board was muddy and had pet hair all inside of it. There was sticky pink stuff that had to be cleaned up in back. I truck was only have full of gas. My trip on Goggle maps is 143 miles not including getting gas to fill the truck up and then getting gas to meet the contract requirements of leaving the tank the same (Cold Water U-haul, to 400 Marsh Lane Oxford to 5110 Hopewell Manor Dr, to U-Haul on Keith Bridge. This is all after spending about an hour on hold because your electronic service would not work at 2 location with 2 different phones. I have used Penske Truck for mu last 2 rentals and I have 5-6 more rentals needs over the next 10 - 12 months, I have rented U-haul several times in the past and this was the worst process ever. Also the AC cuts out every time you get in the red Zone and my drive wan't that hilly or hot thank goodness.Patricia G.

The first location was locked up and no one ever showed up . Had to drive an extra 20 miles to get a truck. The truck had no air and when I called about the air the lady was rude and said she couldn't help us.hugh B.

The property manager at my drop off location was the sweetest young lady I believe Tina? She greeted me outside with a smile and told me she would take care of everything and guess what.... she did! She made my drop off a breeze and I was able to enjoy the rest of day with my Nana. Thank you so much!NATASHA C.
The 15' trailer I booked was not available at the location U-haul sent me to. This was an error by U-haul, not the location. However, after explaining to the personnel at this location that I did not want the 20' trailer U-haul booked for me instead, the owner continued to process the transaction, charging my credit card, and only afterward the bill was on my credit card did she listen to me and correct it.Allison J.

Kim was my contact at this location and helped me through my rental process. I can not say enough about her. She really was a great help and went above and beyond with her service. I needed the truck a couple of days longer than I had Anticipated, and Kim took care of extending my rental and all the details wth just a phone call. My only negative would be that I had ordered hand trucks and blankets. I assumed they would be on the truck when i picked it up. But they were not. And they didn't have any at that location. But other than that. I will DEF use this location and Kim again. And recommend them ThksDavid W.

The people were nice but not prepared for the rental when I got there. The computer was slow, there was children running around a tv on loud and one child that had a moving going with the volume high. Took longer then it should have to get the rental picked up. Upon return I had to wait for someone to check me out.LORRETTA B.

the inside of the bed needed to be cleaned it had grease looking stuff on the floor. There was a drink or something spilled down the console inside the truck and it needed to be swept out. It also smelled bad.TROVIA B.

Kim (the on site manager) did an excellent job responding to my needs as quickly as possible, especially considering the problems I had with a reservation at a separate location. She was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process and I sincerely hope that I do more business with people like her in the future. I made my reservation online almost 2 weeks in advance. 2 days before my rental I was told there wasn't a suitable truck anywhere in my area. The day before my rental I found a truck at Coldwater Mini Storage. They were very nice and efficient but were 10 miles further away from where I had made the reservation. It just seems like I gave U-Haul plenty of advanced notice to have my equipment available where I requested it.Paul J.

It took over an hour to pick up 5x8 trailer to haul decorations for my daughters wedding...the woman kept having to call someone on phone for help, then sent her son out to hook up trailer, which wasn't correctly hooked up and if it hadn't been for my brother noticing the trailer would have been damaged. Then when it was returned the woman didn't know how to check me back in, tried calling for help again. And I had to flag a random man from carpet store who was there cutting grass to unhook trailer because she didn't know how & said her son had just left. I will never recommend this location to anyone, nor will I return there for rental.khristy C.

Below average because of lack of insufficient signage and you can not see the storage buildings from the road. The sign was to far back from road to be noticeable and I need up driving 10 extra miles because we passed it and almost drove past it coming back.Margaret M.
This was my worst experience with Uhaul. Over the past 3 years I have had anything from storage rental to truck rentals, Uhaul was always my first choice, but after this experience I will be seeking other rental companies. Zana Carter was not pleasant, she seemed to not know what she was doing. She totally screwed up my rental. I reserved the rental on line. Then I called her to verify everthing and what I was going to do. I was renting a 17 foot truck to move my son to Austell Georgia, approximately 90 miles. I informed her that I was going to dropped the truck off at a facility in Georgia, because what sense would it make for me to pay an additional 0,89 cents a mile for 90 miles -80,00 $ to bring a truck back when I could drop it off. That would be stupid right!!!! So Zana told me to make sure I called a place in Georgia and let them know I will be dropping the truck off, which I did and had the information to show her when I went to receive the truck. I was running a little late, which I called her earlier that day and told her I would be, and she made a smart comment about the computer being down and that is why I shouldn't come some close to closing time because this could happen, but it seemed to be working fine to me when she started entering my information. As we were going through what I had reserved on line, she informed me that because I have rented from them before I was being offered a 10,00 $ package for a Utility dolly and 5 bags. which I found out later she charged me for 10,00 $ for the Utility dolly, 5,00 $ for another dolly that was on the truck that she didn't take off and another 5,00 $ for the bags. I left there without any paper work (both our mistake) and her knowing I was going to drop the truck off in Georgia. Well on my way to Georgia a lady name Amanda called me and informed me that I had to bring the truck back, because that truck belonged to Oxford. I told Amanda that I thought it was understood that I was dropping the truck in Georgia and Amanda said I signed a contract and I had to bring it back. She didn't care about what was told to me only that I signed a contract, when Zana did not inform me of this when I signed the contract. I asked Amanda who would cover the mileage back and she said I would have too and I told her I wasn't going to pay for the mileage to bring the truck back when it wasn't my mistake. So now I am out of 60,00 $ for gas to bring the truck back to Oxford and another 80 $for the 90 miles. If this would have been explained to me before I left with the truck there is no way I would have taken that truck that day. I am really upset because of the money I have had to spend and still no word as of today 5/13/2014 if it will be resolved. I am very disappointed and really angry for the way I was treated and being told I would have to pay for the mistake the Uhaul representative made. I haven't seen the total charge hit my credit card yet but if I am charged for the miles back I will takeSHELIA B.
